Agata Kornhauser-Duda

Mrs Kornhauser-Duda was born on 2 April 1972 in Kraków.

She completed her secondary education at the Bartłomiej Nowodworski High School in Kraków.

Having received her General Certificate of Secondary Education in 1991, she commenced university studies at the Department of German Philology of the Jagiellonian University, which she completed in 1997 earning her  Master’s Diploma. After graduation, Mrs Kornhauser-Duda was initially employed by  a private company , and subsequently, from October 1998 to 2015, she worked as a German language teacher in Jan III Sobieski High School in Kraków. Next to her teacher’s portfolio , Mrs Agata Kornhauser-Duda was  in charge of i.a. student exchange programmes with schools from German speaking countries.

Since 1994 she has been married to Andrzej Duda. Mr and Mrs Duda have one daughter Kinga, who holds an MA in law.
