Stumbled upon Bupa , they trustworthy? Is it what im looking for?

BUPA is one of our larger health insurance companies here as part of a global network and has been operating for many years.
You have to read the T&Cs carefully to see if it is relevant to your needs.

Edited: 5 years agoBritish nationals are also covered by a reciprocal health agreement between Australia and the UK. Our national health scheme is similar to your NHS.
It’s nkt so much emergency medical treatment that you need to be concerned about but repatriation costs that good travel insurance covers. A serious accident or illness overseas without sufficient cover can bankrupt people and their families. I doubt local insurance cover in Australia is going to pay for a flight back with full medical support or pay for a family member or friend to have to come out and look after you until you can be fit enough to return to the U.K.
