The Team Liquid coach started suffocating at PGL Wallachia Season 1: he was taken away by an ambulance
During PGL Wallachia Season 1, William "Blitz" Lee, the coach of Team Liquid had to be admitted into hospital. He was too weak to stand on his own and had difficulty in breathing; as well as a severe pain.
He informed the world about his status through his Twitter account where he wrote:
“Because I couldn’t stand up or breathe correctly due to a sharp lower right abdomen pain, I had to call an ambulance. In the last two days alone, I’ve slept for only one hour but refused to miss out on this game cause I’m stubborn like that. Doctors don’t know what is wrong with him. Maybe it is kidney stones”
In addition, he took responsibility for some part of his condition because of the lack of self-care and lack of sleep due to pressure at play during games at this tournament. It could be that exhaustion has negatively affected my health leading me into calling an ambulance.
“As for now am good avoiding unhealthy foods only. They took me at three when they did all blood checks and ultrasound without charging anything from my pocket. Right after being discharged from the hospital, I took a nap within one hour then went straight away for the game and I was happy when we won 2-0. All night long drafts were placed in front of me just so that we could win”
Lately though, he stated that he feels better now and learned something important. As such, today he pays attention to his health not allowing himself any more excesses even if it helps team win again.
Notably also, Team Liquid coach previously stunned everyone by what he did before playing against Team Falcons.
