Good speakers speak to be remembered. Great speakers speak to be repeated. Join Craig Valentine — the 1999 world champion of public speaking — and get the top tools to keep your audiences on the edge of their seats and persuade them to take your next desired step at Barrie’s Small Business (BSB) Toastmasters Club’s free online Open House, this Thursday, May 16, 2024, 7-9 pm ET via Zoom.

“This open house not only gives attendees the opportunity to see how Toastmasters serves to impart public speaking and leadership skills, but it also provides a unique opportunity to hear Craig Valentine, who has reached the pinnacle of public speaking as a Toastmaster and a professional speaker,” said the president of the club, Gary Henderson. “This event is not to be missed!”

Craig Valentine is a motivational speaker, speech coach and an Amazon.com No. 1 bestselling author who will provide you with various tools, including how to hook  your listeners into your presentation from your very first words, turn your presentation into profits, and motivate and influence your audience to take action when you are finished.

Craig Valentine has travelled the world helping thousands of individuals and hundreds of organizations reap the profitable rewards that come from presenting
with impact and persuading with ease.

Like all Toastmasters clubs, Barrie’s Small Business (BSB) Toastmasters Club, No. 8602, is committed to helping members develop their leadership and public
speaking skills. It has been part of the city of Barrie since the club was chartered almost 22 years ago.

“Toastmasters has been changing lives for 100 years. We recognize that good communication skills will open doors of opportunity. We are offering an opportunity to learn from the best. Come to this free event to hear a speaker who has mastered the skills and willingly shares them with others,” said Jean McAllister, the vice-president of public relations for the club. “Toastmasters has helped me as a leader and a speaker. I would never have imagined the experience of leadership before I joined Toastmasters. I am very pleased I accepted the opportunity.”

Barrie’s Small Business (BSB) Toastmasters Club has been meeting online since 2020. It has welcomed members and guests from Canada, the U.S., Australia,
Japan and China.
