Reviews
- Edited 6 years agoThis isn't a stellar album, but it has its moments, mostly provided by electro-fun pioneer producer John Robie's production, which recalls that complex, clean Scritti Politti 80s polish. Standouts are the title track, The Spirit of Love (with background vocals by Chaka Khan), and I'll Get Over You, which sounds like a single, but never was. A late 80s curio.
