Charlotte went from a Secretary to Executive Vice President and Director of Manhattan Cable Television, Associate Publisher, and General Manager of Time Inc’s People Magazine, Producer of a CBS television series based on People Magazine People series, and Co-founder of CBS Cable with William S. Paley, founder/CEO of Columbia Broadcasting System. Charlotte Schiff-Booker’s memoir follows her, as she carves her own pioneering path, managing to rise to the top while leading the way for women in not only in the television industry, but in the broader community.
