I’m pleased to recommend the exceptional “Sterling Inn & Spa” for the following reasons:

1. Upon arrival at this beautiful boutique hotel, I was greeted by Mikayla at the front desk. She was friendly and very customer service oriented. She not only accommodated my request for an early check in, she also ensured that my room had a jetted tub overlooking the tv. Thank you so much Mikayla, you’re the best!
2. The “Deluxe Room” I stayed in was fantastic! It’s large and spacious, with an oversized jetted tub and shower. The room has a very comfortable king size bed and an adjoining living room with a large tv over the fireplace. The room also has a fridge with a freezer, in-room safe and iron & ironing board. Plus, most importantly it was cleaned to perfection by the lovely and kind housekeeping team.
3. The extra touches that make this Inn so special include a complimentary “Breakfast in Bed” tray with hot French Pressed Coffee, Orange Juice, Egg & Cheese Wrap, Croissant with butter & jam as well as fresh Fruit. The room also had 2 free bottles of water; a coffee & tea maker (In the room and in the lobby); bath bomb; slippers; beautiful smelling shower gel, moisturizer, shampoo & conditioner.

Because of Covid-19 the restaurant and Spa were closed. That wasn’t a problem because I brought my own champagne as well as everything I needed for my own self spa. And I ordered my dinner with “Skip the Dishes”. However, when it’s safe to dine out again the Inn is walking distance from lots of restaurants and the main attractions of Niagara Falls.

Book now. You won’t be disappointed. You’ll love it!

Thank you “Sterling Inn & Spa” for a wonderful stay. I loved it so much that I’m going to return next month with my mother!

Impressive Entrance with Reception just inside on the right. Friendly knowledgeable pretty staff. December 20/21 stay was amazing. Room 207 overlooks the Theater and is quieter than the street traffic. Click flooring creaks so provided with soft cotton slippers which keeps quiet transferrless noise below. Breakfast choices need to be filled out and placed on the outside door handle by 8 PM. Choosing 8 AM Room Service Breakfast in Bed gave enough time to have a steam shower in the 7 foot by 4 foot Glass enclosure then only put on the soft white robe before the Waitor came in my open bedroom door. Please read instructions for the King Stream shower or you will scald yourself as the 3 side jets shoot 7 feet long. Staying at the Sterling Inn and enjoying the Spa Massage is better than living at Buckingham palace...AG Restaurant inhouse offers awesome room service until indoor dining is permitted in January 2021. Very grateful for a Spectacular Vacation.

We’re locals and decided to do a stay-cation somewhere in the Falls for our covid anniversary. Sterling is a “boutique” hotel, not a big chain, so it’s got a lot more character and charm. I’d recommend it for adult couples. There is no pool, and the hallways and rooms are quiet which we appreciated.

First, the shower. When you book direct, you get the option of a jacuzzi tub or steam shower. Get the shower. It’s a glass enclosed walk-in, with a rainfall shower head and three body jets. You can turn the steamer on and turn the shower into your own personal sauna. Way better (and probably more hygienic) than a jacuzzi or pool.

The room itself was very pretty, with exposed wood beams, a balcony, mini fridge, and fireplace. Had a bit of trouble because the bathroom door handle fell off, but we reported it and maintenance went and fixed it while we went out.

You will also get continental breakfast delivered to the room each morning at your preferred time. We received yogurt, granola, an apple and orange, fresh croissant, orange juice, and a tortilla wrapped omelette (think McDonald’s). The only downfall was that this was the same both mornings we were there. It would be nice if there was some variety, especially over the weekends. I’m not sure if we were operating the French press incorrectly, but the coffee was horrid. However they do have free coffee in the lobby.

The highlight of the stay was the couples massage. It’s the first massage we’ve had since Covid hit, and it was very hygienic. Everything was changed out between patrons, and we could see them disinfecting from the tables to the floors. Tim and Steve were wonderful, and we’ll definitely come back for another massage.

Overall a nice stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights for our wedding. Hotel was absolutely beautiful and rooms were huge! We stayed in the bridal suite which was better than expected.

The breakfast in bed each day was delicious and a very welcomed accommodation. The breakfast staff was always right on time for the times you selected.

Dined at the AG restaurant onsite and it was spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious! We were booked in the private chefs table room for our wedding night dinner and were treated very well by our waiter Jeffrey!

Hotel was very clean and close walking distance to Clifton hill and restaurants. Rated a 4 (wanted to do 4.5 but app wouldn’t allow it). Would have rated a 5 star except the housekeeping was sub-par. We were fairly disappointed with the housekeeping; not the cleanliness as they did a good job once they came; but the issue was getting someone to clean our room. I felt as the bride and groom we would have maybe had a little more attention on our room; but instead the night before our wedding I had to call the front desk at 5:30pm asking someone to come clean our room after seeing housekeeping from 10:00am that morning (this is not a huge hotel with lots of rooms either). Another day we left at 10:30am and were not back to our room until 4:00pm and opened our door to see it was still not cleaned. This was more upsetting considering when we left that morning they were cleaning the room beside ours and said good morning to us as we left so they saw our room was available to clean.

I would suggest either coaching your cleaning staff, hiring more cleaning staff as well I would suggest on the opposite side of the DO NOT DISTURB sign adding a CLEAN MY ROOM sign. This has been at hotels we’ve stayed in in the past and works very well and demonstrates good communication between the guests and the staff.

Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other people looking for a nice boutique hotel that isn’t a comfort inn.
I would definitely hope the housekeeping would be improved though as the hotel is definitely worth 5 stars with that and I wouldn’t want to see people deterred from staying there because they can’t get clean towels.

Stayed a weekend in September 2020. Covid protocols were well established and all the surfaces in the room were very clean. Room was nice, big, comfy bed. Staff were great.

Couple of not great things: Shower had urine smell. Floors were not clean (my socks were dirty walking around the room), the bed linens were too small for the bed.

Sheets were clean, all surfaces in the room were clean, staff were nice and covid protocols were mostly being followed. (There was no garbage near the coffee station in the lobby so someone left a dirty cup and no staff had remove, was the only issue we saw).

Even with the negatives, we did have a good stay, price was right and the location was very good with lots of onsite parking and easily walkable to restaurants and attractions.

The value is in the little details. We like the room layouts and approach to breakfast. The US hotels keep upping their "resort fees" which makes pricing seem like a bait and switch. Here we pay the price we are quoted. We also like that we can walk to the casinos in under 15 minutes, but that we are separate enough to have a quiet night's stay. The dinner in the restaurant is truly worth visiting and we reccomend a night out for dinner there. We will stay here again.

My wife and I decided to go for a romantic couple of days away and decided to try The Sterling. We were honestly blown away at the size or our room. The room is very spacious, in no way will you feel squished like most of the rooms in the big chain hotels. Our room had the jacuzzi tub which we took full advantage of. The king bed was very comfortable, the breakfast the next morning was delivered on time and the egg wraps were still hot! Not the usual case with some of the room service we've experienced in the past at other hotels.

There were just a few minor annoyances, the tv is very difficult to find any free cable channels if you want to just relax a little before dinner or bed and not get into a 2 hour movie ( lots of on demand however). It would be nice if there was a way to separate the two from the guide. It also took quite a while for the water to become hot to take a shower or fill the jacuzzi but once it arrived, there was definitely no shortage and it was definitely hot. Both, very minor issues that will not keep us from returning.

Overall, there is no better value anywhere in the falls that we could find. With it only being a 5-10 minute walk to the falls, why pay 50-60% more just to be in hotel closer with a basic room and amenities? We decided to make this our destination spot when we need a romantic getaway. We can't wait to book a little more time to take advantage of the spa and try a room with the steam shower next time.

Quiet, low key, yet upscale hotel situated within a short walk to many of the local attractions, restaurants, and venues offered in Niagara Falls. Clean, well appointed, spacious rooms. Restaurant on site has an upscale menu, but found the prices a bit high. With the an abundance of local eateries we opted to find more economical places to dine. Front desk staff were friendly and courteous and always ready to help. This is not a high rise hotel with views of the falls, but you're only about a 15 minute walk to the falls. You're close to all that's going on but away from the crowds of people. Will definitely consider staying here again if returning to Niagara Falls.

Wanted an overnight getaway to celebrate my spouse’s birthday and we can’t wait to return! Main floor jacuzzi suite was bigger than my 1st apartment! We understand no two rooms are the same in this unique boutique hotel. The steam shower spoiled us, and the delicious breakfast in the big, comfy bed beside the electric fireplace was an added bonus. Be sure to add the pastries for a small up charge- but bring a takeaway container to enjoy later (as you will be full from breakfast), - they are just too good to pass up! The on site restaurant, AG Inspired Cuisine, was highly recommended by the very friendly and knowledgeable GM Deanna. So glad we took her advice as dinner was outstanding! Best beef tenderloin we’ve had. Loved the room service options too! While there isn’t a view of the falls, it’s within easy walking distance, but you may not want to leave your room, except to enjoy the on site Spa! Overall, this was the perfect place to enjoy a romantic escape!

We made the trip up for a long weekend getaway. We stayed in the King Room with Steam Shower. The room was clean and very spacious! The shower doubled as a steam room which was relaxing and every room has an electric fireplace. Housekeeping does not make up your room during the pandemic but we called for extra towels and had them brought down immediately. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were old and extremely lumpy which made it impossible to rest peacefully. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. We did not get to have a massage because they were booked up both days and closed on the holiday. I imagine covid has restricted the number of people they can see in a day. The “Breakfast in bed” service was limited and the same thing each day - a croissante, scrambled egg in a wrap, an apple and orange, orange juice, and yogurt with granola. We would have liked more options like toast, home-fries or waffles / pancakes. Parking fee was $17.99 / day. Other than the room being spacious and the steam room in the shower, it didn’t strike me as anything special.
