Born in Porto, Portugal, Nuno Monteiro entered the local music scene at the age of 13. His musical journey started with local bands, studying Classical guitar, and then a star-studded formal education which focused on Flamenco guitar. He has performed with many of the top artists in both Portugal and Spain, as well as recording and touring with Portuguese singer José Alberto Reis. He has also been a house band musician on Princess Cruises, collaborating with dozens of headliners. Part of his cruises work included Jazz sets, Solo sets and Big Band sets. His travels have taken him to 53 countries so far. Nuno is a very versatile musician. He plays and loves many different genres, but his first love is still the style he cut his teeth on: Rock.
