Current setup is iPhone 14 Pro -> FiiO K9 -> Focal Clear OG. I don’t care to be mobile I just want something that plays music well and looks nice on a shelf. I’d prefer something not on Android, or if it is I want it to be as snappy as something on iOS. Price isn’t an issue if it’s worth it for my limited use.

You got an amazing setup so far. Just get a Wiim Pro streamer and connect via digital / optical to your K9.
All controls are done by great iOS app and you even can use roon if you want to.

Problem with Android players is they use very weak chips so It won't be as smooth as ios but that's not because it's android.
I don’t understand why you want a dap if you don’t want to go mobile? You have nice headphones and Imo you should be setting up a nice stereo system. What are you trying to do? You say price is not an issue, but sorry that’s bs. How much do you want to put into this and I’ll give you some examples of what you can do.

It’s bs because everyone has a budget even if they don’t want to admit it. I could show you a $100,000 setup, but what’s the point if you only have $1500?

You’re being pedantic. I asked for a DAP and said budget isn’t an issue if it’s reasonable for the features I need. Ask yourself next time if you have anything to contribute or if you just want to reply so you can get some much needed interaction in your life. Have a good one
