    Very nice ambioance and decor - quiet place although there were quite a few tables booked - great cuisine and service - knowledgeable waiter regarding preparation and various dishes - very courteous - took my girlfriend there for her birthday and we were extremely pleased with the experience. Definitly recommand the place if you want something special and you don't mind the final bill. This being said the price reflect the service and cuisine so nothing to complain about here.

    Obviously, we would only go to Selby for a special occasion due to the cost but $200 per person with NO ALCOHOL is a bit much. However that did include the tip which they automatically add in as many do these days. All of our food was good, service was impeccable. However, our soup came out warm and with all the trouble they go to to make a splashy presentation pouring it at table side. You think it would be hot. the beef Wellington was cooked perfectly. The halibut was just meh a bit dry. The duck was a large portion again cooked perfectly. They have stepped up their game with regard to desserts.

    Once you get passed being asked, no joke, 3 times if: I’ve even there before (I hadn’t), I was celebrating anything (I was, birthday), and talking to me as if I’d never eaten a prix fixe menu, the food was PERFECT!

    Went here for a birthday dinner for my girlfriend. Immediately realized as the car was being valeted the staff was attentive and friendly from the sidewalk and we were in for a treat. I could have brought her here for a proposal. It was that level of beautiful and we had a wonderful experience. Not sure I’ve seen her sit still that long (we were there for appx 3 hours and it felt like half that). We did the 3-course, fixed menu. And a few drinks. Everything was fantastic. Food = incredible (from the quail eggs to the tuna tartar, lobster consumme and all the dessert that we had JUST the right amount to finish) Service = incredible (not sure how I could ask for any better…difficult to describe how staff can be so attentive yet also provide such privacy) Felt like we were in New York. Or in our own little world. Highly recommend for all occasions of note. Let them know ahead of time and there might even be a printed card and a dessert 😉 Thank you, Selby’s!

    The service and setting were both outstanding. But the best part is the food. Fantastic food. Highly recommend.

    Selby’s has a unique dining experience that is very grounded and comfortable. The dishes were very good, I found none that were mediocre. Their wine selection is outstanding!

    A hidden gem with a delectable menu and outstanding service. Our party of 4 was not disappointed by this restaurant. From the little chef bites to the 3 course prix fixe menu, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our server went above and beyond noting that one person in our group was a vegetarian and provided an alternative bread selection since their homemade pop over contained beef. Highly recommended, and worth the value.
