Edited by Dr Brian FONG, Chi Hang , these 2 books considered ways to fight for Hong Kong's democratic autonomy.
Book One analysed the challenges Hong Kong faced in its interaction with growing China authoritarianism, as well as possible strategies the former may deployed against the latter.
Book Two situated Hong Kong in an international context by comparing it to foreign autonomous political entities, from which inspirations of how central-peripheral relations developed can be drawn.
Following the promulgation of Hong Kong national security law, a soft-copy of the book is uploaded to the Internet Archive preemptively for the easy access of future researchers considering the likeliness of censorship carried out by local public libraries.
