Best. Bowling. Alley. EVER.
My parents moved up to Seattle almost 2 years ago. This bowling alley has become one of our favorite spots. We always have a blast when we come here.
Most bowling alleys are not known for their food. West Seattle Bowl does not fall into that unfortunate stereotype. The food here is SO good!!
I love the wedge salad. I order it with no bacon and I add in vegan chicken. Wait.. I know what you're thinking...vegan chicken... at a bowling alley?? No way! Well not only do they offer vegan chicken, but it is delicious! Some vegan products are dreadful but not the vegan chicken here! I actually cannot think of any other restaurant that even offers vegan chicken as an add-on to a salad.
I told one of the bartenders that I couldn't believe how good the food was and he told me that it a goal of the bowling alley to serve great food. Well, it shows! He also told me that some people come in just for the food; they don't bowl, they just head straight to the dining room. Yep, they even have a separate dining room.
West Seattle Bowl has a full bar and an excellent array of beers on tap.
The bowling staff and bartenders are so nice, attentive, and friendly! You will always see the folks behind the bar with a smile on their faces. - Jennifer S.Seattle, WA2154161/31/2020
My husband and I have been in bowling leagues for the last five years and we love West Seattle Bowl. Great food, friendly staff, and fun getting to know the other bowlers. I've also had a handful of events including: client appreciation, Susan G Komen fundraising, and several birthdays. I really enjoy the music videos & fun atmosphere. Favorite dishes are quesadilla, chicken strips and sweet potato fries, and the rotating monthly specials/Fresh Sheet.

This was a fun bowling alley. Plenty of fun games, good lanes, great prices and well poured drinks.
I would come back and bowl again. Not really in my good, but worth a pit stop. - Trish D.Bellevue, WA01757/27/2019
I'm a beginner and I'm just going to say it - their magical bumper guard system is much appreciated!!
Their drinks AND food were also super delicious! Our group of four noticed they have a breakfast and bowl on Sundays so we've already set a date to return day after tomorrow.
Also, can we talk about the staff? Everyone we encountered was just so nice! Our waitress was helpful and friendly -- checked on us often to see if we needed anything. She deserves 5 stars, too!
See you on Sunday, West Seattle, Bowl! - Jordan N.Renton, WA1031983272/18/2018
Came here for a friend's birthday party and I had a lot of fun! The inside looks new, clean (even the bathrooms!), and modern looking. There are plenty of lanes, food, and booze to choose from. My friend reserved six lanes for us from 3pm-6pm, and I'm assuming it's cheaper to get it earlier in the day rather than later. She ordered fries (both regular and sweet potato), chicken tenders, and these burger sliders. I didn't try the sliders but the other two were really good! I really liked the monitor where your points are posted because it was very simple yet colorful. You can also add/remove players, and edit your name whenever you wanted to (my friends and I probably had more fun with that than we should've lol). The only thing we had to pay for was the shoe rental, which was only $3.
My only suggestion is that they should install some automatic hand sanitizers. I have a small pet peeve about putting my fingers in a bowling ball full of germs and touching my food. I'm sure that they clean their bowling balls, but I still felt a bit gross about that... But I wanted to eat haha. So if they don't want to make that investment, I would suggest everyone bring their own hand sanitizer.
Otherwise, I really liked this place! It's a very fun environment and would definitely go again if I had the chance. I don't live in West Seattle but compared to other bowling allies, I would think this place wouldn't be as busy as Acme or Round 1. - Brian N.Olympia, WA45110/4/2018
To start with, the entire staff from the kitchen, to the bar and last but not least the front desk is the friendliest, most courteous and welcoming staff that I have ever met at a bowling alley. I have never been treated like more of a family than at West Seattle Bowl.
The bar is stocked with almost any kind of alcohol that you would want and the Bartenders are 10x more friendly than anyone in Cheers.
The food is impeccable. The monthly rotating fresh sheets always offer something new and delicious. Not only is the food to die for, but the kitchen staff spends hours each day to prepare fresh food from scratch and will stop at nothing to ensure that the best dishes are available for the center's patrons.
Lastly, the front desk staff and mechanics take care of the entire center like it's their own baby. With the recently replaced pin setters, the lanes are functioning better than any other bowling center I have been at in the last 10 years. They take care of their customers with the utmost respect and courtesy. I have seen many repeat customers return due to the experiences that have been provided by the front desk and mechanics.
For all of the folks that have taken such good care of myself and friends, Jeff, Joe, Mike, Josh, Jason, Joey, Tyler, Aaron, Steven, Jasmine, Jessica, Julie, John, Tom, Zach, Jimmy and anyone else I may have missed, you do an amazing job! - 3483062981/26/2016
West Seattle Bowl is an old school alley with a great bar to chill at while you wait for your lane to open up. I went on a Thursday evening, but there was a bowling league who had the lanes reserved until 9 PM. We left, ate dinner, and came back around 9.
Lanes can be reserved online via their website, so I'd highly recommend going that route, if possible. With 30+ lanes, West Seattle Bowl can accommodate large parties and busy periods. - Nichola U.Newport Beach, CA54852549/22/2018
Fun bowling alley in West Seattle! It has the old time bowling alley feel which I love! Great spot and they have a full bar with a large selection which is always fun.

I have been to WSB over 20 times, but I will not be back and will make sure no one I know goes to this establishment until the below is corrected.
We waited 1.5 hours for an open lane, which is fair for open lanes. But then they kickee us and a single mother with a son off right at the end of our games. With 10 minutes notice! That's not enough to finish a game. Not is it right for open lanes we'd waited for.
We'd just ordered a new pitcher of beer and the single mother had ordered a pizza for her and her son. 2/3 of it was left when she was kicked off the lanes.
I literally walked the remaining pizza to the guys controlling this and they didn't care AT ALL. With 5 more minutes we could have finished our games. No one cared about this at all. We could have ordered less food and beer. None of them cared. At all.
Of course a single mother doesn't fight it against these guys. But it's total rip off.
So I'm fighting this for her.
I don't care about our money ordering more beer. But I do care about a single mother and her evening with her son. She waited appropriately. She paid you. She should not have. You ripped her off. Badly.
Anyone who works at WSB should be wildly ashamed - your paycheck comes from this ripoff of a single mother. Really, you want to work for that?
If a manager shows me WSB has corrected this situation for this single mothet, I will change my review here.
Until then, I'll never go to WSB again and will make sure everyone I know does not go.
I've enjoyed your offerings in the past. Please remedy.Business owner information

Hi BJ,

BJ,
I reached out to you Saturday to get in touch with me, but you haven't yet so I thought I would try to reach out again. Maybe you didn't see my public or personal message that I sent. I came into the bowl Saturday night after your review and spoke with the desk staff and they knew exactly who you were talking about. My understanding is that the "single mom" you are talking about was told before her bowling started that they would have to be done in somewhere between 60-90 minutes and she told the staff it was ok because her son probably wouldn't be able to bowl more than that time anyways. The score printout shows that they completed 2 full games each. I'm not sure about the pizza, but maybe they didn't like it or forgot to get a to-go box when they left. As for your group, my understanding is that you were offered to move to another lane in the facility because we needed the lane you were on and the lane next to you (the "single mom's" lane) for a group who reserved two lanes. Your group declined to move, but your group was given a 20% discount for our error in communication before bowling started. Once again, these allegations of "ripping off single mom's" is a very serious one so I'd like a chance to discuss with you further so that maybe you'd consider "changing your review here". Please reach out to me at jeffs@wsbowl.com. Thank you!

BJ,
I've tried to reach out twice to get this resolved, so I thought I would try one more time. I would definitely like to see this resolved to your liking. Once again, please email me at jeffs@wsbowl.com to discuss further. Again, you said if we came to a resolution that you would remove or adjust this rating. - Nancy T.Seattle, WA7093637/3/2017
Clean and the employees are personable.
I'm really only here on Sunday nights for Quartermania! 8:30 pm. $8 shoes, $.25 games/person, and $1-$2 beers. It's a good time with friends and it's cheap!
I'll be back!
