We will be in Tokyo from May 16 to May 20, which falls around the same time as Sanja Matsuri this year. We would like to experience it, but since we’re in town for only 4 days, we only want to reserve 1 day for it. I looked at the schedule online and couldn’t figure out which day is best to go. Do you think we should do Friday or Saturday? We’re leaving Sunday afternoon so we can also go to the Sunday morning ceremony but it doesn’t seem to be as fun as the other 2 days. Also, will there be anything in the evening for a night stroll?
