Apple Airtags

I’ll be travelling to Japan in September with Singapore Airlines. I want to put my Apple Airtags in my checked luggage for peace of mind in case my luggage is delayed or lost. I searched on Google whether they are allowed or not but I’m not really getting any clear answers as they can’t be switched off (which is what is required). Has anyone here had any experiences with their Apple AirTags in checked luggage and was it allowed?

Thanks so much!

“The Federal Aviation Administration has even ruled that having an AirTag in your luggage is permitted and, in fact, not a safety hazard. The devices only contain 0.1 grams of lithium, which falls below the FAA's limit.” https://www.cnn.com/cnn-underscored/travel/travel-apple-airtags

I had an Airtag in my checked luggage when I flew to Japan (and back to Australia) in November. I flew JAL there and Qantas back. No problem either way.
