Obituary of David John Golden

David Golden, age 94, died peacefully at his home in Bloomington, MN on October 31, 2023, surrounded by his children.

Born November 17, 1928, Dave grew up in the city of Keewatin on the Iron Range of Minnesota.

He is survived by his children;  David & Sara (Mattson) Golden, James & Kathy (Halvorson) Golden, Kathleen “Kathy” Golden, Margaret “Peggy” (Golden) & Mike Shoemaker.  Grandchildren;  Max Golden, Samuel & Shelly (Lepinski) Golden, Abby (Golden) & Tom Portelli, Berit Golden & Ferran Albert Ribes, William Golden, Lukas Golden, Myles Golden, Casey Miller, Lucy Shoemaker, Grace Shoemaker.  Great-grandaughters Nora & Mia Golden. Niece Mary Beth (Brenden) & Tom Dries. Grand-nieces, Jennifer (Dries) and Aleks Nelson, Lauren Dries, Maggie Dries

Funeral to be held on Wednesday, November 8th at St. Richards Catholic Church in Richfield.  Visitation begins at 9:30, with Rosary and Mass at 10:30.  Reception following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Richard’s Parish or the charity of choice.
