Join as Eye Candy Gallery is proud to present “Holding On, Letting Go,” a solo exhibition from local artist Stephanie Slack. The exhibit demonstrates her mastery of representing traditional subject matter in an unconventional way. An opening reception to meet the artist will be held on Saturday, May 18th | 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Her art is about recording moments and seasons in her life in ways that can be shared with the world. Slack’s series, “Holding On, Letting Go,” began after the passing of her grandmother, the only grandparent she had ever known. Using painting and textile techniques, Slack created a body of work memorializing the moments shared with her grandmother. Slack traditionally paint in oils, but also practices several other mediums, notably textiles, watercolors, and pastel. In addition, Stephanie can be found at the gallery most days during business hours. The exhibit will remain on display through June 15th. Gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday | 11am-5pm.
