"Very beautiful, modern hotel. Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds. Nice little balcony, everything perfect. However the hotel is in a poor location, not near anything and everything is a taxi ride away, which takes 10 minutes for a taxi to arrive and costs €10+. The most disappointing part was the advertised complimentary shuttle bus was not operating, so had to pay €25 to reach the airport. Which when not staying at a cheap hotel, its disappointing. Wouldn't return here, lots of other nice hotels in a better location. "

"Bari is a one of my favourite places in Italy. Great weather, food, a vibrant night life and a stunning old town. Its on the coast surrounded by a treasure trove of small towns that are easy to access. Olive Tree has day tours to a number of these places with a great guide for super cheap. The hostel itself is located between the train station and the old town, a 5 minute walk to both. The staff and owner of the hostel are incredibly helpful and friendly. The place is alwayes clean and the free breakfast is perfect. Its also quite small which is good. There is a relaxing terrace as a common area so you can chill. Ask the staff about Rustica a cheap place to eat a range of delicious local food which will blow you away. The price includes 15 varied small dishes a large pizza wine beer drinks desert and an apperative. Couldnt move after that feast. Thanks Olive Tree. Make sure you visit Puglia, Bari and stay at Olive Tree. 10 out of 10 ;-) "
