Jin Kazama

Image
Jin Kazama rocking his Tekken 5 look. My fav look from my fav Tekken game. πŸ’ͺ🏻 Fan art on an A3 sheet, painted with Touch color markers. I enjoyed using them. Next up, wanna buy me some Copic markers and try them out.

Dragoneye

Image
Firstly, let me start saying that I didn't know what to use in the title of this postπŸ˜‚ but Dragoneye sounds cool enough. Speaking of cool, dragons are cool, right? This sketch taught me something: sketching dragons and bump some heavy metal in your earphones go perfectly along like coffe and milk, like chocolate and peanut butter, like burger and fries? You get the picture. It's feels great to get "in the zone", simply immersed in the task. Dragons are metal... so why not sketch some while listening to metal? Not too lound, of course, please protect your ears. πŸ˜‰

Shayna

Image
Named her Shayna . Why? To me, Shayna sounds just like the vibe I was going for: "Barbarian lady." 😁   I just felt like drawing something related to fantasy, sword and sandal, etc. She's definitely inspired by the likes of Red Sonja and Conan. There's something badass about a barbarian lady clad in bikini armor riding a velociraptor.

Kazuya/Jin - Father/Son Mutual Punch

Image
Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama - They're always clocking each other in the face in the Tekken series, so I decided to "throw my pencil in the ring" and draw them. Originally drawn on A3, then painted on Photoshop.

Hotsuma fan art (from the video game Shinobi)

Image
Hotsuma The above image is a fan art of Hotsuma, the protagonist from the Playstation 2 game Shinobi , by Sega.  Originally drawn on an A3 size paper and painted digitally. It was a great exercise to... well exercise my digital painting skills hehe. Learned a lot.  Also, this post serves as an update to this blog. I originally created it to push me into writing more fiction, but as I'm extremely attuned to Art as a whole, I don't just do writing, but also do Illustrating, therefore I'll be not only posting my writing in this blog, but also artwork. Be it original character designs, fan art, paintings, sketches, all that great stuff. Oh, let me not forget. This artwork was made for the thumbnail of a video in my channel Games and Flix , so I invite you to check the video. πŸ™‚

Superhero Talk - part 2 (Superman and Batman)

Continuing with the idea of trying my hand at writing dialogue between certain characters, next I thought about two from the same company, πŸ¦‡ Batman and 🦸🏻‍♂️ Superman . The World's Finest having a little convo. Sounds fun, right? Hope you enjoy this little writing exercise. 😊 B: Thank you for coming, Superman. I'd normally request Green Arrow to join me in stakeout missions for the League, but the way we've been spread so thin lately... S: Don't worry, I'm glad to help. So, what is that building you're surveying? B: I've been following the trail of a new gunrunner who appeared in Gotham, which is not uncommon, but when I realized they were visiting places like Star City, Metropolis and Coast City, I knew there was more to it. S: Cities protected by members of the League. B: Exactly. That's not all, I found out they've been in areas that have seen some action. Places that have been battlefields or had some sort of metahuman confrontation, especia

Superhero Talk - part 1 (Spider-Man and Batman)

I came upon me the idea of " what would be like a conversation between characters from different companies? " One of them was, how an interaction between Spidey and Batman would look like or play out , so this is me giving this idea a go. Additionally, it would be fun to sketch this idea in a few comic panels... I'll keep that in mind. For the time being, please enjoy this conversation between Spider-ManπŸ•·️ and πŸ¦‡Batman. πŸ™‚ S: Aw, man. My head is spinning. Never thought that a transdimensional plane disruptor was so volatile. Reed should've told me that thing was prone to overheating when he asked me for some help. S: Sheesh, did the explosion send me flying that far? What part of the city is this? S: Wow there! You should drive more carefully. Lucky I got my spider-sense on my side. B: Who are you? S: I thought at this point all New Yorkers knew me... Spider-Man. And why are you dressed like that? B: If you don't know who I am you clearly aren't from around h
