Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com "The Roundup: No Way Out” does not improve on the slightly refined formula of “The Roundup,” but it goes down a little smoother and is notably slicker. Rated: 2.5/4 Jun 2, 2023 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed ... is a fun action film with some bits of drama here and there to try and make it more than just a beatdown by one character on all the others. The story is decent, can stand alone without the first film easily, and one that is fun to watch. Rated: 4.5/5 Apr 30, 2024 Full Review Pete Volk Polygon You don’t need to watch the previous Crime City movies to follow No Way Out, but you should, because they rule, and any excuse to watch Ma Dong-seok punching fools is a good one. Jun 23, 2023 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat If you miss the blatant disregard for one’s rights and a bit of brutality that came in the form of Lethal Weapon and Beverly Hills Cop, The Roundup: No Way Out is as good as it gets for those feelings of modern-day nostalgia. Rated: 7/10 Jun 23, 2023 Full Review Chris Sawin Reel Rundown Don Lee punching his way through criminals is what draws you to the Crime City films, but The Roundup: No Way Out is forgettable. Fights are over as soon as they begin while the action choreography and cinematography are completely lacking in style. Rated: 3/5 Jun 10, 2023 Full Review Wade Major FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) We used to get this itch scratched by movies like Beverly Hills Cop. Hollywood doesn't really bring those movies anymore -- but they do in Korea! Jun 6, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Sven C The beast cop never disappoints! This movie had more humor and all the punching that made the first two great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/14/23 Full Review Norm V. Action packed and thrilling from start to end and a bit funny! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/23 Full Review sungsoo Don Lee is best action star.thums up Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/23 Full Review Marco Polo Great Movie as the previous two films Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is amazing! IMO- The entire series is worth watching! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Marc Z This is a super fun, high action police thriller sequel to the highly successful "Roundup" series. Ma Dong-Seok, or Don Lee, leads a cast of Lorean Police Detectives willing to use unconventional methodologies to solve their cases. The story is about a corrupt Korean police element working with the Japanese Yakuza on an international drug ring to distribute a new drug. There are elements of cross and double cross and it is very watchable. it is funny in a sarcastic way, but at its core, a police action film, like lethal Weapon. I much prefer the Korean with English subtitles to the Dubbed. Looking forward to next installment. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/23/24 Full Review Read all reviews
