The rooms need upgrading. Issues with hot water in the shower and the shower heads and faucets. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible and not great for anyone with knee problems. Also the breakfast buffet was lacking. Should be considered more of a continental. Wonderful staff. Helpful and welcoming front desk. Although I understand the nature of any Hotel establishment is to generate revenue (especially in Jamaica’s present economic downturn) and remain profitable I find it quite distressing and bothersome at how the quality at the Knutsford Court has eroded within one year’s timeframe. I patronized the hotel in 2018 during the CARNIVAL festivities and had a rather pleasant stay. Fast forward to 2019, I do not have words to express my disappointment. Restaurant: You served guests stew cabbage on the breakfast buffet and I must say I truly did not believe my eyes. When ordering off the menu...while the food items may have been arranged nicely on my plate I hardly enjoyed the inedible pieces of oxtail at dinner and the overly salty cured codfish at breakfast. Recently stopped in the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston Jamacia lovely relaxing hotel to stop at the food was great and the staff was brilliant the facilities were great the only thing that let them down was the poor quality wine which was expensive and there was no white wine available which was quite poor and the bedrooms looked quite tired looking but they were clean and would go back again andcthw manager Owen was a brilliant host thanks Gary & Sue

This hotel (pronounced "nutsford" per our Jamaican guide), has lovely grounds, very nice restaurant/bar named the Melting Pot and attractive lobby with computer area for residents to make use of. The service is extremely courteous and helpful. We enjoyed several meals at the Melting Pot and sitting by the pool. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was difficult to adjust, so I froze at night. Call for help if this happens to you. In retrospect I think the batteries were exhausted on the remote control and if I'd called when we first noticed it, that might have been fixed.

I arrived to Kingston in a hairy state in the evening and my friend drove me to a few hotels for me to select from. After seeing the air conditioning worked well and the soft bed, I was sold! I ended up staying there for a week because I was so comfortable. The staff became so considerate and served with excellence from the concierge desk to the housekeeping. They really do care about making your stay an exceptional experience and how can you doubt the genuine smiles they give you? The only thing I'd change is to have a coffee maker in the room rather than having to go down to the breakfast bar each morning. If you are like me and don't want any scary surprises at your hotel, book at the Knutsford. The only surprise you'll get is like me- you don't want to check out!

I did not even want to give this hotel 1 star it’s because there wasn’t another option. I got married here and the service was poor. We booked 3 rooms, for the bridal party from the night before our wedding. Also a day room for the grooms men. That’s 4 rooms in all. There was no water in the rooms. Not even 1 bottle of water. We had to call and ask someone to bring us some bottled water as we were all thirsty. The wedding time was changed and we had to see a notice to realize this we weren’t told that the time we selected would have not been suitable for the hotel. We had to check out after getting ready for the wedding and no one cared to assist us with our bags to the car. We all had to be dressed up and hauling our suitecase to the car. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, as you are surrounded by a lot of activities and entertainment. The staff was extremely helpful, the food was great and the room was cute. Also, they had two weddings on one day, so I guess the locals like it as well.

Really nice , clean rooms and property. Local food was also within walking distance. Internet had good speeds. Front desks were very helpful and polite. I was a bit early however they still allowed me to check in early which was great as i had to prepare and get dressed for the meeting.

This is a decent hotel at half the price of the slightly more upscale ones. Staff is very warm and helpful. Rooms are clean. Also had a spacious lobby with plenty of seating space for small business meetings.

We stayed here during a short trip to Kingston and had a comfortable stay. The hotel was centrally located with friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean with effective air conditioning. The hotel has a gym and an outdoor pool which looked inviting however we didn't get the chance to use it. The buffet breakfast proved a great way to start the day also. I would definitely stay here again.

Hi, the Knutsford is in New Kingston by Emancipation Park. Trenchtown is about 4-5 miles away and with the poor road traffic, usually takes 20 minutes to get there. I would not recommend going to visit Trenchtown unless you are with a local familiar with that area. Stay safe. Enjoy!

They have 2 restaurants. Prices are average. Dinner for 2 can average US$55. Several restaurants are in close proximity so you can explore your options. Some eateries also deliver. You can check the local telephone directory or the front desk.
