Dearborn High School Reviews
Rating 3.9 out of 5 253 reviews
It is fairly decent, however it doesn't stick out neccessarily in any particular aspect. I think if you truly want to be prepared for college and stick out as a college applicant you have to go out of your way to find programs you can join to stand out.
The best parts of Dearborn High School include its diverse student body and range of academic programs. The school offers a variety of courses and programs that cater to different interests and skill levels, including Advanced Placement courses, honors classes, and career and technical education programs, which allow students to explore their passions and develop essential skills for their future careers. On the other hand, there issues with bullying and a lack of support from school administration . This can create a negative learning environment for students, impacting their academic performance and overall well-being.To improve the school, it would be beneficial to address issues related to bullying and ensure that students feel safe and supported. School administration should take proactive measures to prevent bullying and provide resources to students who experienced it.
As a student who is about to graduate from Dearborn High School, I have immense respect and gratitude towards our hardworking and dedicated teachers. They truly go above and beyond to support their students. Personally, I struggled with a challenging class this academic year, but thanks to my teacher's after-school and lunch tutoring sessions, I not only passed the course but also understood the material better. I am incredibly thankful for her dedication and extra efforts. While I appreciate the faculty, I also believe that the school can make some improvements, both in terms of the physical building and online resources. For instance, enhancing the homepage to make it more user-friendly for newcomers would be beneficial.
