Actor. He was best known to television viewers as the Romulan Subcommander 'Tal' in a 1968 episode of "Star Trek." He started his professional acting career in both theater and early television in Los Angeles before heading to New York City to continue his acting career. He went on to appear on the soap operas "The Guiding Light" and "As the World Turns." He returned to Los Angeles in the 1960s and continued his acting career on both "the big screen" and television. Besides "Star Trek," his numerous career television credits included such series as "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "Get Smart," "The Flying Nun," "Mission: Impossible," "Mannix," "Kojak," "Baywatch," "Shasta McNasty," "Roswell," "Star Trek: Enterprise," "Reno 911!," "General Hospital," and "Con Man." He made his film debut in "Hand of Death" in 1962. He would go on to appear in such films as "Hotel" (1967), "Stigmata" (1999), "Exorcism" (2003), "Four Christmases" (2008), and "So This Is Love" (2016). He also co-founded the Oxford Theater with fellow actor Lee Delano.
