Nanci at her best
This Nanci Griffith album covers a fine selection of other writers' works, lovingly renendered by a musician who values the living power of song. Presenting a wide array of themes and styles, Nanci gives her listeners much to contemplate and a whole lot to enjoy. A truly wonderful CD to add to your collection. Buy it now!

I first heard this album when it was released but never got my own copy. Going back to it now, it sounds just as fresh and original. Nanci occupies a point somewhere between country and folk and this album leans more to the latter. Her selections bring the talents of other artists to a broader audience, but brings her own take on their songs. An album I recommend.
