Alexa Marie Aikman is the daughter of former NFL player, Troy Aikman. Her father played for the Dallas Cowboys as a quarterback throughout his NFL career. Alexa was born on 30th July 2002, in Dallas, Texas, United States. She is the daughter of Troy Aikman and his first wife, Rhonda Worthey.

Her parents first met while both of them were in the Dallas Cowboys; Rhonda was a publicist for the team while Troy was a quarterback for the team.

The two got married on 8th April 2000 in a low-key wedding ceremony held in Aikman’s home in Plano, Dallas, Texas. A year after their marriage, Troy and his former wife Rhonda embraced the journey of parenthood, welcoming their first daughter, Jordan on 24th August 2001. The following year, they had Alexa.

Sadly, their marriage ended in a divorce in April 2011. When they announced their separation in January of the year, Aikman stated,

Besides, as for her current whereabouts, Rhonda currently resides in Dallas and is an executive assistant at Key Development, LLC, in Addison, Texas. She previously worked for Dallas Cowboys from 1992-1999, holding multiple positions.

What Is Her Dad, Troy Doing Now?

Her father, Troy is now a color commentator for Monday Night Football. Prior to joining the broadcast in 2022, Aikman held the same position on Fox. He worked there from 2001 to 2021.

After Aikman became a single dad, the player has been trying to adapt to single fatherhood, even with the help of parenting books. He said,

When I became a single dad, I read a lot of books, trying to figure it out… and what I learned is that girls get a lot of their self-confidence from their fathers

She Was A Volleyball Player At The Episcopal School of Dallas

Troy’s daughter went to The Episcopal School of Dallas and earned her high school diploma in May 2021. During her high school, Alexa was also an avid volleyball player for the Episcopal School of Dallas Varsity Girls Volleyball team. Their team won several matches against some prominent local teams, including Hockaday High School by a score of 3-2, Cooper High School by a score of 3-0, and Greenhill High School by a score of 3-1.

After high school, Alexa went to Southern Methodist University – Cox School of Business in August 2021. She is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from college in May 2025.
