Despite all the touring GONG undertook in the ’70s, the amount of the Daevid Allen’s ensemble concert recordings from early days is criminally scarce. “Live à Longlaville 27/10/1974” vinyl is a a historic record preserved for posterity in France right after “You” – the closing chapter of the “Radio Gnome Invisible” trilogy. Cuts from You and previous LPs, “Flying Teapot” with Steve Hillage’s monumental “Solar Musick Suite” played by a full Gong line up. This was latterly released 1975, when “Fish Rising” was released.

A slight disappointment. Not that good sound quality, and not that good level of performance (which might be caused by a peculiar events described in the booklet).
Really nice release, sounds great. If you love Gong (like I do), you need this...
