D Billions is a Kyrgyz YouTube channel who makes English kids videos that are known for their educational content. They are also known for their "Clap, Clap, Cha Cha Cha!" video, which has surpassed over 2 billion views onto YouTube. They are made up by Asko Anarkulove, Darina Vekua, Sarry Shka and Janybek Jenishbekov.

History[]

They created their channel on July 27, 2019, and uploaded their first video on August 8, 2019, called "Left! Right!". They would upload a second video called "Swimming Song," in which they would make a video outside a green screen and sing about swimming.[1]

Most of D Billion’s music ideas are critically copied all around YouTube, and knockoff channels will use D Billion’s music as their videos, but more cringy, low budget, and terrible. Knockoff channels like MiBiTopS mostly have the same number of characters in their videos.

Popularity[]

On January 12, 2020, they published their most viewed video, "D Billions - Shake, shake your body! Clap, Clap, Cha Cha Cha!".[2] They would then get even more popular in 2020, during the pandemic.

  • In 2022, their song 'My Name Is' grew popular on social media app TikTok. The main format of these videos praise Chicky, Cha-Cha and Boom Boom, however Lya Lya is disliked heavily. Later in 2022, People on TikTok started making dance videos with the song. Their song was also played in the beginning of the second semifinal of the 2022 Eurovision song contest in Turin, Italy.
