New data has revealed the most unhealthy areas of Berkshire, and some will come as quite the shock.

The pursuit of optimal health and well-being is not just a goal but a shared mission across the diverse communities and authorities of the UK.

However, achieving this goal requires more than just acknowledging its importance; it demands a deep understanding of the complex web of health disparities that exist across different regions and cohorts.

These health disparities are not merely statistical figures; they represent real-life challenges faced by individuals and communities.

Addressing them is essential for creating a society that truly values the well-being of all its members.

With that in mind, here's our list of the lowest to highest rated parts of Berkshire with regard to health.

Coming in at number one is Slough, with a health score of 90.90 according to BIOHIT Healthcare.

The health score correlates to the UK average of 100. So if 100 is the average level of health within a region, Slough is coming in as just bellow average.

Next up is Reading, which has accumulated a health score of 94.40, so still bellow the national average but just above Slough in the ratings.

The next on our list is Bracknell Forest, which has a score of 109.20, so just above the national average.

Just after Bracknell is West Berkshire, with a health score of 113.20.

Next up is Windsor and Maidenhead who have managed a score of 115.10, so considerably above the national average.
