Tiffany Stratton will wrestle on tonight's edition of SmackDown, despite numerous rumours to the contrary over the last few days.

PWInsider were able to confirm as much in a big update on the recent NXT call-up after pace gathered behind rumours that her match with Bianca Belair had been pulled from Friday's show due to an insensitive post she shared on her Instagram earlier in the week. Fans had noticed the contest had been removed from the full SmackDown line-up on WWE.com and joined some dots, but latest reports suggest all will go ahead as originally planned. The report confirmed;

"There has been a social media rumor making the rounds over the last day that Stratton was in trouble for a posting she allegedly made, which then fed into a story that her Queen of the Ring tournament match against Bianca Belair was pulled. It has not and was not, we are told. After speaking to several credible sources, we are told she's absolutely not in trouble for anything internally within WWE and that Stratton's been nothing but praised by management and other talents since moving to the main roster a few months back."

Further to Friday's match, her ongoing participation in the Queen Of The Ring and everything else in WWE, it added;

"Despite the rumors, we are told that Stratton's status within the company is unchanged and she remains on good footing, as she's seen as someone with a very high upside by management."

Stratton and Belair will wrestle on the show in one quarter final, while Nia Jax and Belair's Tag Team Championship partner Jade Cargill will work the other. The winners will wrestle in a SmackDown brand semi final before heading into a final at King & Queen Of The Ring on May 25th.
