Photograph caption dated May 12, 1959 reads, "Various new facilities both for study and recreation will highlight the new addition to Montclair College Preparatory School, now in course of construction at 18846 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana, it was announced this week by Vernon E. Simpson, owner-director. Montclair prep moved to the Valley last fall from Beverly Hills and the quick favor with which the school was greeted in the Valley necessitated the expansion program. Participating in ground-breaking ceremonies, held recently, were, left to right, Director and Mrs. Vernon E. Simpson; W. M. ('Brick') Neighbors, field secretary to the Mayor, and Arthur W.
