I’m offering up for sale my Remington Custom Shop 458 win mag. It’s been a great proven rifle. I overdid it a bit buying a double rifle recently and need to thin the herd a bit.

The gun has a good bore and mechanicals. Round count is not high. I put around 30 rounds through it over the years. Its condition tells the tell. No notable wear, dings, or scratches to mention. Maybe a few faint safe flaws. Let’s call it 98 percent condition to be critical. No box or paperwork.

I have feedback here, gunbroker, and gunsinternational under prairie bird gun. Please make sure your ffl accepts from individuals.
I have quite a bit of ammo for this rifle I will offer reasonable to the buyer. If the buyer is not interested, I will post it for sale as well.

I would take $1500 and provide FREE shipping.

I have the sister rifle in 375. Very nice rifle, wish I could afford to add to the collection!

Coincidently the scope on that 375 came from wyosteve on another forum! Great guy.

Thanks Pat! I have a .375 like yours and if it was closer, the .458 would be in my safe! Still thinking about this one but hate the risk of shipping. Free bump!

I hear you on that. I shipped a rifle last fall to Washington state, box and case arrived crushed and with tire marks! Luckily the rifle was fine.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
