Epson l355 doesn't work with MacOS sonoma.
I upgraded my mac to a m1 and sonoma and then downloaded the drivers on their page but the machine does not recognize the printer and says no drivers are available. I contacted epson and they said the printer is discontinued and they would not be providing any drivers for it which is odd because they have a drivers download page for the OS and there is a driver there which doesn't work.
Now what do I do?

We are looking for Epson resources that we can add to a subreddit wiki. If you have a list of resources, please modmail them. Any resource helps and we are currently working on the resource wiki. Thank you

What driver version is currently in use? Check your Mac-settings, Printers and Scanners > select your printer > Options and supplies.
IF the driver version is under 10, there is your issue. This printer does not support Airprint, and will not work if the drivers are bad.
In that case, delete your printer from Printers and Scanners, and reinstall it via the software you can download from www.epson.sn.
PS! Sonoma 14.4 is known to break printer drivers, so make sure your OS is up to date.
They have updated drivers for the printer, so it sucks to see that they didn't want to help you...
Currently there is no printer setup. I went to that web site and it doesn't have L355 on the list.
I am running sonoma so I'll make sure I update it. I just need to find the drivers someplace.
Actually you can still find the latest updated driver. Epson just make it difficult for us. I found a working one for macOS Sonoma from the EU support site. https://www.atpeaz.com/latest-epson-l355-driver-for-macos/
