I saw the amazing Improvising Jane Austen show, and it was so well-acted and clever. The cast was comprised entirely of people who identify or present as women, and they had great timing and chemistry with each other. The wait staff were friendly and seated people quickly and served them drinks and snacks without ever interfering with the audience’s enjoyment. The performance was charming, just the right length, and easily seen multiple times as the casts cycles through and the premise changes each time. The theatre building is easy to fine and everyone there is super friendly.

Saw the Improvised Shakespeare and Whirled News Tonight shows on different nights. Loved every minute of it. Tremendous improv. The complex has multiple stages and runs different shows simultaneously. Fun vibe. Would especially recommend the Shakespeare show to anyone interested in improv comedy or just comedy in general.

The Shakespeare improv is the best! These are a talented group of actors. I have been here several times and I am amazed at how different each show is and how clever and talent the actors are. I have come with family and I have come with friends. I don’t know about you but in the last couple months I could use a laugh. The Shakespeare improv delivers.I have only come for the Shakespeare. I would assume the other shows are equally well done. I have found this is a great event to plan with a group. The tickets are a reasonable $20 plus fees. The bar is reasonably priced and drinks can be brought into the theater. The staff worked with me to see our group of 14 together. They were very nice and helpful. There are restaurants and bars within a block of the theater. We found the theater bar to be perfectly adequate and they serve appetizers to order.

iO has a few spaces with shows running at the same time. There's a central bar that's normally packed between shows. Shows I've seen and recommend: Whirled New Tonight and Improvised Shakespeare.

We had a fabulous time. All five actors were outstanding. Created a Shakespeare-esque production from audience prompts. Outstanding use of language and humor. Amazed at how quickly these actors could think on their feet. Can't wait to go again.

What a fun place! There are several performances in different theaters at the same time so there is a lot of energy here. We saw the Deltones. Part of the show was singing. A very talented group!

Attended the 8 PM show of whirld news in which they ask audience members to cut out articles from recent newspapers and then members of the improv group randomly pull the articles off a bulletin board read the first couple paragraphs out loud and begin improvising comedy sketches. In the second half of the show they take questions from the audience and create improv sketches. very spontaneous and fun.

Went to a Shakespeare Improve show - it was fantastic! Small theatre so everyone is close to the stage. The actors were fantastic.

Had a great time at the improv Shakespeare night.
Well worth your entrance ticket. Very clever guys, working from loose Shakespeare structure filling in the detail with crowd interaction.
Genuinely had me laughing. Very talented crew.

Very talented group of improv actors. Audience participation was a must and the stage did not fail to impress. Very clean act.... some innuendo and the only F bomb thrown out was an appropriate comment. Lots of laughs

You can check with the company, but one day we went at 6 and ate before the show.

Is it better to purchase tickets in advance? Has anyone had problems with getting tickets the night of the show? I'm interested in seeing the Shakespeare improv on a Saturday night and don't know if it would sell out. Thanks!

We got it in advanced and it was a full house. If you know you're going to go, then it is always best to get the ticket in advance just to be safe.
