Dan Fienberg Hollywood Reporter I doubt we're going to still be singing these songs in a decade, much less in 40 years, but it's an inspiring hour of Fourth of July viewing and I'd be curious to watch more installments. Jul 7, 2021 Full Review Emma Silvers San Francisco Chronicle The animation is fresh and engaging, with modern musical artists... But as the videos cycle through topics including free speech, the courts and federal versus state power, it's tough not to hear echoes of an older desperation in their assertions. Rated: 2/4 Jul 6, 2021 Full Review Caroline Framke Variety We the People is, at its core, well-meaning. It's just not especially illuminating in the way it would like to be, having preemptively stopped itself from exploring anything beyond the basics. Jul 6, 2021 Full Review Ashley Moulton Common Sense Media We the People will be a breath of fresh air for teens who are learning about civics in school (and teachers looking to add some pizzazz to their lesson plans). Hannah Fantastic, amazing way to learn US history and laws. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/27/22 Full Review Audience Member This is an awful interpretation of the Bill of Rights and Constitution. I put this on for my 4 year old and turned it off after the first episode until I could review every episode with my wife. I know Netflix gives almost everything a green light but even knowing that, my wife and I were stunned that people were paid for creating this. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This series is exactly what this nation needed! I learned more in 20 minutes than 4 years of high school! They didnt even show us how to do taxes in VA public schooling. Applause to the Obama's a masterpiece! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
