The Toronto Raptors intend to exercise their $23 million option on Bruce Brown Jr. and plan to trade him in the offseason, sources tell Doug Smith of the Toronto Star.

Brown, acquired from the Indiana Pacers as part of the Pascal Siakam trade, was discussed in trade talks at the deadline, but no deal was reached.

The Raptors aim to trade Brown in the offseason rather than waiting until the 2025 trade deadline, as Brown’s tenure with the team was somewhat underwhelming, and he revealed a knee issue after the season.
