"My vote, my right," Ravindra Jadeja wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of him and his wife from the poll booth. Ravindra Jadeja, who was in Dharamsala on Sunday, flew down to Jamnagar to cast his vote on Tuesday, May 7. Rivaba, an MLA of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Jamnagar North Constituency, cast her vote early on Tuesday morning. It seems Jadeja joined her later in the evening and the power couple posed for the photo later in the afternoon.

"Making my mark in history: voted in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, securing India's tomorrow," Rivaba wrote in her social media post. Incidentally, Jadeja was wearing the Super Kings shirt as he turned up in Jamnagar to vote.

Indian cricketers have been leading by example when it comes to voting in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. Head coach Rahul Dravid and former leg-spinner Anil Kumble were among the first ones to vote in Bengaluru on Friday, April 26.

Dravid, speaking to India Today, urged the city to create a voter turnout record as he sent a powerful message to the public.

Ravindra Jadeja made good use of the 4-day break between his IPL 2024 games. The all-rounder won the Player of the Match award on Sunday as he hit a crucial 43 and picked 3 wickets against Punjab in Dharamsala. Jadeja became only the 2nd all-rounder in the history of the IPL to score 30-plus and pick up 3 or more wickets in a match for the 5th time after Shane Watson.

Jadeja will be hoping to continue his good all-round form as CSK gear up to face Gujarat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, May 10.

Jadeja's form will be crucial to India's hopes of winning the T20 World Cup. The left-arm spinner is part of a 4-man spin attack in India's 15-man squad for the showpiece event, starting June 2 in the USA and the West Indies.
