Montana State University Reviews
Rating 3.68 out of 5 2,453 reviews
I had the worst experience in MSU nursing program. The professors were harassing me. One made me stay after clincals to tell me repeatedly that I’m going to fail and shouldn’t come back next semester. Mind you I had all A’s and B’s, no concern with failing. They weren’t accommodating whatsoever with my chronic illness, instead they made it worse. They put me in a state of depression and anxiety I have never experienced. I ended up having to medically withdraw because of this. I was having panic attacks constantly and started to have SI. It’s unfortunate, as I moved from out of state and was excited for this new adventure. I wouldn’t recommend going here, they aren’t supportive of you and don’t care about you or your success. Don’t waste your time or money going here, go somewhere that will actually try and help you succeed.
I have had a great experience with Montana State University. My first year at a University couldn't have been better. I am so thankful to all of the friends and faculty I have met this year. I like the inclusiveness of the university, my favorite place on campus is the American Indian Hall. It is a home away from home. There I can attend round dances, and traditional dance and song. There is also a sewing room where I learned how to make traditional ribbon skirts and shirts. I like the support I had my first year here at MSU. There is a voice center where I can receive free counseling, I had a great experience with the staff at the MSU voice center. I would like to see the Good Relations program solidified here at MSU. The Good Relations program is a grant funded program that helps first year native american students transition into a University. The students are given a mentors who check in with the students regularly. Most Native American students are first generation students.
