This place is absolutely beautiful. It’s safe very well kept and peaceful. It’s very family oriented with plenty of beautiful photo opportunities. If you are looking for a great place to take a walk, walk your dog or simple just to sit and relax. This park hits all those points and more. A real gem.

Really nice park and trail. Has lots of birds, variety of trees for good bird watching. I saw 6 different varieties today easily without binoculars. Great for dogs, trail walking and has some ponds and a creek.

This park was soooo beautiful! Tons of trails to choose from also w seats for a cool down! It was very clean and family friendly . This was our first time here and it definitely won’t be our last . Duke also enjoyed it , loved that it had a water fountain for him . RR was clean as well .

I live in walking distance of this wonderful park! How lucky am I?! It’s quiet, beautifully maintained, and lots to see- ponds, flowers, wildlife (snakes and even armadillos!) there are usually quite a few people there walking around and I have felt safe walking by myself.

Walking through nature. You can feel the creation of God. Listening to birds chirping. You can add another 30 min if you walk through linear park. You can see the entrance in the pictures. Enjoy nature.

This place has Bluebonnets!!! The trails are wide. The trees are beautiful. The bathrooms are clean. They've got these awesome areas you can bird watch at. My group did a loop and really enjoyed ourselves! We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy.

Very lovely park. A bit comical on the amount of people/families there doing photoshoots during the golden hour but the park was beautiful and it's a pleasant walk.

What an amazing park! So much to see with extensive hiking trails! A lot of great places to do a photoshoot of any variety. Its dog friendly and a very safe park. Don't forget to look for the hidden painted rocks in the area! Also bring a fishing pole incase you get hungry. The blue bonnet fields are absolutely gorgeous

Passed it many times but never got the opportunity to actually check it out even tho I live like only five minutes away until one day it wasn't so hot I decided today is the day and just pulled in spontaneously and glad I did , it was a cute walk thru the trails and on the decks with the bf saw some of nature and it's creatures... People seemed nice enough at the park wish I would've gone earlier to be able to experience the centers the park has to offer but they were closed, next time tho and the restrooms on the way out were very very clean 👌

Great park with walkable trails throughout. Lots of shade so you can enjoy during the summer as well. The Mansfield Parks department frequently does events and classes at the park. I recommend the classes to anyone interested!

Great park to walk with your family and critters. Scenic and informative nature trail. About 2 miles if you follow the unpaved trail/ loop around the park. Dog and owner approved!

This is my favorite park. It’s so well maintained and there are gorgeous wild flowers all around that bloom throughout the year. The pathways are clear and way to walk and there are so many paths, lookouts and spots to enjoy it’s always highly requested by clients!

Perfect place to take your family for a walk in nature, it is dog friendly and has plenty of space on walking trails!

Session passes are well worth it and so is the locker or cooler card for the session. If you go twice it paid for your session pass. My children have a blast and have been pretty much every day since they opened. Park is always clean, staff is friendly and always are nice to the kiddos and chat it up with them which is nice because it gives them smiles and they feel they have friends up there. Food price is fair for a Waterpark. Cabanas go fast on the weekend so be there early or call in advance. Session pass holders can get in 30 minutes early. All in all wonderful place to spend your summer at to get out the heat. Oh and the kids area is pretty big!

Food was served raw. Pay cooler pass instead don't risk your health. Also a hard piece was found in my fries that wasn't a piece of fry. Will not eat here again. The young crowd they have working here isn't considering families health and wellbeing. The cashier did apologize but that's not enough. The place is great for family water fun. That I have nothing negative to say.

I was surprised how much fun it was celebrating the sun fun and water park. This is a great place where you can relax with the entire family. That’s some thing for everyone if you want to lay in the sun, swim with waves, or float the lazy river!

We always have an awesome time when we come. They have 3 different sections for the little ones, lazy river, wave pool, and so many tubes to go down lol.

For the money you pay, this place is run down and waste of money. Not only do you pay to get in, there are hardly any tubes to use. I asked a manager if they had anymore, “oh they pop” was his response- seriously?! Oh if you want a guaranteed one- yes you can pay $15 extra for that too (don’t worry they had plenty of those). It wasn’t even that busy, so you surely don’t want to visit on a busy day the experience would be worse. (Don’t forget to bring $$$ for lockers and over priced food too).

Just visited this park for the first time today 6-4-23 with two younger teenagers and a toddler. It was honestly a lot of fun! We for the added drinks and combo to our ticket and didn’t even need the cooler that we paid a $15 fee for, which was still reasonable. There were very tolerable lines I’m talking 3-5 min wait. The combo that comes with the ticket was very well served. We got the double cheese burger with fries and a drink. The burger only came with cheese but it was quite delicious and big. I ate and fed my toddler and we still had some left. It is a very family friendly park. We’re getting a season pass after our experience today.

Pros: there's a ton of things to do here and there's plenty of staff and lifeguards on-hand, so it seems pretty safe. Membership is affordable. Cons: it can get really busy, there were parts of the park that could have been cleaner, the restrooms were extremely lacking for a park this big and the food service was convoluted. Perhaps some quick grab and go options like at QuickTrip would be a better option. It seemed like a lot of people were waiting around for not so exciting food.

Every time we've been here, something hasn't been working. Most recently it was one set of the body slides and the wave pool. If you're wearing water socks they make you take them off on slides (in addition to hats and glasses). I understand maybe doing that on the super fast drop slides, but the ones where you ride on inner tubes and slow body slides that land in an individual 6 inch deep water pool, your items are not falling off or getting lost. Especially the water socks. Also, on the section of 4 inner tube slides, they had maybe 4 double tubes and 4 single tubes. You had to wait at the bottom forever for a tube, so it took way longer than it should. Overall, it's just an ok park. We go each year once, only because it's on our Pogo Pass, but would not ever go more than once or pay to go.

We had a great time it was our first time at Hawaiian Falls with our new season pass. I have a suggestion for the owner I noticed on the lifevest that it had a detailed chart however it was not color-coded nor were the jackets appropriately named for size I would recommend you get a permanent paint or marker stating or color coding the size for the right jacket I hope you understand what I’m stating but I noticed not just myself but other parents confused on what size to put on their child this can be a safety concern. I also noticed a mouse and there was six women standing on the table screaming I know you probably can’t control it because it is outside in a field so it’s probably a field mice and was attracted to the water that will not deter us we will be back again!!! The staff was very friendly and it’s a good fun family park environment!!

The season passes are around $60 and so worth it! If you go 2-3 times during the summer you would have already paid for a pass. Plus there are plenty of benefits that come with the season pass such as bringing one person free every time, entering a park 30 minutes before the public, and discounts on food. This was our first time here and we loved it! The pools were clean and they had a lot of lifeguards on duty. The outside park was clean however the bathrooms definitely need attention. The food menu is very limited so I advise to get the cooler pass and bring your own food (no fast food). The fruit bar is the best and they have elotes! They have plenty of tables in the shade for families too.

Went on a Friday. Park was not very busy. If we would had gone on a busy day it would had been a terrible experience. Food was slow to come out and I was the only person in the line. They didn't have enough tubes to get on the rides and float the lazy river. They wait too dang long before letting the next person slide down the water slide. You can buy a locker to store your belongings. Burgers were OK but they didn't have lettuce or tomatoes just had cheese. I think more locals attend vs people from out of town.

We had a lot of fun. Wish they had some way to streamline the wait times. We waited for 45 minutes to get on 1 slide. Other than that, park was clean and up to par.

Great, family friendly Waterpark. I love that the pools are shallow enough for my kids to play easily everywhere

Terrible customer service I got a ticket on the December 24 and had to call everyday until January 21 to get any information and still got put on hold to no one ever coming back

Website says office closes at 5pm. They close at 430! Took part of a day off work to see the County Clerk...what a waste of time.

Went there for passport got there like an hour before they close and The security guards in front at the check entrance are very rude they say they’re close when they are not just because they have some people in their that doesn’t mean they close so I insisted to go in and they attended me and not even close to time they close. If you go with plenty of time and they say they are close they are not. They did that to me twice ☹️ the first time lost half day of work took my child out of school early for nothing . Made me Mad after they try doing that the second time 😠

I called multiple numbers that were given to me so I could call and make a payment. Each time I was sent to a voicemail where I left a message asking for them to return my phone call, which they never did. This is very frustrating, because I have a due date for this payment and am paying by card

This people are awesome!!! We couldn’t find any appointments to get our passport done in any post office, we went there and had no idea they do passports!! They took us in with no appointment and got it done super fast and super helpful. Thank you soooo much

I had a great experience with Mary Ann she was very helpful and walked us throughout our passport process she took the time to explain and provided us with the information we needed. The other lady who works there has no costumer service and bad attitude and was no help at all.

I live near Palestine and made the trip twice to get a copy of my divorce papers, i searched the big book and found two different cause numbers and they were unable to find either one. Who looks for these how long do they look and,d and how hard do they look?

I had a good experience at this location 5/2018. I was in & out in 10min. I downloaded & completed the paperwork at home and had photo taken in advance at Walgreens. All I really had to do was drop off paperwork, have it notarized on site, and pay. I couldn't believe it when my passport arrived in only about 10 days. Generally, government workers are not known for customer service but that being the case I thought the staff was cordial.

I chose to go to this location because the Dallas locations are always packed. I kept calling to see if they took passport pictures at this location (like they do in Dallas) but no one would answer the phone. I walk in and there are two ladies seated at the counter, and both just looked at me. I guess that is how they greet customers and let you know they are willing to help. I was disappointed to find out they didn't take pictures on site. Go to CVS to get the pictures . I return, and again the same greeting, just a stare. I guess I interrupted breakfast because they both were eating something that looked like a Poptart. I'm sorry I interrupted your breakfast, and I am even more sorry that I am making you do the job that you chose to work. If I ever need anything else, I will just wait in the Dallas offices. What ever happened to customer service?

I called this morning on the morning of 02/04/2019 and the phone was answered by district court staff of Ellis County, and i hate to speculate, but I'm sure I was hung up on. I began my question to the clerk's office and was followed by a tone. I proceeded to call back, then I was swiftly sent to voicemail repeatedly. These are legal matters that affect the lives of many and if the personnel of this district clerks office doesn't care enough about people's live, they should find another profession. I wish that i could upload the audio to show that I have to motive to fabricate such a claim. This is a court clerks office, not a call center. These people have no business presiding over important legal matters of other individuals lives if they are just to answer the inquiries of people within this county, just do your job. Trust me, I wouldn't call this court if i didn't have to. Awfully rude, they can be with lack of professionalism and integrity in what they do.

Fantastic local museum featuring history and artifacts from Ellis County. The museum is free and accepts donations, which makes it accessible to all. Staff is friendly and helpful, and you can go at your own pace and explore without a rush. Great for adults and kids alike. Also has a local gift shop which is great for locals and visitors- don't forget to ask the staff for recommendations on what's happening downtown or great places to shop & eat!

Our family loves the Ellis County Museum! Michelle and the volunteers are great and although we have been visiting for 10 years, we always walk away learning something new!

This museum has an assortment of exhibits that will appeal to all ages. Baseball, vintage clothing, War artifacts and great gift items. A must to visit while in Waxahachie.

My husband & I were pleasantly surprised at the depth of information in this museum. The gentleman that volunteered was very helpful and friendly. The the vast amount of Ellis County's cotton industry was surprising and very informative. I enjoyed the authentic dresses which was on displayed. We loved the Veteran's display. When the remodel is completed this museum will be a 5 star museum, in my opinion.

We went to see if we could find out anything about our new 'old' Victorian and Shannon, the owner, helped us find out that our address has actually changed 4 times! He showed us the historical surveys and the slides of our home! But best if all, he gave us tips on where to go and what to do to find out more! Just this little bit of information has helped us out so much and we can't wait to find out the entire history of our beautiful home! So, thank you, Shannon, very, very much!

This museum was a treasure trove of information about Waxahachie and Ellis County. I learned a lot about the county, and its history during The Great War and WWII. The women manning the desk were very helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent place to go to learn of the history of the place

Enjoyed our first visit to this winery. Great venue for casual gatherings. We walked the nature trails and managed to get lost! Be sure to pick up a trail map before endeavoring your walk! As we we leaving, musicians were setting up to play. We had other plans so couldn’t stay. Lots of cars were coming in so we will plan that in the future. My only recommendation is to chill the white wines a little more. My two glasses were not cold.

What a lovely winery! Super friendly staff (always such a plus right up front)! The wines followed up in the same vein…delicious. We are dry wine drinkers and those are what we sampled. Not disappointed. The grounds were expansive with loads of seating options: inside, covered outside and under the trees outside. AND pet friendly!! Gabriel (our adventure kitty) was welcomed with open arms. Definitely worth the stop, or the detour! We will be back.

A friend of mine suggested we meet somewhere new that neither of us had visited before. We live in different cities, so we try to find a halfway point to meet up and visit with each other. I'm so glad she found Lost Oak Winery! We both had a flight (she tried the dry whites, and I tried the dry reds). Jessica was our lovely host for the tastings. We bought a bottle of the Estes, which seemed perfect for a spring day, a charcuterie tray, and a couple of wine glasses (no, you don't have to buy the glasses, we just wanted to). We headed outside to a table down by the water. Everything was perfect! We enjoyed sitting under the shade trees, drinking wine, enjoying some tasty food, and catching up with each other. I told my husband I want to take him there for a date. :)

Lovely venue with a nice variety and friendly service. The muscat was not as sweet as I would have hoped for, but it was nice and smooth. The outside environment is very accommodating for different entertainment and relaxing options. I see why it's a favorite to a family member.

Delightful place to taste wine, stretch legs, and let the kids run. We were on our way to meet up with friends before heading to the airport, looking for a place to kill time when we spotted this place on the map. They have 3 tasting menus (including a red/white mix); I tried the sweets and my husband tried the reds. All of my wines were good & we left with a nice hostess gift. The kids had Capri-Sun's and meat/cheese snacks, ran through the vines sneaking a taste of unripe grapes, and chilled under the porch misters. The tasting room & bathrooms have AC. The turn for this place isn't quite where Google maps has it - watch for signs & CR 802.

We used Lost Oak's event space for our wedding, and it was perfect! We had a smaller crowd, but you could definitely fit a ton of people in this venue, but with that being said our wedding with about 44 guests didn't feel empty in the space. The way they set everything up and spaced the tables made the room feel just right! Cayla our event coordinator was SO helpful, she always responded to emails quickly and she really helped to make our day perfect! I also highly recommend getting the unlimited wine and cocktails! It was a great value and our guests loved getting to try all the different cocktails, and wines!

We love coming to Lost Oak! Great wine, paninis and wonderful workers. It is so relaxing to sit and chill out with some wine.

Amazing venue for my husband's 50th Surprise Birthday Party! They were super helpful coordinating everything and helped in any way they could. Staff was very professional at the event and were there to assist with anything we needed. Plus the place is beautiful and the wine is perfect 🍷

We had a lovely day at lost oak. The property is gorgeous. The wine was fabulous. We had a great tour with Michele and even got to meet the wine maker. I don’t expect much from Texas wineries but this wowed me. Here are some pics of the tanks, I love that the appreciative wine maker has given them all hilarious personalities. I wish it was closer to Plano but we will be back—lots of fun activities here and dogs are welcome any time!

I had never been here but learned about an 80s theme dance night and decided to go. The place was packed. The event was well organized. There were food trucks and the wine service was super friendly. I wasn’t sure which wine I wanted, so they let me taste a few whites (my go-to) to find which one I liked. The white orange wine was my favorite. The music and DJ was AWESOME! Everybody was having a blast.

This is a late review, but we attended Lost Oaks’ 80’s party last month. The DJ and Mr. T impersonator were amazing. They also had two food trucks and my family had a wonderful time. This is 3rd year in a row we’ve attended the 80’s party and the weather was beautiful for this event. The only thing I’d recommend is more vendors, we love local vendors.

This was me and my husband's second visit here and we absolutely love it. The wine is nothing short of amazing and the staff is so incredibly friendly. You really feel like you know everyone. We can't wait to come back!

Today was better than when we brought our family here. We enjoyed 3-4 tastings of dry reds. And ended up bringing home 2 bottles of red wine. Good service, and yummy charcuterie board. Good for about 3 people. I always like the ambiance.

This female helped us and she was beyond kind and attentive to us and understanding it was our first time trying wine wish I would’ve got her name but we will definitely be very inexpensive in the atmosphere, as a whole is just a vibe.

We love the Plaza! This theater is by far, the best around! Amazing talent - both singing and acting are good. Great seating, no matter where you sit. Not a bad seat in the whole theater! My husband and I have been season ticket holders for several years now and we look forward to the variety of shows. It's family friendly, so we even take our kids (ages 10, 8 and 5) with us to some of the shows. Would highly recommend the Plaza Theater.

Great performances! Before Covid hit I took my special needs son to see School House Rocks and we had a great time. He really enjoyed himself. All the staff is so friendly.

Plaza Theater is AMAZING! The work they do with special needs kids is beyond words! So heart touching and fulfilling. Each actor/actress have put in so much work and it shows in a great way. Definitely will be going back to see another show!

We enjoyed a scenic drive to the brewery on a Saturday in November. They have plenty of space in the sun and in the shade. Lots of room to spread out. Their beer taste even better fresh from the source. You get 6 beers and should definitely start with their flagship beer - Blood and Honey.

Although Revolver is more of a destination brewery for anyone living in DFW, it's worth Saturday afternoon visit. For $15, you get 6, 8 ounce pours of any of the 30 or so beers/selzers on tap. A lot of them you can't get in stores. You get to keep the glass. They have semi indoor and outdoor seating, with live music and a food truck. It was a fun time for my friends and myself.

My husband and I traveled from Kansas to visit and absolutely loved it! We had a blast and the staff was very friendly. The food truck was fantastic and the prices for the wristbands and food was very reasonable. The only complaint I would have is that their merchandise wasn't fully stocked so we didn't end up purchasing any clothing, when we very easily would have, and with tasting all the lovely beers they had to offer, I expected them to have their canned beers for sale - which they did not. We would have easily purchased multiple cases of beer since living in Kansas we get limited supply.

Too bad it’s only open 1 day a week (Sat) or we’d go more often.for $15 you can drink 6 beers! And they had live music. There was a food truck that had some fire nachos! One thing that we really liked was we got one bracelet for the 6 beers and 2 pint glasses that you get to keep, for $20… my husband and I shared the bracelet and each had 2 beers on draft, and shared a prickly pear ranch water. We didn’t use one of the beers.. but it was an excellent deal. We liked the beers! Cool place to hang out at too!

If you are looking for clear blue skies and a great place to drink Texas beer, look no further than Revolver Brewing in Granbury. They are only open to the public on Saturday afternoons, but it is worth the wait. Patrons over 21 pay $15 for a souvenir cup and 4 to 6 sample pours depending on the time of arrival. The beer is tasty and it is a fun atmosphere with live music. Several shaded pavilions available for large parties. Dogs are permitted in the outdoor areas.

So happy to finally have made it out to their brewery! Very Large property, nicely set up for visiting and great outdoor area with food truck , music stage and games. Beer of course was great and I had fun talking with the staff about the brewery. Looking forward to going back.

We had the best time! The beers are great as expected but the standout was the service of everyone working at revolver. From the entry to the folks pouring the beers to the retail, everyone is just wow factor helpful and nice. The live music was a treat. I will be back to bring more friends and family.

Epically huge brewery, perfect for a family picnic. Every $10 glass to keep comes with four short pours of their best options - always Blood and Honey, but also plenty of brewery-only options. Way out there, so plan for a trip. Barbecue table was set up on a recent Saturday.

Very open grounds with room for kids to play and service is extraordinary! $10 will get you a nice glass and 4 fills +any number of tastings. The staff are very helpful and there is a live band. Food available on sight.

We were there for a surprise birthday party. They served a BBQ buffet. Brisket was so so. Chicken was dry in the center. Potato salad basically was boiled red skin potatoes cut up and put in a bowl. Very tasteless. Coleslaw was cabbage and carrots and celery ground up with virtually no dressing. The beans was the best part of the meal. My advice is don't have a dinner event there. The meal definitely was not worth the 33.09 per person that the family had to pay

Fantastic get away, the staff is excellent, a great place for a young family as the ranch is made up like a yOld West town. I stayed in the bunkhouse which was small but comfortable. They do offer individual rooms which I would prefer on my next visit. Quiet & peaceful.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Dallas and the experience exceeded all of our expectations! From Casey at the reception to the owner who gave us a very nice tour, we enjoyed our short stay. The ranch is huge and has plenty of activities to try. The cabin was very quaint and the beds were comfortable. Some of the best hospitality I've ever received!

I absolutely love going out here for my highlights...Donnela is just a precious woman and I have come to look forward to seeing her each time I go. The wait time for scheduling is exceptional and she always fits me in super fast; this past time she made room for me with a days notice. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work she does both in cuts and highlights that I've been getting in the past few years there. Finding the place the first time is really a matter of trusting your GPS lol... But I love the drive I think it's so beautiful out there.

Such a great weekend getaway! Pretty much had the place to ourselves due to the time of year. Scott did a great job of assisting us with clay pigeon shooting, and Natalie was an awesome trail ride guide. Highly recommend for a country-themed vacation!

Overnight stay while driving cross-country. We may not have seen the Ranch at its best. We were the only guests staying that night. Office not staffed when we checked in at 6:00 pm but room keys, map and payment receipt waiting for us upon our arrival. We were the only guests on the property for the night. When driving down to the cabin area, we did meet one staff person. He led us to our cabin and provided ice for us. We appreciated that! Our cabin was decorated in the theme of the Old West. 4-poster bed and big rolltop desk. Bathroom with clawfoot tub (no shower) and toilet with tank above it near the ceiling. Good AC unit, nice satellite TV and good WiFi reception. No bedside lamp on the bedside table on one side of the king bed. The housekeeping needs to be improved. Our cabin (room plus bathroom) needed a good deep cleaning. Dusty baseboards, dusty framed pictures hung on the walls, and dusty ceiling fan blades. The window curtains dragged on the floor by the door, and when we moved them, several small live spiders ran out from underneath! Our bathroom sink did not have any hot water-when you turned on the hot water faucet-nothing came out! We did not try the tub so am unsure if that had hot water. We also had an empty container of liquid soap in the bathroom. We do not plan to return due to the fact the room and service quality did not match the price we paid for the room.

The Ranch is quaint and rustic. The sites and scenes are beautiful. I suggest packing bottled water and a few snacks. The food is good. The bar was nice for after retreat drinks.

Loved this cute area with historical shops. It was perfect for the POW WOW. We will be back

Amazing experience for the whole family. They host Easter Egg Hunts for the kids(big&small), the have vendors and food trucks during events. And when they're not hosting events, it's still a very nice museum to learn about history.

On Saturday I forged steel using a teeny tiny hammer at Chisholm Trail Museum with amazing instructors and staff. The complex looks great after the clean up and so with so many historic sites and items to view this is a great afternoon local Outdoor escape for the family! Absolutely beautiful location. Wonderful historically, proven artifacts on site. Amazing reenactments knowledgeable people board of trustees truly care about the preservation of Johnson county, Texas history.

We happened by this place on chance and had a wonderful time. They have horse rides for little ones and trail rides for teens and adults. Lots of museums, blacksmith working, real old time jail cells, and a small little 1800s town to walk through. We will go again.

I love this place! I was just there for a PowWow and really enjoyed it! They have the Big Bear Museum, a working blacksmith shop, a big teepee, an old jail, and so many other things to see! The people that work there are so friendly! You'll learn about history and also see and appreciate this gorgeous location with its tall and beautiful trees! I'll definitely be back!

This is an awesome find! It is a fantastic combination of learning about all of our sorted and interesting pasts. With live people carrying our messages forward. Humanity and mother nature all beautifully rolled into one spot!

If you have a chance this is a historical place worth stopping in. History about the Chisholm Trail and some very interesting historical items from Native American Tribes. The staff was very informative and knowledgeable on the history of a town from a bi-gone era that no longer exists.

We went with a homeschool group and absolutely loved our guided tour! The stories and facts told from each character there was really cool. I loved the gifts in the shop, very affordable and so unique. Every person there was so nice and so knowledgeable. Very much recommend!

Yes, this is a must go. People are awesome. We did find out there is a venue for wedding, parties and meetings. Wish there was larger variety stuff for sale. The Teepees didn't have anything but two logs. Wished there were people to speak with in some of the building. Parking was great. Restrooms nice and clean. We will go back for other social events they have a few dates for chilli cooking contest. They have a few reenactments coming soon. See ya there. Was a good museum also. So ya put on walking shoes and bring your pup (on leash at all times and remember to clean up after them😉) they are dog friendly.

The lady in charge thinks she is a warden saw some people working community service . I heard her screaming at the poor people . Let's call her a Karen . If the state of Texas finds out she will be in so much trouble . The way I saw it she was acting like a racist. If this people were criminals but they aren't I think she needs a reality check it can be her on other side of the law . Then karma can do the job.

Hillsboro is a great town to spend a few minutes or a few hours if you are traveling. The courthouse is beautiful. They were decorating for Christmas when we went through. Had a walk around the square in the rain and captured some interesting photos. Don't rush through these smaller towns, they are full of history, great people, and interesting stops. Get off the main road and discover Texas.

This beautiful French inspired courthouse in Hillsboro is worth the 5 extra minutes off I35 to go see. If you need to make a pit stop, head to the bathrooms in the basement.

Water has been draining from the courthouse to the corner of Elm and Franklin, next to the closed down Landry mat for weeks nonstop. Now there's algae growing there and it's super slippery and dangerous. Last time I walked over there I slipped and almost headbutted the telephone poll there. I caught myself, but for someone older that's something truly dangerous. Tried to call courthouse maintenance and they wouldn't answer the phone. A building across the street shouldn't make the sidewalk so unsafe.

One of the most beautiful county courthouses I have ever seen. I had driven by on I-35 countless times before finally getting off to have a look. What a jewel, hidden in plain sight.

I visited it during off season(January). Amazing fort with replica buildings and period correct artifacts. During tourist season they have reenactment programs that would be very interesting and would have earned 5 star rating. Check their website for dates. It was still worth the drive, just make sure you access the fort via hwy 14(NE entrance)

Seeing the old, recreated fort was nice. The visitor center/ gift shop area gives it the low marks. They only take cash. They had a few postcards and sold used paperbacks. I was hoping for a book on Cynthia Ann Parker and her family but no.

We participated in a Living History event and Old Fort Parker was a great host. A must stop for people wanting to learn about 19th century Texas history.

We love stopping here when camping at nearby Fort Parker State Park. Love the history & that you can go inside the fort and it's structures to tour it all. Take cash!! They do not accept card payments for entry fees!

Now if you love Tx history. You have to vist this site. It's a near perfect recreation of the Fort. There has been books written and movies made about this.

Great place to visit!!! I started reading Empire of the Summer Moon and was very curious to see the Parker Fort. My kids loved walking through the fort/houses and the watchtower! The admission is reasonable, however CASH only. The man said they were working on a card system and hoped it would be up and running in a few weeks. The grounds are beautiful! The people who run it are very nice! There are NO ' not touching' signs in the gift shop but the people will let you know not to touch anything if you do. Would recommend visiting in the spring/fall/winter. Watch for poison ivy out front of the entrance and out back through the low gate of the fort. We will definitely be visiting again when the weather cools a little.

Great place to stretch your legs and explore. The fort seems to be well taken care of. The office/gift shop is being renovated so not much to see there.

Spending 13 days filming The Quanah Parker Story here in TX this was our final film location. The Parker Fort replica is incredible to see when you know the historical significance of the fort. The park is $5 and has plenty of parking. We asked prior to flying a drone for footage. The Quanah Parker arrow is now in place at the entrance of the fort road. Bring water during spring and summer months it gets hot. Kid friendly and I feel should be encouraged so our youth can understand the times that aren't that far behind us and how lucky we are to be in the 2023s and not 1800s Check our YouTube & IG for footage from our upcoming film project The Quanah Parker Story

We went on a cold cold day in January but the folks at the visitor center were very warm and inviting. We toured the fort and if you’re at all interested in Texas history you need to go. So worth the trip and time.

The highlight was the small, but very nice exhibit about the Horn Shelter (Paleo-American excavation site.) Also includes the area's Norwegian history, and geologic record. Plus a well curated collection of Bosque art. When we arrived we were told the first Saturday of the month is free; donations appreciated. Great county museum.

A surprisingly well-rounded museum with exhibits ranging from extensive collections of fossils, Native American arrowheads and implements, and a recreation of the Horn Shelter excavation, an important though little-known ancient burial place. Other exhibits include settlement living in the 1800's, antique firearms, and lots of Norwegian artifacts. Well-informed staff made everything even more enjoyable.

It is always a treat to visit this museum. Christmas decorations were wonderfully done. Huge Nutcrackers adorned the rooms. Excellent exhibits and artwork by many local artists! So much to see and read, youll want to add this tobyiur must see list and olan on staying a couple of hours or return again and again. Shout out to Bruce Greene! Talent given by our Lord Jesus Christ!

Great local history museum in Bosque. Lots of pioneer items and fossils to peruse. Even has a gift shop. The lady at the counter was a real joy to talk to.

This is one of the best museums I have visited in central Texas. Each room is nicely organized and presented. Loved the cave discovery presentation, all the old artifacts from the first settlers of the area, and the cute little free library at the entrance of there building. Highly recommend a visit to this museum.

Interesting information about the history of the early settlers of the area as well as the archeological findings close by. Nice collection of early 1900s artifacts.

This is a really neat site. Our tour guide was great and shared so much about the history and significance of this place. I definitely recommend stopping here. Where else can you see an active (though not being actively worked on) dig site? The gift shop was great too. Specifically the minerals they have for sale. So many different ones to choose from. Great prices too, anywhere from a couple bucks to a couple hundred, depending on the type and size.

This is fairly young park compared to other national parks. Its small but the main attraction is presented well. Its wheelchair friendly and there are trails for folks who like to exolore. Very small fee but it helps maintain the park.

This place was simply amazing! I went here curious about the past and left with so much knowledge and amazing crystals! The tour guide was so sweet and you could tell she was passionate and truly cares about her job. They have a store inside that has some of the most beautiful crystals I’ve ever seen and they are VERY well priced! 10/10, can’t wait to visit again!

My son and I really enjoyed this day trip! Really interesting to see and to hear the tour guide tell of all the fun facts. Great family outing!!! A must for locals, and tourists will find it a treat. The area is quite beautiful and lush, being on the Brazos River area. Easy to imagine these giants roaming around. Other animal bones, such as giant tortoises, camels, and some they're not sure, are there too. Great day!

Okay so bathrooms only available near the parking lot. It’s not a far walk to the place. I have a 3 because I just was expecting it to be more educational. Kid friendly. There’s a sand digging box at the top near parking lot. Paths are paved & easy. No wait on a weekend. Buy tickets up front that they do check for before you can see the bones. I also thought there’d be more bones in one location but each one was not individually marked so it was hard to tell where all 22 were.

Great experience! Very informative tour and the climate controlled dig site was a treat from the heat! The gift shop items were reasonably priced and there is an activity tent for the kids and a sand box where kids can dig for their own fossils. I recommend bringing them in sandals and an extra set of clothes for afterwards. They also have a hiking trail you can do. Beautiful place to visit!

I think entry was free but if you wanted the guided tour of the site then it was a minimal charge, maybe $5.00 and well worth it. The rangers were excellent. I purchased a lot of interesting items in the gift shop too. Lots of great learning toys for kids. Wish the tee shirts were of a softer material. Only a short drive from downtown Waco and well worth the visit.

Awesome place to visit with kids. The dig sight was very cool to see, and the tour guide had a lot of information to share about the history. Plus, it's indoors after a short walk! Casey was awesome at the sales table, he was friendly and chatted with my kids about their experience. Another park ranger was a huge help when my youngest fell and scraped her knee, I don't recall her name, but she was quick to give my child first aid and helped calm her down.

Really cool exhibit showing an archaeological site of ancient mammoth remains. I don’t remember the tour guides name but she was excellent; very knowledgeable and funny too. Definitely worth the $6 and there are some small walking trails too.

First off; do the tour! The guides will tell you what you’re looking at and they make the experience. Anyone who is remotely interested in fossils will enjoy this site. The bones you’re looking at are real; they are being dug out of the ground. It’s an active dig site so if you come back later they may have new info for you! The whole area is easily accessible for anyone. There’s a short walk, but no stairs and it’s all paved; and if you think it’s too far you can ask about the shortcut from the parking lot. The walk is through the woods which is beautiful to see as well. Overall I’d highly recommend coming here and seeing this fascinating site.

This was a really fun national monument and I highly recommend visiting if you're in the Waco area. I was here for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 and the rangers did a great job facilitating the event. They gave out free eclipse glasses and kept the crowds under control while being friendly and informative. The ticket for the dig site was $6 and you get to see mammoth fossils still preserved in the ground. The rangers there were happy to answer questions as well. They've also got some hiking and nature trails in the park too. 5 stars!

You can have a nice walk and beautiful mammoth 🦣 visit to the monument! Definitely a worth visit! My childhood dream of seeing mammoth 🦣 has been fulfilled 😇😁☺️ There are many beautiful stones you can purchase at the souvenir shop and got some stuffs! I’m happy and content! This was a great stop with some fun stuff to check out during the Fall Fossil Festival. The staff was super friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and golf carts to shuttle you if needed from the overflow parking lot. Pricing is very reasonable for the tour and the items for sale. Lots of info given and interactive things for the kids to do from clotting to digging to helping out with shifting through actual dig sure material to help them find micro fossils. The had pumpkin painting, meet and greet with live camels and even had truck out yet buckets for kids to pick a treat from.

If you have seen the movie ice age and wondered if you will be seeing a real mammoth then you are at the right place. It’s really exciting to think that the fossilized remains that we can see here in the digging site was a real mammoth from ice age. Other than the fossil there is a trail where you can take a short hike. This place also has a picnic spot and restrooms however the restrooms are inside the welcome center. Admission for adults is $6 and only required if you want to visit the dig shelter but you can roam around rest of the park for free. Plenty of parking spots available and you can park your RV either.

I just loved my visit. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. The bones were amazing to see. The signage was excellent. The vibe was so cool I want to get my degree in whatever I'd need to study so I can work here! What a cool place. Go see some wooly mammoths! (And skip the awful natural history museum.)

It’s a must visit place for those living in waco. This place is nice historic and well maintained. The fossil was discovered by two men in 1978 and then upon the realization of the importance of the Mammoth’s fossil this place was made a dig shelter. The museum is under the national park services and was opened for people since 2009. It’s a good place to visit with little kids and to learn about mammoth and history. This area also has hiking trail and picnic area. You should buy tickets from the visitor center and then follow directions to the dig shelter. You will also find souvenirs to buy in the visitor center.

Highly recommed a visit to this location. The guides were so informative. We had a group of people ranging in age from 90 to 9 and everyone loved it!

Great little spot to kill an hour or so. Very interesting guided tour with informative and helpful guides. Pretty neat to be able be so close to the real thing instead of mock ups in a museum! Yes it costs just a bit to see, but they go to pretty extensive lengths to preserve the actively studied site.

Really loved this stop on our Texas road trip. Very interesting information about the Columbian Mammoth. You also get to see the actual fossils and the excavation process. Josie was our guide and did an excellent job. 6 dollars per person for the tour.

Showed up at 9am on a weekday and got a tour with just me and another person. Fairly short and not too many artifacts, but lots of information. Our tour was about 35 minutes since we had some questions. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The gift shop was reasonably priced.

Very unique park located in Waco. $6 per adult. The gift shop at the entrance hosts the restrooms. Tickets can also be purchased at said gift shop. A tour is included if wanted, or the park can be seen without the tour. If you decide to go on the tour, don't lose your ticket as they will ask for it when you go into the excavation site.

Very fun and informative! They have some of the actual fossils found there and you can look from the same room. Tour tickets are only $6 per adult. Lots of fun souvenirs in the gift shop. They also have replicas you can get closer to or touch. Guides are very knowledgeable about it. This is a newer exhibit that is still growing and they are learning about the fossils more all the time right now. Keep in mind there is really only one small site to see, mostly you are there long enough to learn about what you're looking at. The guide is good because I wouldn't know what any of the bones were if I was looking by myself. Definitely recommend for a quick stop! Seem to be starting tours very frequently. You have plenty of time to take pics and ask questions.

This is an active dig. The real thing! A fun gift shop and sand box for the kids to pretend they are digging for bones. The tour was perfect in length. The tour flow is great. Wait time for next tour 5-15 mins, gift shop, sand box, a 10 min walk along a path through a lush forest, tour guides are informative and humorous, ending up in an air conditioned beautiful pavilion that protects the active dig. Stunning!

This is such a great and fun excavation center! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They have documentaries on while you wait for a tour to start, and they sell various items to fund the park. We bought a magnet and a stuffed animal. The prices are a bit high, but they are normal for tourist attractions. Their gift shop sells some nice souvenirs, and they have imported rocks. They are right off the highway and have a bathroom, which is nice and convenient. There weren't many people when we went there, but that was midday on a Monday, so don't take that to heart. The cost was very low, and we learned a lot. Hopefully, they can attract more people. I only wish they were doing some excavation, as there were many cool bones/skellingtons I would love to see uncovered. Overall, a 5 star attraction.

Overall, a nice small museum with real mammoth bones still in their location, uncovered. $17 for 2 adults and kid age 4 and 2 year old (free). My girls enjoyed digging up bones in the dirt and asking why the mammoths died. Short 5 min paved walk to the museum from the parking lot - stroller friendly.

Great National Monument park hidden away in Waco. Tours run every half hour, the dog site had a building built around it, air conditioned and protected. The tour guide was friendly, funny, and very informative. Even my preteen admitted it was very cool! Cute gift shop at the top, with free kids mini dig site, that my toddler loved. We spent about 2 hours here, and had a wonderful time at very low cost!

It was awesome! A must visit at Waco. It gives us good information on the mammoths. I definitely recommend the tour as you know what you are looking at. Otherwise it might just be a bunch of bones. The guide was humorous , informative and very helpful. He explained it clearly. They also have a cute little gift shop and so many things to choose from. Just a reminder. No cafe or eatables. Definitely a great place to visit.

This was way beyond my expectations!! I’m not sure why but I thought it would only be a couple of mammoth bones, not as many as I got to see today 😃 The other animal bones made it feel surreal, the feeling of how different our environments were back then to here I am standing right above so much natural history. I really enjoyed this and need to come back with more time. They have informational tours, I visited on a whim so unsure of the times for those. Ours was at 3:30 then they had another coming up at 4:15 but I was unable to stay. Wait time was less than 10mins (way less) and I did not see an option to pay online just when you get there.

We really enjoyed this zoo. It was laid out very well. You can tell the animals are cared for here. Their environments were clean and the animals looked healthy. They had lots of items in their habitat that kept them busy. We went in the morning when it was cooler and that was fun since they were feeding the animals. The kids really enjoyed the slide that goes through the water in the otter habitat. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The zoo is really shaded and nice. I wish they had an interactive map. I had to call multiple times to find out if they had Cheetah at the zoo and no one seemed to know and everyone was giving me different responses. At the zoo when I inquired about the Cheetah they sent me to the Tiger :-) some staff members were new so I guess that's alright. Someone from the gift shop was very helpful and they went out of their way to help me over the phone to get me to Cheetah.

What an incredible zoo. I didn't know what to expect since it is a bit smaller town. It is so well kept and taken care of. All the animals seemed very well kept, they were very active and had quite large habitats. We got to see the African elephant come down to the water area right in front of the fence and take a bath, spent about 30 minutes with the orangutan because they came and sat right in front of me and followed be around to different parts, and really looking forward to the new penguin exhibit they are building.

Love this zoo! We brought our youngest sons here when they were little and now we get to share it with our grandbabies. There have been a few updates since we were here 10 years ago but overall it was nice to share a similar experience. We also ate at the food court. It would be nice to see some updates to this area. Lines were long and although service was friendly the options are limited.

This was a good zoo. We wish there were more animals. It seemed like they may have been doing renovations since a lot seemed empty or closed. We loved all of the shaded areas and how beautiful the layout is. This is a great place for families. Remember to bring your water bottle as they have plenty of places to fill up. We'll worth the price.

A nice, small zoo with plenty of shade and several inside exhibits to enjoy. The exhibits were small and some of the animals looked sad, but it was 100+ degrees outside, so we all kind of looked sad. Several of the exhibits were missing animals, including the giraffes, which was a bummer. My kids enjoyed the splash pad and playground, but the slide was super slick and my kids go hurt sliding down so quickly.

We went to see the new baby giraffe. Mom and baby were bonding and kept inside. We did get to see and congratulate dad from a distance. The zoo trail is very well organized. I wish they had a map....we got lost at some point not knowing where on the maps we were and how many more stops til the giraffes. The trail has a great mixture of outer and inner exhibits. We are able to escape the heat. We took pictures of the markers throughout the adventure to keep track. It's a great walking course with measured symbols on post so you know how far you've walked. We walked for approximately 2 hours, and arrived back at the entrance shortly after 5:15p.

My wife and I spent a day of shenanigans at the Cameron Park Zoo. I have lived in Texas most of my life and never have been here to this beautiful zoo. Better late than never! We had a wonderful time and matter of fact if you live within Texas and/or planning a getaway vacation I highly recommend this zoo as it's very similar to the world renowned San Diego Zoo with all of its hilly and wooden pathways and buildings. I have been there twice and the Cameron Park Zoo brought back many cherished memories as the orangutan inclosure not included in all of the photos and video is exactly the same as the one at the San Diego Zoo.

I recently visited Cameron Zoo, and it was a wonderful experience. The presence of African animals added an exotic touch to the zoo, creating a unique and engaging atmosphere. The facility was impeccably clean, enhancing the overall enjoyment of our visit. My daughters particularly loved walking through the zoo, and the highlight for them was discovering a slide inside the otters' tank. It brought immense joy to see them having a blast interacting with the playful otters. Cameron Zoo is a fantastic place for families to explore and create lasting memories.

We took our grandchildren here for the weekend. It exceeded our expectation as we have traveled and been to larger cities zoos. Price, all the different animals, plenty of shade ,well kept area and very informative. We definitely enjoyed it and will return.

What an awesome zoo for young kids. We loved every minute but the highlights were the big cats and the otter slide. Also note the coffee from the food truck just inside was really good. We will definitely be back

Wow! The setup is great for visitors and animals. The habitats are nice and clean for the animals. The walkways are mostly shaded making summertime visits so much more pleasant, with lots of vending machines and benches for breaks, and plenty of clean restrooms. We had lunch near the splash pad. The indoor exhibits were air conditioned and odor-free. The entire area is covered with trees so shade is plenty. They even have strollers for kids and mobility vehicles for adults at the entrance to the park. We took our time walking through the zoo, spending around 4 hours, that includes a stop for lunch. For me, this is the nicest zoo in Texas! The kids loved every minute of it. We'll be back soon!

We took our son to Cameron park zoo for his very first zoo visit! At first we were worried about the heat with our 11 month old but there are plenty canopys, indoor cooled exhibits to visit along the whole zoo. We were also very grateful for the nursery pods, playground and splash area for a good spot to stop and decompress. It was very quiet and not too busy, food truck options and a cafe(we didn’t check out). A lot of the habits could be easily seen from the walking paths so it was easy to see the animals up close. We live an hour away but will most likely visit again!

We spend our afternoon in Cameron park zoo Waco Texas and it was definitely worth it. They have lots of exhibits and all the animals, birds, reptiles are so fun to watch. Definitely bring your kids here. Worth the prize. Takes about 3 to 4 hours if you want to spend at least 5 to 10 mins in an exhibit. The only negative I have to say is about the cafe. It was horrible. They only serve pizza as whole and not by slice. The pizza also tasted horrible. It was not good. They dont have many options either for vegetarians other than cheese pizza or grilled cheese. I mean I wish we got it by the slice. Rest of it was really good.

We loved this zoo. Maybe because it was a quiet Monday after the rain, but also because you can do a loop from start to finish. We really had such a great time and my kids wanted to stay longer which is always a great sign.

We love the zoo. We go all the time. I got a pass and we use it to go most weekdays, even if it’s just for a few minutes. It’s a safe place to walk with the kids, all stroller friendly, lots of shady paths. Very convenient.

Fun zoo, lots of space but thought there would be more animals. My family drove from the DFW area and the first issue we encountered was parking. We arrived around 12:30 pm on a Sunday, so if you are traveling with anyone that might have a little trouble walking I recommend getting there right when they open to get a handicap spot. My parents are both handicapped and we ended up having to park about a block and a half away from the zoo entrance and walk. It's a large zoo, you basically walk in a big circle but large sections were closed due to remodeling. We did see giraffes, one elephant, two rhinos, three giant tortoises, two female lions, a few orangutan monkeys, a capybara, a bald eagle, lots of birds, and a few other types of animals! It was a great visit just for the size of the zoo in my mind we were going to see more. There is a nice play area for toddlers and young children.

This place is a great zoo. My daughters and I have a great experience here. We went in the fall where the weather are like 65 degree and sunny. Cool weather makes it so nice to walk around. This sightseeing zoo is the most beautiful thing with the bamboo all around atmosphere. Very roomy, spacious, playground area, lots of restrooms area around zoo. These animals are active and moving. Pacing back to forth. Most zoo I went, animals are lazy and just sit, laid, sleeping, or inactive. This zoo is shade all around. Lots of animals to see. I think the animals are trained to walk around in that small habitat that they live in. There's a small aquarium and reptiles room too. Over all it's awesome zoo. One thing for sure is, don't wear anything but comfy shoes. It's huge... Wear comfortable shoes to walks in. Not too crowded. We didn't get to see the elephant that was labeled. We saw a very nice variety of animals though. I'm very satisfied with the outcome of this zoo have. I'm likely to returned after they get the penguin area. I'm looking forward to this day. If you have a pass that covers area museums and parks, the zoo may not be covered any more. But other than that it is a nice zoo. A nice collection of exhibits and pretty clean. Lots of vultures.

A very enjoyable trip to the zoo. A beautiful location to walk around and look at all of the exhibits with animals. My children loved the interactive nature of the exhibits and especially the large playground for the kids to play on. Our favorite moment was when the lion roared right in front of the glass and rubbed its face against the glass. Amazing! The zoo seemed clean and well kept.

Once the animals were out it was great! Cooler temps kept some of the animals from being out. (Understandably, temps must be above 48F for tropical animals to be let out. I wish these animals' indoor enclosure were viewable during these times.) We enjoyed all of the animals and the beautiful landscaping.

Recently visited the Cameron Park Zoo and was shocked at how filthy it was. I understand zoos are smelly. But this place had bird poop everywhere because of all the vultures that have taken over. And there were discarded plastic tarps in some of the enclosures…including some with animals in them; which seems like a safety issue for the animals. Beyond the uncleanliness, it was really a sad zoo. Only one elephant, which is too bad, because elephants are incredibly social animals and need to be in a pair or trio. And the one bear they have is clearly not well mentally. The poor thing was pacing back and forth in a 6 foot pattern, clearly distressed. Same with the tiger. I would not support this zoo. Honestly, it would be better for the animals and the public if it would close.

Note that the bridge is still closed, although the work is expected to be completed this year. November is just days away and I seriously doubt if it will be available for the public to enjoy in 2022. The promenade is a nice place to burn some calories after dinner but be prepared, there are swarms of mosquito.

Historic bridge with a nice park around it. There's an observation platform nearby for photos on the river, the Doris Miller memorial and a Vietnam veterans memorial among other things to see. More than just a bridge.

Very nice peaceful place for the 1st time here and enjoyed myself. Yet the day was super hot it read 102° that was there for like 1 hour about 5ish left and returned abt 8ish was still hot but a bit breezy. Nice place to take some pics and just sit and soak in the sun. Nice history on this, too. You will enjoy and I think they also have kayaks for rent. Not sure how much but I know they do and the lake cruise as well.

very beautifully restored bridge. love fishing there feeding the ducks and just overall a good place to bring the family for a nice walk. events and more it's also surrounded by lots of local restaurants and fun things to do as it is literally right downtown.

The suspension bridge is currently closed due to construction, but we were able to walk through the park area down to the river where you can see the bridge pretty well.

One time visiting on my way of heading to Austin. I think it’s good to see the bridge and get some refresh at the riverside. At that time, i just wanted to stop by a park beside the river to take a break from my long way driving, but i found this historic bridge by chance. Lucky, I like it! 😉👍This beautiful creature reminds me New York in someways.

This is a historical place in waco. It has great look and a good place for afternoon walk. It is located in the downtown waco. The river looks very attractive from the bridge. This bridge shares history of this old town. There’s a hiking trail beneath it which goes up to the Cameron park and named as river trail. Parking and restrooms are available. Such a cool piece of history. Bridge built in 1870 and updated and maintained by Waco. Cool sculptures as you enter with markers and a great smooth place to walk. Even works for those with walkers or wheelchairs. It's a great place for visitors and locals to hang out and enjoy the sights.

Was closed due to construction but it appears to be a beautiful walk over the Brazos when open. Some of the "Branding the Brazos" statuary are outside of the construction area. This is ordinarily open during the evening but I wouldn't feel safe with the restrooms being occupied with homeless people. Looks like a gathering. No hate here, simply concerned as a tourist.

Excellent place to relax and discover some of not only Waco's but American history.. the area has become exponentially more popular in recent yr and don't look to slow with the post tornado redevelopment of downtown and the historic Elm St corridor.. so come on and have a relaxing afternoon and learn something about Waco or Texas you might not of known... ❤️💯

Nice place for evening strolling at the edge of downtown Waco. There is an history involved with this bridge that I found interesting and hence attached in the photos. This bridge is no longer used for traffic rather it’s open for visitors. It connects to the riverwalk through stairs as well as ramps. Bridge entrance is nicely adorned with sculptures which makes this place more attractive. Free street parking available and restaurants are just around the corner. I don’t remember any restroom onsite but there is a picnic spot and restroom just 5 minutes walk down the riverwalk near Doris miller monument.

This bridge is awesome. The views are so beautiful and it feels good to walk on the bridge. Me and my husband went for walks on the bridge and back through another bridge next to it. They also have a beautiful trail down the bridge that has amazing views and is so peaceful to walk. Glad we decided to stop by . They also have beautiful sculptures of Longhorns that are so artistic.

Very attractive walking bridge, a good spot for photos and fresh air! You can park your car on the street that is running along the river. In front of the bridge you'll find some statues of cows and cowboys. Also there is a nice walking area nearby the bridge on both shores of the river. The bridge itself is now used by pedestrians only, but it is quite wide, in good state and give a nice views to the water, other bridges and river shores. I very enjoyed my stop here

Completed in 1869 (That's not a typo. 1869.), the bridge crosses the Brazos River in Waco. A major undertaking at the time due to Waco's remote location, it was considered to be a marvel of engineering. More than 3 million bricks make up the twin double towers. The cables that make up the bridge were brought in by wagons. The first suspension bridge in Texas, it was built to be wide enough for stagecoaches to pass each other. Or for cattle to cross on one side of the bridge while pedestrians crossed on the other. Yes, as the only bridge over the Brazos, Waco was a critical stop on the Chisholm Trail that was used to drive cattle to the railroads. There have been no tolls to cross the bridge since 1889. It has been open to vehicles, stagecoaches, and cattle until 1971 when it was reduced to pedestrians and bicycles only.

When I visited, there was a cute high school couple asking his partner for prom. Good place to walk and wander around. Be careful thou a few homeless people around.

In the Shadow of the Waco TX Suspension Bridge lies a quiet little park dedicated to a larger than life American Hero, Doris Miller, a Waco Native. It's a beautiful Memorial and will or should jerk a tear from the pit of humanity to see such a young life lost to a war he didn't create.

An icon of city of Waco. Very nice place to take pictures and admire the Brazos river that flows underneath. It’s been very well maintained over the years. When we went they were doing some maintenance but it was still accessible to the public.

First time here. If you're interested in the Texas Rangers or just Texas and U.S. history, you'll enjoy the displays here. There is an optional 40 minute documentary about the Rangers. Even if you're just into historic guns, you'll like it here. They have one of the automatic rifles used to take down Bonnie and Clyde. The display of historic badges is amazing. Give yourself 45 minutes to an hour for a self-guided tour and don't forget the gift shop at the end. I highly recommend this museum and I'll be coming back.

A place to learn about Rangers origin, development and their importance in Texas history. There is a lot of interesting data to learn. The museum has a lot of information to read and also objects to see. If you like to read information, you can spend easily more than two hours. In my opinion, this museum is more enjoyable for adult public because historical information could be a little dense for kids, but objects are great. There is a room where they run a 45 minutes documental that it is included with your admission. It is worth it to see it. During my visit, the documetal started after I saw all the museum so, I was able to rest a little.

Had alot of fun here with the kids. They enjoyed learning and reading about everything and doing the scavenger hunt. The pistols you could pick up and feel and take apart were a very nice touch! Take a trip out here and enjoy reading about everything and seeing the exhibits.

Today was my first time visiting the Museum and I had a great time and learned alot. Really enjoyed the history of the Rangers and how it transitioned to present times. Alot of great stuff to see and read, such as firearms and sections about Bonnie and Clyde. The Hall of Fame section was very well done. I would definitely recommend coming to the museum.

If you like guns, rangers and learn about them this is great place. They had so much information on how rangers came into existence and various types of guns they used. They also had a documentary on rangers which was really informative. The whole place will take about 3 hours. If you want to read everything about guns then add more time. The tickets are not expensive at all just 10 per adult and they do have discounts too. The guns the rangers used are beautiful. They also have a beautiful gift shop. My husband really enjoyed it. We are planning on bringing my father in-law here too as he loves Texas Rangers.

Incredible history of a storied profession. My grandparents neighbor, Glen Elliott is enshrined there. I really enjoyed seeing his career on display. Great man!

For the western US history lover, this place is a real gem. Since their inception in 1823 to present they have been known for their integrity, bravery and energy. These guys are and have always been, the real deal. Lawmen to the core, and we appreciate them! They fought hostiles at first, and then in time, became a law enforcement org. They're the men in the white hats...the good guys! Love history? You'll love this place.

Had a great time going through the museum. Tins of displays and an awesome video on the Texas Rangers. Four gentlemen in period costumes representing 4 different eras, explained how the Rangers operated in each period. A great experience for all ages.

We stopped here after visiting Magnolia Farms, and we really enjoyed our visit! Lots of very interesting information, and exhibits to look at!

What a fun experience here. We enjoyed looking at all of the historical pieces like guns and boots etc. The film they ran was really educational! I learned a lot! Definitely a place to check out if you're in town.

The museum is very well organized, with every item of history in the areas properly related to its point in time. The interior is beautiful and structured proper, giving room for information to be put on the walls in a viewable location. Each item has its own interesting backstory and provides context put into understandable sentences. I had some confusion with the building the museum was located in. The woman at the front desk of the Waco Welcome Center quickly and clearly told us where to enter, which is the large building to the left. Tickets were 10$ for adults ages 13 to 59, 8$ for seniors 60 and over, and 4$ for children 6 to 12, with 5 and under given free entry. They also do military/law enforcement discounts, with military being 8$ and law enforcement being 6$. Overall, great museum if you’re looking to dive deeper into the Texas Rangers’ history!

If you like museums, history and everything about rangers, that’s a great museum to visit in Waco. Very interesting, informative, well organised and full of facts, paintings and pictures about rangers in Texas. No need to buy tickets in advance, not crowded, spacious. Absolutely recommend to visit. Adult ticket price is 10 dollars and kids till 12 years old 4 dollars each.

A museum that captivated my attention. Such a large display of beautiful custom engraved weapons along with antique arms and criminally modified ones. From their beginnings (which I had no clue of) to today's law enforcement. The good Rangers and the bad Rangers. From tracking criminals to their captures or demise. Plan on watching the movie and spending a couple hours or more.

My husband and I really enjoyed this museum. The video was well done and very informative. Great museum.

I came here with my parents and had no idea how many cool things we would be seeing! This place is so well maintained, full of knowledge and memorabilia from the past. It’s very surreal seeing how life used to be and how far things have come. A must see for anyone in Waco!

This is museum is full of the history of the Texas Rangers and has so many artifacts! There is also 45min movie, but we skipped it

I LOVED this place. As a native Texan, raised on the only soda there is, this museum was Awesome! There are three floors of Dr Pepper memorabilia. There is also a soda fountain and interactive workshops. The Make-a-Soda was very fun(do recommend buying advanced tickets for this and the Taste-a-Soda) The gift shop was great. You can take home everything from shirts, hats, and magnets to the original Dr Pepper itself. Also, every paid admission receives a free Dr Pepper or $1 off the floats.

Super Place to take a break from driving for a few hours. Much more to see and do than we expected. Try the Taste-a-soda... We got 0 right but had a great time with Gale anyway. My kids 16&14 actually enjoyed the whole place. Don't miss the Dr. Pepper floats. Seriously.... Don't miss them.

Great place to visit. Enjoyed touring the museum. It has 3 floors filled with Dr Pepper stuff plus adjoining buildings with a gift shop & small cafe. Plus it is only about 2 blocks away from the famous Magnolia Complex of Chip & Joanne fame.

$10 to enter per person. You get a voucher for a small Dr Pepper at the end or $1 off at the gift shop. Everything a Dr Pepper lover will enjoy. From the humble begins to present day, this is a cool place to visit. Lots of picture taking opportunities here. Some exhibits are hard not to touch as they state not to touch. A place to see after the Magnolia Silos in Waco.

This place was pretty cool. Way more interesting than I thought it would be. It has the expected history, cans and bottles and old advertisements. But there's also flavor chemistry, manufacturing stuff, the flops like celery soda and new coke. Lots of reading, don't expect to be wowed by loud music and flashing lights. Ten bucks. 2 buildings.

Fun museum on the history of Dr. Pepper. Three floors to explore and lots of cute photo ops in the museum. Soda fountain was a fun way to end, and some of the soda choices are included with the $10 admission ticket, or you can get $ 1 off other options, including floats. Taste-A-Soda and Make-Your-Own-Sodas you can add on for an extra $5 and $10 per person. Both are very fun and memorable experiences. Pogo pass Dallas includes the admission ticket, and you can usually find promos for a discount on the Pogo pass.

Excellent museum! Kids love Dr. Pepper and on our way to Dallas we stopped and it was awesome experience! Very neat to read and see the history of the drink, various photos, equipment, tools, first bottles and more! At the end tried the float and was tasty! Kids loved it! Recommended it!

Definitely an experience to share!!! There was a lot of information about the Dr. Pepper company, how it was made, where it came from and even where it is now. If you have an afternoon, Definitely check it out!!! Don't forget to get your free drink or dollar off of a float! (Which I recommend!)

I don't think just anybody would be as excited by this museum as we were, but we are so glad we stopped! It's not World of Coca-Cola (Atlanta), but isn't trying to be, and that's what we loved! It's a small, non-profit museum in an historic building telling a story about the rise of soft drink, the bottling processes, the employee experiences, the international expansion, the power of marketing, and the passion of one of Dr. Pepper's most devoted CEOs-W. W. "Foots" Clements. My 16 year-old said he preferred it to World of Coke (though that was about 4 years ago). That may have also partly been because it's smaller size and cheaper ticket meant we only spent about 2 hours and didn't burn out the kids. Mom and I had been through here almost 20 years ago and were shocked how much it seemed to have grown. If it was there before, we missed the 7-Up section and soda jerk / soda floats completely before, but not this time! Who SHOULD visit? I'd say it is definitely better for someone who is interested in soda pop (or history in general), willing to do a lot of reading, and doesn't require hands-on exhibits to stay occupied. A bit of nostalgia helps, too, whether you're of the "10, 2, and 4" era or "Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper, too?" Now, time to go try a hot Dr. Pepper...

We highly enjoyed the Dr. Pepper Museum. Lots of cool things on display.Good history of the company and it's employees. I enjoy the trucks on display a lot. The staff was very friendly. It's worth the $10 to get in. My whole family enjoyed the museum. Easy to get to off of I-35

We honestly hit this up due the proximity to magnolia market. It was a cute hidden gem that does show a unique way of preserving the history of the Dr Pepper company. All of the antique signage and marketing pieces were great to look at. You won’t need to reserve admission tickets in advance but it you’re interested in either the Make A Soda or Taste a Soda experiences I would def buy these in advance.

A very interesting place to visit- no idea this even existed! We had a great time going through the building that had such history. This happens to be my youngest son's favorite drink. We enjoyed looking through the different eras of production of this American institution. We were glad to be there and of course go to the gift shop for souvenirs to bring back to California. A great family environment and one that we hope to visit again.

A nice museum that exhibits the origin and the history of an alternate drink among the other familiar drinks ! Home of Dr.Pepper is a nice architectural piece. The museum store gives the choices for the souvenirs, and an on site quick bite restaurant with indigenous drink gives an opportunity to spend some time relaxing. No car parking in site. Paid lots and street parking are available nearby.

Really well done museum with a complete history of Dr Pepper. The place is right next to the Silos in Waco making it very convenient for multiple experiences in one day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the tables in the malt shop were not cleaned regularly and the gift shop is over priced. However, if you are a fan of Dr Pepper, you will love the experience.

"I'm A Pepper", so of course I had to visit the Dr. Pepper Museum while in Waco! :-) There are 3 floors packed with memorabilia inside of a 1906 bottling plant. There's so much to take in and interact with that I recommend giving yourself at least an hour to get through it all. One of my favorite things about this museum was a "theater" where you can sit and watch all of the Dr. Pepper commercials! The "I'm A Pepper" commercial is my favorite, but my goodness, I heard it in my head over and over for the rest of the tour. :-) Then there's the gift shop and the soda fountain, complete with a "soda jerk", so plan on an extra hour of two after enjoying the museum. Grab a free Dr. Pepper (best ever) or get a dollar off a Dr. Pepper Float on your way out. My friend, Nicole, thought the sign that read "Tip your Jerk" was awfully rude, until I explained that Soda Jerk is the actual title of the sweet lady who poured our DP! :-D (If you love Dr. Pepper like I do, grab a bag of Dr. Pepper Cotton Candy while your there!) I absolutely recommend making time to visit the Dr. Pepper Museum if you're ever in or near Waco, Texas! I loved it!

What a cool experience! So much history at the Dr pepper museum. History of sparkling water, mineral water, Dr pepper, and all kinds of other soda's. Museum also had pictures and information about the tornado of 1953 that destroyed a large portion of Waco. Museum tour includes a fountain drink as well. So much history here. Great way to cool off indoors and learn about the history of soda! Definitely recommend this place.

Love it!!! Definitely a great experience for a Dr.Pepper fan or really any soda fan! Did the taste testing and make your own soda exhibits that were so fun to do. Book in advance!! Great photo ops too and awesome gift shop. The virtual tour was kind of hard to follow and not really up to date with the museum, so it would be great if you could update it and not make it a video but audio only

We enjoyed the museum. There was a lot of really neat stuff from all over the world. Some interactive exhibits. The science lab was fun! The snack shoppe was a great atmosphere.

This was a really neat place to visit. We loved the Make-a-Soda class. Some of the items in the gift shop are pretty expensive (a medium-sized puppy was $30) so beware, but overall, it was a cool experience for kids.

Amazing museum! LOADS of history everywhere you turn, but if you're "A Pepper," it's a lot more interesting! There are also a couple of experiences to participate in for just a little extra $. There's an old fashioned soda bar where you can get a DP and/or ice cream float. Of course, there's also a gift shop. Really fun place!

Raspberry, lime and 7up combo is good :) you can ask for separate cups and mix and match on your own!! You can also get a free drink at the end or get $1 off menu items (get 2 scoops of ice cream for $4 or a root beer float for $5). Fun for kids and adults, good family activity to do if you're visiting!

Lots of fun if you like to visit museums. Me and my husband decided to visit it and absolutely loved it. It was so much fun finding out how they bottled, what inspired them to start fizzy drinks and we absolutely loved the ads created old times to advertise Dr Pepper outside. They also have a make your own soda lab which we couldn’t make it on time but looked like so much fun. The best was they served hot Dr Pepper. It was so good.

It was a nice to see the history or Dr. Pepper. They even had cans and bottles from other countries. It cost $10 to get in but it also came with a voucher for a free fountain drink or a discount on a souvenir cup. They also had a penny machine where you can make a Dr. Pepper penny for $0.51. I recommend you go early so you can try their soda maker we went later in the day and it was already closed.

I love (and am slightly addicted to) Dr Pepper and made a special day trip from Dallas to Waco, just to go to the museum! The history is fascinating and I loved all the displays. The line for the free drink was super long and I'd packed my own bottle of Dr Pepper Cherry for the road, so I didn't wait in line. The Make a Soda and Taste a Soda were booked by the time I arrived, but it looked fun and interesting! There's a lot of exclusive items available in the small gift shop. I might have spent a small fortune 🤣

A cool little walk through with the entire history of Dr Pepper from beginning to present day!! When you buy the $10 general admission walk through you also get a hand made Dr Pepper at the end of the tour. I also recommend buying tickets in advance for the Dr Pepper tasting and the make your own soda experience. They usually are sold out by the day of so buying in advance is a good thing. Overall a really cool experience. $10 parking was available across the street from the museum.

We really enjoyed our visit. There are lots of interesting marketing things to see, and the history is pretty cool. Value wise, I think the extra experiences are overpriced. We paid $30 for a quick 20 minute make your own soda. I think a fair value would be half or make general admission $15 and include the experience. I think it would also be cool to make a professional label instead of one you write in with a sharpie. That being said, the folks running the experience were super awesome and did an outstanding job. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping. Lots of good photo opportunities.

Fun place, close parking on the street, and reasonable price to get in. Went with my family for a little outing and everyone seemed to enjoy the atmosphere. The reason I gave four stars is because you are given a bracelet at entry to receive a free drink at the end of seeing the museum. You pass a gift shop then a big area where drinks and shakes are made ( the bracelet is for a drink only ), well both the gift shop and drink area where unbelievably packed! We decided to pass up the drink and leave.

I’ve been a fan of Dr Pepper for more than 20 years now and I’m glad I got to visit Mecca! So cool to learn the history of not only my favorite drink but as an entrepreneur it was awesome to learn about the company! I was nervous that this wouldn’t be a good place for my kids but there was plenty of fun activities for them! I would definitely visit again the next time I find myself in Waco.

We stopped in from a day trip we took. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The selections of wines are really good. I recommend the First Kiss wine. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. They also serve 4 course dinner on Saturdays. It's a shame I don't live closer by otherwise I'd be a regular.

Celebrated at the new location from the outside didn't look like much but with the tour and the 4 course meal we were amazingly surprised great relaxed ambience. Krystal (sommelier) and Chris (cook) were outstanding! Every dish was a mouthwatering tasting masterpiece of flavor.

New location but same awesome wines. They moved to the vineyard for their wine venue! Not close but worth the drive. The wine club dinners are same as 5 star restaurant! Customer service is fast and friendly! Owners are such friendly people! It’s a must go and see location!

We love Kissing Tree!! The owners and staff are wonderful, treating you like family!! We are local and had wine tasted here several times but just recently started to attend some of their events from monthly Bunco nights to dinner & live music to last night’s New Years Casino night. We always have a great time and have met so many wonderful folks!!! The venue is smaller, enhancing the friendly environment. We will continue to support this business and continue to have a great time doing so!!

Amazing steaks. Great atmosphere small town charm, big city class and top notch staff/help and other patrons were friendly and lively. A great evening!

So after driving through Bruceville-Eddy twice while visiting relatives, the second time which was my birthday, I asked my husband to go inside and surprise me with a bottle of red wine, his choice. He said the little winery is a nice place with friendly folks who helped him with his selection. On our drive back to Cypress, he read some reviews, several good but some mentions of a vinegar taste. I was optimistic though and looking forward to enjoying my birthday wine once we got home. Upon opening, I noticed the white cork, both ends, but I was still optimistic. I let the wine breathe, still optimistic, but when I took my first taste I tasted the vinegary taste some others had mentioned. Still optimistic thinking maybe the second taste or third would be better, unfortunately it was not. I was terribly disappointed in the taste along with the fact that I had asked my husband to stop and buy a bottle for my birthday and he kindly did. He isn’t a wine drinker and we had our dog in the car or else I would have gone in for a tasting and opted for a different bottle or blend. Lesson learned, read reviews first and tastings can make or break the sale. Unfortunately, it went down the drain.

Visited because we love Texas wine. Wine is mediocre at best. As a consumer who values integrity and responsible citizenship, I am deeply disappointed to learn that the owner of this winery participated in the January 6th insurrection. Supporting a business whose owner engages in such egregious behavior goes against my principles. It's troubling to think that my dollars could contribute to someone who undermines the very foundations of our democracy. I cannot in good conscience recommend this winery to anyone until there's a clear stance of accountability and a demonstration of commitment to upholding democratic values.

We really enjoyed this place!! The wine was great. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. The art gallery and old fashioned bank was worth it. We would definitely come back!!

The new location by the vineyard has some nice views and is quiet, though there were a lot of flys in the tasting room. The wine is a bit hit or miss. A lot of the options tasted vinegar-y and/or chemically and seemed like they had been open for a few days unrefrigerated before we got to try them.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on a whim while traveling back from Dallas, and this is a gorgeous 3 part venue with a wine area, a lounge area and a dining area. The decor and atmosphere are beautiful and the owner, Christopher is friendly and very helpful with choosing wines. The Cabernet was my favorite wine. They have dinner service on Saturday evenings.

We understood they are at a new location for 1 mth. But the ventilation is terrible. It was so smoky in the room when you are trying to enjoy the food and drinks. It made me and my husband walk out to get air. Eyes burning. The food was AMAZING, the Wine is GREAT, the people are nice and the music was on point. BUT, unless they fix the ventilation we can not return. I am sure they are working out the kinks being new to that location. I can not imagine them not noticing the issue. It was this past Saturday 10/21. I hope they fix this because we want to come back with friends for couples nights, we just cannot bring them if this issue is not fixed.

My wife and I have been here twice for their Valentine's Dinner, and it was wonderful both times. The food and wine were perfect to celebrate the evening. There are a lot of 1-star reviews on here from people who have never been to Kissing Tree, but have a vendetta against the owners. Just click on their profiles and you'll see they're not even from Texas. Read the reviews from locals and Texans and you'll get a better feel for the tasting room.

My family went for their family day and it was so much fun! Everything was well organized and friendly for all ages! We will be keeping an eye out for more events!

Very nice clean place to enjoy alone or with family. The museum although quite small, is organized and has many interesting pieces for "kids" young and more mature. The museum also has a couple of really amusing activities for children and parents to partake in during their visit. ☆This museum is also wheelchair accessible and enjoyable. I highly encourage people to take their family members here as a short indoor outing that is also rather easy on the wallet. ENJOY!!!

It's not too big but there are interesting things to see. Love that there is a family day once a month, a free event that is super fun for the small ones... Girl scouts were visiting and astronomy and crafty things and all loads of fun and exiting things to do for the little ones. Check the event calendar to be able to join. Thank you organisers and volunteers for this lovely time.

Such a great gem in the heart of Temple for all train lovers! Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves while exploring the many things that this area has to offer. Can’t wait to come back and explore some more!

What an absolutely pleasurable museum! I enjoyed every minute spent here!

It was an amazing museum to walk through and see history if trains as well as their rotation history display. Baseball was the theme when we went. The model train display was fantastic and the interactive area was fun too.

Like being brought back in time, it's a must see if you enjoy old buildings still in great condition. You can see out lines of sea shells in the walls. Interesting since Oklahoma is in the middle of the United States.

Loved this museum, museum itself is small and kids will not enjoy it much but it also gives you access to real steam engines and kids go bananas.

Best place! Wish there were ghosts or some old people to tell us eyewitness accounts of how trains work. Love the museum!

There is a lot to learn and do here! It's a real Amtrak station, so passengers really do arrive and depart here. The museum has lots of information to learn from. The exterior has a large grassy space with picnic tables, gazebos, multiple playground spaces, stage area for live music, and a water fountain to run through. It is a great space for families!

What a great way to spend a couple of hours. The TR&HM has an amazing, interactive, and well thought out museum fun for all ages. My boys, 10 & 12 had a blast it was hard to leave. Outside you can check out the exterior of many train cars, but you can also go into an engine and a caboose. And less than 100 yards away is an epic outdoor playground. You won't be disappointed with a visit to the TR&HM.

Took my kids here, first time for all of us coming to this museum. Very friendly people and atmosphere. Very helpful and my girls had a great time with the picture scavenger hunt while I enjoyed learning. Definitely recommend

Slides/pools 3/5: This place is small but good to go get wet for a few hours. There are a total of 4 slides, a kids splash area and a pool with a couple diving boards but they wont let you do any flips. There's a 3" area so babies can get wet too :) Food 4/5: They sell brisket nachos that were really good but were $8. They have pulled pork sandwiches, burgers and more. You can bring coolers but can only bring in waters. Seating 3/5: The gazebo areas are for rent so get there early to get an area under a big community umbrella or a tree. There are chairs but no lounge chairs to lay out and tan on.

Super fun! Glad my kids are finally tall enough for slides! Lots of seating and different play areas for even the little kids! Very well staffed, lifeguards all over the place!

I was excited to take my daughter here for a day to escape the heat wave... I was disappointed that she was about an inch too short to ride the slides with me. Definitely not their fault though, so the only area we could play in was the shallow play area. Unfortunately, a lot of the kid's area was coned off and not working. The teenage life guards have an attitude if you have to ask them any questions. Seating is scarce it looks like you are allowed to bring in outside seating however. You may bring a cooler with waters and snacks! The cost was extremely reasonable! For both my daughter and I, it was only 10 dollars. Overall 3/5 because for the price we had a lot of fun...but it could have been much better had I known to bring my own seating and if the attitudes and equipment had been better!

Small but fun for families. Short season, but when they are open they have stuff for all ages including a splash pad, laps pool, diving boards, slides of varying intensity, canopy covered seating, full changing rooms, lockers, and a snack bar.

For the price, this is a good place. I just wish they had been a bit more attentive when it comes to the water. Unfortunately it smelt of algae/river water, at that was only 2hrs from opening when we got there. I have tried the Lions junction water park in temple and that place is 5 star.

It is a great places for the kiddos. I went 3 times summer 2023 and never felt it was too crowded or kids were too rowdy. Prices are fair for admission and food.

They do not update their website. It will say open, you will show up and it will not be open. No closed sign, nothing.

This place is definitely a summer must. The water quality is great per my pool operator fiancé and the slides are a blast! I will say this is definitely a place to go during the week. A long time ago, when I was younger, I went with my mom and siblings on the weekend, and it was super packed! So strongly suggest going during the week if you can, but nonetheless it was super fun and the perfect summer activity.

Lions club water park in Killeen tx is fun for little ones and older kids. 4 years old and under is $5 . 5 years old and up $7 ( if you live in Killeen). If you live out of Killeen it is few dollars more . I was able to buy 2 hot dogs, 2 Gatorades and a bag of chips for $9 . The only down side ...must be here early because it is not a huge park so once it is full you will have to wait until peole leave. There is no refunds or rain checks.

Wow we just bought a family season pass because we visited the pool and it was amazing. Clean, organized, the equipment looked great, the staff was exceptional. The conssession stand was awesome, this is our new summer family hang out. Killeen stepped it up and I am impressed. Great job!!!!!

We actually just walked the paths, it's very big and beautiful.

The park is a community one that is relatively inexpensive to go to. There are a few slides here but nothing to go on about. They have a small children’s area, a pool, and diving boards as well. It is fairly clean and the staff is decent. However the park is usually crowded, filled with teenagers and adolescents who’s parents use the park as a babysitter and don’t watch the kids. He teenagers rough house, shove, and curse next to small children and don’t care if they hurt them. The staff stops them sometimes but not enough. They take swim breaks every so often where everyone has to get out of the water and all the water is shut off. Between that and someone usually throwing up in the water, they are always shutting down the pools so you feel like you’re always stopping.

3 fun pools for all ages! Water playground for the little ones, deeper pool with diving boards, and 4 different big slides! Lots of shade and chairs. Snack bar with burgers and hot dogs too! We love coming here

First time here. Walked in and with 4 people standing behind the bar we were not greeted or acknowledged. As one of the bar tenders walked by us we asked if we just sit anywhere and he muttered “yep”. So we sat and waited. After about 10 minutes we were about to get up and leave when one of the girls saw us and came over to tell us we have to go next store to order food but they can bring it here. At least she made an effort which is why I gave 2 stars instead of just 1. I guess I missed the sign coming in. We got up and went next door then decided it wasn’t worth the effort and we went to the Shed instead.

Super friendly with a great atmosphere. Always something happening with a fantastic selection of drinks and food.

Great vibe and crowd. The bartenders were busy yet took time to chat and suggest drinks. Huge variety of beers, ciders and wines. I loved the mead, pineapple sour beer (it was like a mix of Guinness and fruity IPA.. real good) and a white wine I tasted. They offer wine tasting and flights. There’s great discount for wines on bulk. Will defo visit again.

Went here for a burger. We came here when they first opened and we were not really impressed. But wanted to give them another try. There’s no ice for the fountain drinks, you think a restaurant/bar would have that fixed. The burgers were good, I couldn’t even eat all of it. The fries were crispy and hot. The restaurant side was not busy at 5 o’clock and it’s a little dark with its black and grey interior. Would definitely consider takeout next time.

Great food and many kinds of beer on tap. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer to try them. The staff was friendly and told us about their weekly events like “open mike and karaoke.” I’m trying to talk hubby into visiting again tonight for open mike. (Fingers crossed) I love singing karaoke and look forward to joining them on karaoke night. I think we may have found a place that my hubby and I can have date nights closer to home.

I had a chicken salad and shared a large order of Brussels sprouts and chased it down with a flight of IPAs. Good food, great people, awesome atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this place when passing through town. There are a lot more beer and wine options than what I was expecting from the outside. Just goes to show you can't always judge a book by it's cover. Chatted with the staff a bit. They were all friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered lunch next door at the Kitchen and then headed over to the bar for some beer and waited on our lunch. Huge selection of beer, wine, qmd ciders. Food was better than expected and for the price AWESOME! Zero complaints and we enjoyed everything. Highly recommend.

We love coming here. I have always recommended it to other people. Food is always great. My family and I went in today and when we were sitting at the table all you could hear was a loud girl in the back in the kitchen. She was laughing, cutting up and cussing so much. I had my three kids with me and seriously it was just so inappropriate. I went and told the person up front if they could tell her that everyone can hear her cussing in the lobby and to stop. I didn’t hear any cussing after that but she was still so obnoxious in the back. I seen a few other things that were questionable and because of that as well I don’t think we will be returning unfortunately.

Mass quantities of beers from Texas breweries on tap in a fun and low key venue. Friendly staff and (sometimes) live music add to the mix. Like wine? Again, a satisfying large selection to pick from. Kitchen is available for chow if you're hungry. Swag for sale and free wi-fi, too. A good choice for a cold one in Salado.

Went to our first performance and it was an amazing experience. Very cozy atmosphere with exceptionally friendly staff. The production went off without a hitch I could see. Very talented cast who clearly loved their craft. My pic of the stage was taken from the balcony, row N. No seat has bad viewing.

We had a good time, this was the first time here for the disaster musical and we had a good time. The staff was friendly, the theme drinks were small but good. We will definitely come back for other plays/musicals.

They kicked my Church out of renting the space with no warning days before service. They had no qualms using our rent money to supplement there income during the pandemic though. I won’t be coming back and my business definitely will not be installing any more air conditioners for them.

The theater was very well kept. Everything was clean, seats were comfortable, sound was good. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful. All the seats looked like good seats. The play itself was good sets and pretty good acting. I enjoyed the experience. The worst thing I can say is the lack of parking

Came here for opening night of the Sound of Music show. The staff was all friendly and the seating while, tight is better than most older theaters. The upstair was pretty warm though (to be fair it was 106° out). The cast did amazing and the show was great. Happy to have come and I’m sure I’ll be back again! Come check it int

My husband and I went to the 9-5 show and absolutely had a great time! Enjoying live theatre is one of our favorite things to do, and it's so great that Georgetown has it's own little place that keeps this art form alive! Thank you Georgetown Palace Theatre...keep it up!

An older intimate venue, which has been well maintained. Good sound system and great air conditioning. The dance recital was great, featuring some of the children from our church.

I saw a wonderful musical performance at the Palace. Everything was high quality; set design, costumes, singing, dancing and acting. It's a smaller theater with a nice intimate feel and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Street parking was easy and close as well as free on a Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend seeing a show there.

Charming vintage theatre in the heart of Georgetown. Recently saw a community theatre production of ‘Crazy For You’ here. The theatre needs some updated seating, and the ladies bathroom line was long- but they did add a They/Them bathroom that was nice to see. The show had some great dancers in it. It’s always wonderful to see communities embracing theatre.

I saw Cinderella here, it was the best Cinderella performance I have ever seen and I have seen Cinderella on Broadway during the golden era in the 1960s so that's saying a lot! Kudos to them.

The most magical experience ever! The host and hostesses cater to you as soon as you walk in the door....the cast could have been right off Broadway...singing, dancing, the use of props, their acting genius and the set coordination and design are unmatched! The whole experience was captivating leaving you breathless to want more. I was moved and inspired by the brilliance of the performance. Mary Poppins flying through the air, the chimney sweep walking on the ceiling from a cast of at least 30 dressed for the times in colorful fashion one musical number after the next, with amazing singing ability! The mean nanny scaring the audience, to the statues coming to life...mouths were hanging at the chimney sweep musical number! Well thought out, stupendous all around! Bravo! Can't wait to see the next one! Your biggest fan....

This attraction has something for everyone. The cave is good-sized and has enough rooms to make for approximately a 1 hour tour. It features many enjoyable sites and formations. There is adequate parking out front and they provide restrooms in the lobby area so GO before you enter the cave. There is a charming gift shop and a small snack and lunch area that includes outdoor seating and a modest playscape. Many groups of schoolchildren go to this attraction regularly so expect a crowd of kids. The tour guides are knowledgeable and can answer most any question. Unfortunately, this attraction is not for the mobility challenged... The cave floor is uneven with lots of slopes, bumps and slick areas.

We went on the one hour tour that goes about a mile. It was raining outside and the cave was the perfect place to spend time during the storm. They have a coupon on the website for save $1. Also they have a turtle and zip line outside. Our guide was awesome, wish I remembered her name. She shared lots of great facts about the cave discovery and told stories about the formations inside. Fun and great activity for all ages.

What am amazing place!!! The map on the wall was so detailed and made me want to explore the cave. It was fun to see the seated zipline outside before we made our way inside. So many interesting fossils and bone specimens. Very impressive. Great selection of souvenirs and gifts!!! The snacks and drinks looked very inviting although we didn't have any as we had already had lunch. Definitely a great tour for the whole family!!!!

This was a very interesting place with a very good guide that was very knowledgeable able the caves. She had an answer for everyone questions. I would recommend this tour which was great for all ages. This is a walking tour and sometimes it can be very steep and slippery so where good shoes and be ready for a hour long hike inside a beautiful cave. I recommend this tour it was very informative and beautiful.

Great tour which takes about an hour. No strollers are allowed and low ceilings in places make it tough to bring little ones. If it's tough for your kid to keep their voices low, not touch things, or plan out a bathroom visit before the tour then you reconsider the appropriateness of the visit for your family. My daughter (8) says it was great because the tour guide pointed out a lot of interesting things. My son (6) says it was great because there was a lot of stuff you wouldn't normally see.

We had a blast going here. We did the 1 mile walk into the cavern. Our tour guide had a great personality and made it really fun and educational. We will definitely go back. Next time I want to do the long one where you get to crawl through the smaller holes.

Great place for kids. The guided tour was great, informative and fun! The last part of experiencing pitch black darkness was amazing! And the kids were amazed to see a few rocks that can reflect light in the dark!

Amazing cave structures can be seen here. I did the hidden adventure tour which involved some nice paths, not too tight. It was very cool and educational. The air was a bit cooler and a whole lot more humid down below. Our guide was good, she shared some things and made family appropriate jokes. Overall the tour was about an hour and a half long. The wait was about an hour. Its worth a visit, especially if caves are your thing.

Great smooth trail for a cave. Lots of formations. Steep trail in places, no wheeled vehicles allowed. Hand rails, must be able to walk 1+ miles. Easy for cave walks, medium difficulty as for a hike. 72° F year round, humid, bring water. Backpack not needed, camera and backup flashlight are nice to have. Most of the trail was lit.

An absolutely amazing and informative tour, including the history of the discovery, of the caverns and their importance to both the geological and paleontological records, as well as a nesting place for the local bat colonies. Our two teens were fully engaged, and are now keen to explore other cave systems in central Texas. Special shout out to Rachel, our tour guide par excellence! She has a great gift for making the tour a memorable experience!

Great time with the family and really a great way to get out of the hot hot hot Texas heat! Our host Leroy was very witty and kept us engaged throughout the tour. Highly recommend!

Great fun, but go when it is less crowded. They do tours every 20 min, but they are 30 person max. I first arrived, like an idiot, at 1:30pm on a Saturday, probably their busiest time. We would have had to wait till 3:40 for a tour. Luckily, we were going to be going by again on Monday. We went Monday morning, and it wasn't crowded at all. The cave being cool is a nice break from the summer heat, too. You don't need hiking boots, but some nice shoes with socks that get good traction certainly help. Overall I love this place. I have been 3 or 4 times, and went again today to take my son for his first time.

The Adventure tour was great for our family reunion activity today. Our tour guide was great and made sure to wait for everyone to talk about each spot. We even had our grandmother with us and she did not have trouble keeping up. The ramp back up is a climb though.

More about money than conservation, and a big wait for them to up-sell photos in the initial area of the cave. Some beautiful cave rooms, but overall experience was low compared to other caves in the area. First, the tour groups are relatively huge, and tours were packed in closely after another, so we were frequently passing another group, too. This made for a very noisy trek and some people were touching what they could reach while the guide was a long distance away "guiding" the first few people and seldom waiting for the rest of the group. It might be good for taking younger kids, but adults that don't like experiencing a cave while dodging a bunch of other people and louder than an 8th grade auditorium.... Probably a pass.

I've been wanting to visit this cavern for years and finally had the chance to do it. I was not disappointed.😁💓 Parking is free and easy to get in and out of. They have a gift and snack shop in the guest area and the restrooms are very clean. They offer active duty, veteran and retired discounts as I'm sure a senior discount as well....be sure to ask for this. Tours run often and the tour guides are very knowledgeable about the cave and ready to answer any questions.💪 The cavern itself is AMAZING. It stays nice and cool throughout the year. The rock formations are incredible and the passageways are fun to travel thru. The lighting inside make the formations come alive and the views of each "room" are spectacular. It's quite a treat to see what nature has carved after millions of years.👍 There are a ton of restaurants and hotels within the general area. This was well worth the drive from Houston.🚗

Great experience. Awesome caves with an easy path with hand rails and mats for safety. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the caves and their history. We took the Adventure tour, but will return to do the Hidden Passage tour on our next trip!

A nice day out with the grandson. We both enjoyed it! About a mile walk (ish). Unlike most caverns I've been in this one was very warm (close to 80) and humid. I suggest to dress lightly. I'm elderly and not in the best shape but able to go the full distance no problem. Paul our guide was very informative and great at keeping things light and fun. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Only down side is cost was more than others like places, gift shop was a bit over priced and outside ride was not available. I do recommend finding discounts online that are available. Overall it was a nice place .

I was pleasantly surprised with how fun this was. Growing up in Utah, I've been on the tour for Timpanogos Cave, but these caverns were surprisingly different. First, they're large! Second, each section is unique. The ticket line was long (however, everyone was in town for the eclipse, so that may not be a factor most days), but our guide was hilarious and made geology fun. I definitely recommend this adventure.

Such a great experience.. you will think that you are out of the world . tour guide was very nice and friendly. I visited here starting February so inside it was not too hot. Water is allowed and also you can take pics but no touching the surface until your guide says.

We went on a Thanksgiving weekend and it was not crowded. We were able to join the regular tour in 10 minutes. The tour is around 90 mins. The guide was great 😃. He had a sense of humor 😁. The cave had about 3 large halls. inside was warm so no need to wear any jackets. This is not a wheelchair or stroller friendly path. But you can take infants on a baby carrier.

Nice tour walking around the cave, wear comfy walking shoes since it might be a bit slippery inside. you’ll go downhill on the way in and uphill on the way back. Tour guide was nice and will talk about the different formations along the way.

Really amazing experience. Did the hidden passages experience. 100% worth it. Leroy our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. Super recomended, by teens... so you know it's for real lol. We are coming back in a yr to do the wild tour, thanks to Leroy for making it sound like something we can't miss!

Great place to come and clear your mind, do some fishing, listen to some country music and sit on your tailgate! Visit this place if all you need is a place to unwind

Very small main street, but it's a great lake to walk around. There are plenty of benches but no shade.

The nearest ocean is 200 miles/ 3 hours away. And it's like 100+ degrees every day in the summer now. So it's nice to have a place to cool down with a beach vibe in central Austin, despite it being small and man made. Aside from the "beach", there's water sports, fishing, and jogging trails. With that said, manage your expectations..this is central Texas after all, and not Florida! There are multiple entrances with parking though the sandy area is on the east side only. It's free at the moment but given time, I'm sure they will start charging like with everything in the Austin Area. Anyways, I'm happy to have this as an option.

Nice park That's great to see! Wonderful for jogging and walking. Airy location with benches and piers. Possibilities for good fishing and panoramic vistas.

Pleasently surprised at how beautiful this lake was. It has multiple piers and ample parking spots. We went at evening on a weekend and still got easy parking and a secluded area for ourselves where we could setup our picnic and enjoy the beautiful sunset by the lake side. The walking track looked great and I would like to go back for a stroll when the weather gets better. Sunset views were beautiful and we got some amazing photo ops. Highky recommended!

Beautiful little lake with lots of activity. You can rent surf boards for paddle boarding. There's a nice little swimming beach, a few play scapes, a shaded casebo or 2, about 10 little piers with 3 or 4 larger ones as well. The trail is nice and wide, however unpaved, so if that's important, be mindful. There are lots of ducks and cranes with plenty of space for grounded pick nicks, flying kites, or just stretching your legs out.

Great 3 mile jog for partly cloudy or overcast days. No shade on the trail. Plenty of parking!

Wonderful Sunrise! But growth in the lake and terrible cracks or fissures in the foundation makes it hard to really enjoy Lake Pflugerville's beauty; and Texas heat isn't helping. I hope Texas Parks and Wildlife can help because I almost fell in the cracks several times. Save our Lake's!

We felt like we were in the wrong place because the front looks like part of a strip mall. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It's a mixture of zoo and aquarium animals. They really push the tokens for feeding the animals to make it more interactive. There was a small concession stand area and play place which the kids loved.

The thing I liked the most was that this location was very hands on. You could basically almost touch all of the animals. You should buy tokens before visiting the exhibits to feed the animals ( if you want) otherwise you'll have to go back out to get them. The location was strange as it was located inside a shopping center. It's a small aquarium but still enjoyable.

Extremely surprised how interactive the visit was! My friend and I got to pet a lot of the animals as well as feed them! There are tokens for purchase to feed animals, but most of the exhibits were free so you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy! All the employees truly care about the animals and making everyones experience so much fun. The employees are knowledgeable about the animals too! Ryan was an employee who showed us Louie the crocodile! Such a fun experience! Highly recommend!

I had no idea this place even existed and I was taken here for my birthday this week and it was AMAZING. The staff is awesome and you can clearly tell they all love their jobs. The highlight was definitely Ryan giving us the best experiences with both Sid the 2 toed sloth and Spike the porcupine. I would highly recommend everyone that loves animals visit.

John was our guide on our school field trip today. He was awesome! Loved his friendliness and professionalism with our kids. We learned some interesting new facts about the animals. Thanks John for a great tour!

It was a very surprising visit to say the least. Pulling into the parking lot I was very skeptical of I would enjoy this experience. Once inside, I was amazed! They pack a LOT of things into the space. Sea life, ringtail lemurs, lizards, turtles, fish and birds! A few highlights were petting the rays which love people and paying to spend 15 minutes or so petting lemurs. Very friendly staff and such a great time! Will definitely be back!

Had the best time here with my grandsons. I expected much less from the parking lot, but the inside is amazing!! So many animals to interact with and learn about. There are many activities for kids, it’s a very educational and family friendly environment. I was very impressed by this aquarium. I will definitely be back.

I liked it. It was so cool there. I love seeing all the animals there. The only down side is that it costs too much for the tokens to interact with some of the animals and to get in cost too much. For two adults and one child cost 129 Probably won't be going back.

My wife decided to getaway for the weekend and Austin Aquarium was on our list to hit. It did not disappoint! Well organized and you feed the animals. Very friendly environment and the animals are great.

Had an amazing time here! It's smaller than other aquariums, but much more interactive. There is a huge selection of animal/sea life from all over that you can actually interact with. They sell tokens in addition to the admission price that are used for animal interactions such as feeding the stingrays and birds, getting balloon animals and going into the animal exhibits. They have a small cafe with drinks and snacks. Parking is free and you can be in and out in a little over an hour. It was a great experience and we'll be back!

They have so many in person experiences!!! A must visit for kids! Feeding the fish, sting ray and other marine life was so much fun! There is a room for sitting with the parakeets and feeding them from your hand. They have interactive experience with lemurs, kangaroos, sloths and penguins!!! If you can't do it all, at least do some and it'll be so worth it!!!

I brought my one year old here with no expectations and I was blown away! It was very interactive! I love the feeding token idea! Coming into the cages where birds were flying and Iguanas were was just great! My one year old loved the different birds. Definitely will be returning here

My family really liked this aquarium! It is a little bit smaller than we were expecting but this is also the most interactive aquarium we have ever been too. The aquarium itself is in an old store and the GPS was able to guide us easily. I would have liked for it to be a little easier to find an employee to help us with the exhibits that require us to find an employee to interact. They all seemed so busy that I felt like if I had asked something of them, I would have been a burden. So I didn't ask for help with those exhibits even though I really wanted to interact with the toucans.. I realize that they have things to do and animals that need care but maybe have just one person talk to us or ask us if we would like help with any of the exhibits. All in all though it was fun for the kids and made a good day.

One of the only aquariums that allow you to touch and interact with the animals. Kids loved it. Not super big but enough of a variety for the kids to see. Some of the interactions costs too much and didn’t find the worth in doing it.

Absolutely incredible place to visit! Many interaction opportunities, the staff are all well educated and very friendly! Our favorite moment of the day was getting to hang out with Brandi and Sid the Sloth! They were both amazing and really made the visit special! I would come back here a thousand times more just to feed the parakeets! Awesome place with awesome animals and experiences for a really great price! 100% recommend! Also, Sid you are the most beautiful boy, I hope to see you again!

Awesome location! The staff was super nice and very informative and knowledgeable on all the animals. Big shout out to Vonnie for making our experience a great first experience 😁 she was very patient with my daughter and explained everything with a smile! She even made sure we were able to get a few good pictures for memories! Thank you again to all the staff for a great experience, will definitely recommend and come back to spend more money here.

Disappointingly quite a small facility and attraction. Costly for what it is. Located at the end of a strip shopping center. It got crowded fairly quickly on a Saturday upon opening. Fun and engaging for younger children. They can feed the animals, birds, fish and enter certain exhibits for tokens. They have a talented caricature artist for a selfie cartoon portrait at 6 tokens for color. Don’t expect to spend all day here, it just isn’t a big enough attraction.

This aquarium might be small, but boy is it mighty. We did about 3 laps around the building. We payed for some tokens, but too many tokens gets pricey QUICK. We loved getting to see all the different lemurs, and getting to pet and feed the penguins. Overall it’s a great interactive aquarium/zoo. You can get up close and personal with every single animal in the building. My little one loved that!!

The staff here loves animals. It’s evident in the way the react to them. This is a small aquarium compared to many others, but they care. Thanks for the great time

This place has been steadily getting better over time. Has some nice salt water aquariums and lots of opportunity for kids to interact with the animals. The gift store has some good options for kids. There is a snack bar but I’d suggest you have alternate plans. It’s about a 1 hour visit.

This is a fun little place to have an outing with your kids, or even just to enjoy with a significant other. There are plenty of aquarium displays, but there are more bird and mammal displays that are interactive and really good for the critters and the customers. I would recommend it to anyone...budget an hour or so and you'll be able to really enjoy the whole place.

Had a wonderful time at the Austin Aquarium with my family. There's so much to do in there, whether it's feeding the fish, touching the birds, or petting the lemurs. It's a great outing with the family. The prices wouldn't be so bad if the tokens weren't so expensive 🤯. That is really the one downfall for me was how expensive those tokens were. Be smart and save your tokens for next time if you don't use them all! 💯

I would recommend austin aquarium to anyone visiting the area! It is Small but that's what makes it so great! The amount of love, care, and knowledge of all the animals by all of the staff was so impressive. The encounters will give you lasting memories and you learn so much! Ryan went over and beyond throughout our entire visit to make our visit an awesome experience! We ended our visit with a visit with Ryan and Sid the sloth. Ryan's knowledge, passion, and love for Sid is nothing but amazing and heart warming. It is hard to find a place that 3 college age kids all enjoy but this place was the place and they knocked it out of the park! We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend checking this place out!My best friend and I went right when they opened and I was blown away with how much I learned from the staff. Brandi, Tim and Ryan were exceptionally knowledgeable about all the animals and it was obvious their staff is very passionate about what they do. I can't wait to bring my boys here to have the same wonderful experience I had. FYI, if you have a cat you won't be able to visit with the lemurs and wallabies!

The aquarium is small, but there are a variety of exhibits to enjoy. For kids, there are many opportunities to have "encounters" with animals, learning about and interacting with certain animals under the supervision of the staff. We have a membership and like to pop in every so often for a leisurely hour or two.

Greta place for shopping. Definitely lots of shops. Parking is easily accessible and there are tons of great shops. You could easily spend all day here and not get bored. Tons of restaurants, coffee, shops, different ethnic foods, a barbershop, and much more to do. Really fun place for the whole family to come and enjoy an afternoon or the day.

If you want to shop, have a cocktail, meal, ice cream or whatever you desire. The Domain, has it all Great place to meet up with friends or just take some time by yourself.

The Domain is, by far, my favorite shopping location. In addition to some excellent stores full of very unique goods, The Domain has excellent restaurants, a top notch movie theater and an inviting a very safe environment. The Lone Star Court is a perfect place to stay if you want to spend more than one night at The Domain. Charming retro rooms and a terrific staff make the vintage motel a top shelf stay.

I like this place in Austin. Variety of shops for all the needs you may have. There are lot of good options for dining in or to have a quick bite. The drinks options are also quite good. I have been to few stores and the store crews are all professional.

Has some nice village like touches. Liked the curving streets. Beautiful trees. A lot of unique merchants. Too many national chains at one end of the property. Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci created a balance.

Great place for shopping, dining, and self-care. Several high end stores:Gucci, Tiffany, Chanel, Louis Vuitton. You can make a day of this.

Love this shopping complex. So many really good stores. You’ll find just about anything you need except for big box DIY stuff, although there are lots of them not far from here too. Parking is a breeze with plenty of covered parking within real easy walking distance to the stores. The whole complex is really well laid out & very well kept. It’s easy to get in & out of & within minutes of major access roads / highways.

I love a shopping complex built for shopping and browsing. The Domain does that. I was in Austin for a quick visit and had the pleasure to be close to The Domain. There is a good mix of eateries, shops, entertainment, department stores and specialty stores. The open seating areas and play spaces are quite welcoming. The only downside is the navigation for drivers. I arrived at night and the lack of lines on the ground for a first time visitor is concerning. Clearly all the other drivers knew what to do but that's unnerving. This place is clearly busy, so it's time to add those white lines and direction arrows again. I've got plans to visit again in the near future.

This place has it all. Great restaurants and shops. Friendly and welcoming vibe. Safe place to bring to the kids. When we went, it was all decorated for Christmas, which made it even nicer.

Had a nice time around the residential mall. Good parking space. Good spot to hang out with friends and family. Domain has got many things to offer, right from shopping, restaurants, gaming, multiplex.. 🎉🛍️👪 Wonderful location in North austin.

Fun vineyard experience with awesome disc golf course across the property. There is both a tasting room, an outdoor pavilion & a restaurant. The wine was fine, nothing blew me away, but the whole vibe is great. Didn’t get to eat at the restaurant so I’ll be back to sample the cuisine some time in the near future. They do private events on site too.

Simply fantastic! Superb beyond expectations! Atmosphere, staff, just everything and everyone was amazing! Took my wife and children for Easter Saturday - obviously a busy time - we tried a tasting of several wines and enjoyed every one of them and the live music. At the Bistro restaurant, my wife and I had the Chef's 3 course meal and paired wine tasting that was out of this world ... beyond expectation. The owner even spent time with us and talked with the kids to make sure everyone was enjoying the experience. It was a special experience for everyone and really had fun...will definitely be back!

We put on a race here and the staff was SO awesome to work with! Can’t wait to come back and do it again next year. Highly recommend their wine and surprisingly great tasting pizza 🍕!! The vineyard was huge and beautiful. Had a disc golf course. Come check them out!!

Wanted to visit a vineyard and winery for my recent birthday and Flat Creek did not disappoint! We made reservations to sit in the bistro because the Texas summer heat can be overwhelming, so I highly recommend doing the same if you do not want to sit outside. The food and wine selections were delicious and came out in a timely manner, but what I enjoyed the most was the great customer service and atmosphere. We were greeted and seated right away and the hostess even acknowledged my birthday. We also wanted to do some wine tastings, but you have to make separate reservations for that or go outside under the pavilion. The wine tasting room was pretty packed so as walk-ins we couldn’t sit in, however we were still able to do three wine tastings at our table in the bistro. I ended up walking out with a bottle to take home :) It was so worth the drive from Houston.

AMAZING experience!! I had the best wine, food, and overall best experience I've ever had in America. I'm from Spain and this place really felt like home. The owners are so nice, they explained us their vineyard and wanted us to live the whole experience. If you're thinking about going please do!! You won't regret it! Ill be back with family and Spanish friends 🍷🍇

Love this winery! We’ve visited 3 different times from the Houston area and plan to return again soon. They have amazing wines, the Bistro has wonderful food, and we really enjoyed sitting on the pavilion listening to live music with our pups while eating pizza. Totally worth a visit!

Can’t think of a single reason not to give this beautiful facility, property, staff, wine, food and entertainment 5 stars. A few friends and our pups decided to go for a hike on a cold December Day and when looking for places to hike around Lake Travis, we spotted this winery and decided to go there after the hike. And then we saw they have trails all around the property and vineyards, so we thought, why not just do it all there? We were so pleasantly surprised and impressed by this recently expanded and enhanced vineyard and winery. They even have an 18-basket Disc Golf Course! We decided to hike the course and take a self-guided tour of the vineyard. Great little 45-minute walk about and the dogs were ready to chill while we enjoyed a tasting on the patio at the Tasting Room before moving to the huge outdoor pavilion for dinner and some live music. I am sure we will be returning many times in the future. We can’t wait to see the vineyard in full bloom! This place would also make a fantastic wedding or private event venue. There’s a full service restaurant (Alero) there also (inside table service with a small patio overlooking the vineyard). We will definitely be coming back for dinner there. I encourage you to go early and spend the day here, I promise you will love it. The staff takes great care of you whether you enjoy the views of the tasting room or the patio where you may be lucky enough to find live music! Don't be afraid of a little cold weather as the fireplaces are everywhere and warm you right up! The owners are just delightful and have really done an amazing job at crafting their winery to accommodate all 💚

We had a phenomenal time at Flat Creek. Great wine, super live music and a delicious crawfish boil. Eva Horton was a delight to meet and clearly pours her heart into the vineyard. Kudos!

My spouse and I had a fantastic experience wine tasting and dining at this winery. The staff, the chef, and the food were all exceptional. Moreover, the wine here is undoubtedly among the finest in the area.

Do yourself a favor and stop by flat creek and sit on their beautiful patio and ask for Ericka ! She was an amazing server with great recommendations ! Pizza was good and the shrimp scampi delish! Ohhh and our anniversary carrot cake 😍😍yum! Wine was also sooo good we took 2 bottles home !!! Highly recommend this lovely place ! Will be back next time we are in marble falls ❤️

I had higher expectations for the food, but as other reviews mentioned it seems that the price point doesn't line up at all with the quality. We came during the brunch menu and ordered the spinach cheese dip to start with and I'm not sure what the standard for it is, but I'm truly baffled how both the chef and our server could look at it and decide it should ever leave the kitchen. What little cheese wasn't burned had been reduced to a congealed cottage cheese consistency. It's the first time I've ever sent a dish back. The chef(?) came out at some point after we sent it back and made small talk before going back inside, but never mentioned the dish to either explain or apologise. The server removed it from our ticket but didn't make any suggestions or effort to replace it. The rest of the meal was mediocre. We ordered a medium brick burger that came out well done, the crab Benedict was crab cakes that had very little flavour, the seasonal salad was an underwhelming plain spinach salad with a sprinkling of blueberries and strawberries and a dressing you don't need to write home about, the smoked brisket in the hash didn't taste smoked. Decided against dessert because I didn't want to see if it would match the rest of the experience. Overall I want to rate the food 1/5, maybe 2/5 because the staff are kind. The third star is for the beauty of the vineyard, the music and the quality of the wine. The Super Texas was a little too astringent for my tastes, but the rest of the wines are beautiful and definitely unique. I recommend people should go for the wine, the views and the live music, but eat before you go or stick to the pizzas.

We had my daughter’s 21st birthday celebration here and it was absolutely amazing!!! The staff was so incredibly friendly and went to great lengths to make her day special. Erica in the Bistro was exceptional and we just fell in love with her. We are planning to return and we will make a point to say hello to this sweet, sweet gal! The wines are wonderful and the atmosphere, live music and beautiful location all meld together to give you an experience you will want to repeat!

First time visitor here and was surprised we didnt find this gem of a place sooner ! It is 30 mins from cedar park and so much closer compared to Dripping springs and Fredricksburg . Such a beautiful ride here in a cloudy day and the winery also was very pretty inside and outside . The service was good and we had a wine tasting session sitting outside with birds singing in the cute outdoor patio , was super relaxing . The person working there explained each wine so clearly and we loved the whites here, especially the muscat blanc. The fruit and nut and chocolate plate was also so good. This will be our go to winery from now on for a quick visit .

I cannot say enough about how cool this place is... Just around the corner from Lago Vista (close to us). We've been several times now and did Pamela's birthday there (late October 2023) and then again New Year's Eve there (2023). The place is damned near magical. Great atmosphere, staff is over the top enthusiastic, no crowds, and never poor service requiring apologies. Food and wine are exceptional. It is now "our place". Shhhhh!!!!! don't tell anybody! I hope the wonderful there lasts for a long time!

Brought family from out of the country here to experience the eclipse and so glad we did! The estate was absolutely stunning and the staff was fabulous. Yes they were busy they handled it with grace and professionalism and took great care of us. The vineyards were so beautiful and as a sommelier, it was so fun looking at all the different varietals they grow. We did a guided wine tasting which was delicious. The live music was a great touch and we even got to chat with the owner for a bit and he was so nice. So many other places had insane ticket prices for eclipse events and not only was Flat Creek reasonably priced, but it felt like we got more than we bargained for at a great value. 12/10 would recommend.

Absolutely stunning and fantastic place! The staff was amazing and the owners are incredibly welcoming! The attention to detail and work that has been put into the property is unparalleled. I’m looking forward to planning our next trip there! It was truly and amazing time!

To say I had garden envy is a complete understatement. Everything here looked so lush and vibrant. The staff tending to the plants were super friendly and willing to share knowledge on the plants and property. Everything is very well kept and you can tell the staff take huge pride over their facility. My husband and 5 year old are avid spring swimmers and jumped right in. Rope swing was a hit. My 16yr old and myself enjoyed sunning on the surrounding rocks and watching the wildlife. The pool was gorgeous and it was so cool to watch the water flow into the pool, out again, down the water fall and into the spring pool. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone thinking of visiting.

Great private camping site, inside a ranch, with access to a pool where 20+ natural springs converge and spill down to a swimming hole in the creek below. The swimming hole is over 6 ft deep in some areas and even has a small cave and swing rope. There are not as many restrictions on where to set your tent or your fire pit, as in a regular public park. There is water and electricity at the 24 RV spots with picnic tables and grills ( on the top level), but not at the more primitive tents sites which are spread out on the 2nd and 1st levels in elevation. The 3 restrooms are clean, but no hot water in the showers. No dogs or glass containers allowed.

Beautiful spot for a refreshing day trip or camping. Both natural and more manicured areas to enjoy. My husband and I went on Labor Day, and it wasn't too crowded in the morning, but the place definitely got busier after lunch. Water was cool and clean (though a bit murky in the main pool just from getting stirred up by swimmers). Recommend arriving early to avoid the biggest crowds!

Don't shy away from the garden! The spring area is absolutely beautiful with tons of things to explore. Take your time to walk down the path to the second waterfall. It's gorgeous. The garden area is one of the most peaceful places I've ever been. You can sit in the hamock at the end of the garden and enjoy the giant wind chimes!

From the moment we stepped foot in Krause Springs we were amazed by the beauty of its garden-a true oasis. The true jewel was the spring itself. Though not as expansive as we initially thought it would be its remarkable beauty made up for it. It’s a place where you can disconnect from the hustle of your daily life and reconnect with nature! Krause Springs is a must visit for anyone seeking a peaceful escape.

The swimming experience was nothing short of fantastic, with water that was perfect for a refreshing dip. The ambiance and vibes at Krause Springs are simply unbeatable; it's a serene oasis where you can relax and unwind. If I could, I would give them 10 stars for their exceptional service, incredible swimming opportunities, and the overall amazing atmosphere. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable swim experience. Highly recommended!

What a lovely place. Absolutely spectacular. Was blown away by all the features of the place. the pools, the river, the garden. We were lucky enough that our vans were able to make it done to the river side camping area. if you have a vehicle that can do it. its a great spot down there. had a really great time. definitely worth every penny. look forward to hopefully coming back.

If you want a truly quiet and relaxing time camping and rving this place is the best bang for your buck with the springs near by. The facilities were nice (rv area) and the lawns were kept maintained. You can bring your mountain bikes and ride along the rocks and have a good time or go near by to Pedernales state park. My only complaint is that Gates close at 8pm and I’m young and like to go see night life especially if there are strict rules already about quiet hours. I think this could be managed better for paying customers, in addition to better reservation point of sale. The park has a website but cannot reserve which is a crutch especially when Terri does not trust the mail so if you’re traveling far you’re really banking on first come first serve. We came days before it is closed for the season and it was beautiful weather for tent camping and fire

What's not to love! We went on memorial day weekend so of course it was busy but still very enjoyable! We camped for 2 nights and loved it all! I would recommend water shoes, there's rocks, tree roots and lots of mud on the bottom. The waterfall is beyond beautiful and there's a cave right behind it you can go in. The rope swing is really cool and don't forget to jump off the ledge into the water, it's exilerating. We can't wait to be back!

Magical place for old and young. For the brave ones try the liane swing over the natural pool! Bring your own food, they only sell some soft drinks.

This place was an incredible idea and our family had tons of fun. I’m knocking 2 stars off because the water was very murky (which I know is not the parks fault, but it could help others. It felt pretty gross). We stayed in the natural pool 90% of the time, which was freezing. I removed another star because the person at the front was very rude when I asked an honest question. Nice employees would make for a better experience. Also, the bathrooms were very dirty. One bathroom didn’t even have a stall door.

I couldn’t find many reviews or pics of the RV hookups so this is dedicated to the 24 they have. Not on pads but many well shaded under legacy trees. Easy access to the pools but tucked away in the back of the property. Grills and fire pits at each with steel picnic tables. VERY well maintained. Short walk to to toilet/showers. 30 and 50 amp hooks with the usual 110 outlets. Solid and worked great. Water has good pressure and tastes great. Hookups are in far back of each spot so bring extensions; my 50 foot hose JUST made my connections at the front of our rig. Also know the sites are pretty tight to each other. Fine on a quiet weekday but might be a little close for your tastes on weekends. Overall a beautiful camp, especially this close to ATX.

I saw a tic toc video about this place at 10pm on a Friday night. I book a RV space right then on the spot and woke up the next morning and drove down from Dallas. I have a 25 ft Regency Coach (small C class RV size) that I was able to enter the property with ease. If you have a 45 ft A class it will be tight. There are not a ton of spaces maybe 24 in total is my guess. And they’re all grass pads with electric and water hook up only. The sewer dump in next to the public restroom and there will be a line if you’re not an early riser. Was it worth it, yes. The cost for a space was reasonable. The ride down from Dallas was priceless during the spring bluebonnet season!!!! The hills and winding roads or so picturesque it’s unreal. Crossing over the Colorado River at Lake Marble Falls was heavenly. I didn’t have time to stop there but I’m going back for Marble Falls. Now back to the campsite. It is a privately owned property and decently kept. A little too tall grass under one of the fifth wheels next to me. That makes me nervous about what’s crawling at the foot of my steps when coming and going. There was no trash in the grounds it was very clean for a semi full park. More dry tent campers than RVs. The best experiences included THE AMAZING HUDGE FIVE FOOT WIND CHIMES hanging in the trees in a garden near the entry. It created the most amazing sound garden experience I’ve ever had. I am master gardener and I’m investing in buying these for my home today! The water falls, ponds and trees are heaven!!! It’s worth at least one night. I don’t see me staying there for days at a time but that’s just me. A wanderer. Only 4 stars because of grass pads and no full hookups for RV. The staff was nice and if I could rate the beauty of the nature likes and falls I’d give it a FIVE separately.

Perhaps it was the wrong time of the season to come but water was dark and looks too dirty, our daughters wouldnt come in to swim o tried to get them in the pool area and still no. Place is not that big and much to do. Staff was really friendly helpful. Many nice places to park was available. We had a roof top tent camping sites had tables . Bathroom has no hot water and low water pressure. Pack plenty of food and water because they do. Not have any restaurants inside

Just magical. We went on a Wednesday and it was basically empty. We enjoyed swimming, walking around the property, taking photos by the waterfall, and especially laying in the garden hammock and listening to the wind chimes. Definitely check this gem out!

best place i’ve been!!!! the butterfly garden was STUNNING amidst the hot texas weather, it was such a beautiful oasis. the waterfall was the star of the place and the water was so refreshing! the rope swing was a huge hit as well! there is SO much camping space with picnic tables at each place. everywhere is a easy walking distance from the water. 10/10 place, i wish i didn’t have to leave!

Had a great time here during my birthday week! Not too crowded when I went . The garden was so peaceful and lovely, the pool was dope and the mini waterfall and natural pond that you can swim in was the best! Felt like a hidden gem!
