A faith-based film with a sweetly humanist grounding, Sight blinks at delivering much tonal nuance but delivers its true inspirational tale with moving conviction.

Monica Castillo RogerEbert.com Without looking up its real-life parallels, you could probably guess where things were headed. For some viewers, this predictability is like comfort food from a chain restaurant. For others, it’s the equivalent of cinematic dental work. Rated: 2/4 May 24, 2024 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety For all its predictability, “Sight” has a few surprises up its sleeve, especially when Wang discovers there’s more than one way to measure success or failure. May 24, 2024 Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News [Sight] realizes its goal handedly: To inspire us to do something for others. Rated: 2.5/4 May 22, 2024 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Scenes are played for maximum emotionality, with only the occasional glimpse of earthy authenticity. This approach feels very pushy, and would have had more impact if it let the audience discover the themes themselves. Rated: 3/5 May 28, 2024 Full Review Shawn Edwards Fox 4 Kansas City It's moving, and it's an inspiring faith based adult drama that provides a bit of maturity if you're sick of over the top action movies or silly animated features. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/29/24 Full Review ely t Family film . No sex or bad language. True story . Information about the revolution in China . One of many cruel things they do to another human being in India because of poverty . Yes, the two intertwining in one mans life , who against all odds rose above it all and succeeded. His past driving him to help others not live in darkness but see the light . (Spoiler Alert 🛑Real Dr. speaks at the end of the film and shared real photos.). I highly recommend this film for those who likes true stories and seeing a film that leaves you a little wiser and feeling good about the world knowing theirs people using their talents & time not to get rich but help others. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/24 Full Review SHEILA J Learned so much about the Chinese revolution and also about the eye surgeries. Sad about what they do to little kids in India to make them beggars. Thanksful for good people- parents that adopt blind children, doctors that perform surgeries.
