- These two sides played out a 1-1 draw in their reverse league fixture in November and both teams head into Sunday's clash in the midst of unbeaten runs.
- Just as we saw in November, we're backing a tight and tense 90 minutes between these two sides as Liverpool have only conceded three goals in their last six matches and Man City have conceded just five goals in their last six outings.
- Six of the last seven encounters between these two clubs have ended with both teams scoring, while three of Liverpool's nad four of Man City's last six fixtures have also produced goals at both ends of the pitch.

Man City are the expected winners of this game with a probability of 43.5%, but this game feels like it could go either way.
Liverpool have been suffering from a lot of injuries of late but that hasn't stopped them from winning the majority of their recent matches, including a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest last time out. Man City are playing well right now, winning games with relative ease but they go up against their toughest opponents on Sunday.

Player to watch – Mohamed Salah
Liverpool have still been securing positive results despite many of their key players being injured in recent weeks so if Mo Salah does make it back from his thigh injury in time to play, it would surely give the home side a huge boost in confidence.
Salah remains Liverpool's best player despite talks of the player leaving the club back in the summer. The 31-year-old has scored 15 goals in 21 Premier League appearances this season and leads the way with nine assists, all despite missing key moments of the season through injury and AFCON 2023.
If the Egyptian plays he could make all the difference
If Salah does return to the Liverpool team this weekend as expected it could make all the difference for the Reds who likely take a draw right now if you offered it to them.
