Reset Hardware Settings (v22 and v23)

You might need to reset the default hardware settings on your Bluefly. Follow these steps:

1. Open the case using this procedure.
2. Start with the vario shut down (by long pressing the button for 3 seconds until you hear the shutdown sounds).
3. If you are having trouble shutting down the vario you can also remove the battery. 
4. With a paperclip or other wire short RST and GND (see the image below), then press the start button (or replace the battery if you had to do step 3).
5. The green light will come on, but you will hear no sound for a few seconds as the green light flashes on and off. After about five seconds you will hear a constant sequence of fast high pitched beeps.
6. At that point remove the short and the vario will boot normally.
7. Shut it down, and restart it.
8. You may need to re-pair the Bluefly as a bluetooth device on your phone or tablet.
