James Berardinelli ReelViews This was a bad movie when it was released. It is a bad movie today. And it will continue to be a bad movie long after this planet ceases to exist. Rated: 1/4 May 6, 2024 Full Review David Stratton Sydney Morning Herald There are a few good jokes along the way, but the final effect is that we've been here rather too many times before. Dec 15, 2020 Full Review Michael Burkett Orange County Register Sound the horns, light the speakers, and cue the marching band, because Howard the Duck is here -- and bad movie historians could not ask for a more mallard-droit venture than this. Dec 15, 2020 Full Review Avaryl Halley Movie Bitches I like this better than the Prequels. The choices are strong and wrong…I mean they storyboarded duck tits!! Rated: 6/10 Apr 24, 2024 Full Review Andrew Galdi Movie Bitches I honestly think if you rescored this movie you could improve it by 50% Rated: 4.5/10 Apr 24, 2024 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn The third act dragged on seemingly forever...the effects, acting, story asked a lot of me as a viewer. Howard's design was unsettling. Rated: 1/5 Sep 3, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Alec B I wouldn't go so far to say it's good (the movie is too long, and the tone is all over the place) but this is so far from "one of the worst movies ever made" that I am honestly suprised this has such a negative reputation. Save your bile for something lazy and boring! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/17/24 Full Review Derek L Howard the Duck felt very lifeless with a bland story, zero character development and an inconsistent tone. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review Jay O 80s kids movie at its best Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Angelo G It's so bad that it's good... It obviously isn't as good as the MCU, but it was basically the first Marvel movie ever. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Paul H better than the last starfighter and more realistic than flight of the navigator this brave little guy saves humanity from the dark overlords of the universe, another genius tale from the stand up guys at marvel, wow Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review DuranimusPrime You know what? "Howard the Duck" is like that quirky, retro t-shirt you find at a thrift store. Sure, the critics weren't fans, but this flick has soared into the realm of 80s cult classics. It's like a time capsule for me. Have you ever rewatched old movies and they just don't hit the same? "Howard the Duck" isn't one of those. It's a total blast from the past that keeps its charm. It's goofy, sure, and maybe a bit silly, but it's got this undeniable charm that makes it a must-watch. It's like a no-brainer, chill-out kind of movie from the 80s. The comic book version of Howard is this hidden gem in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His comics? Pure satire gold, poking fun at the craziness of our world. I'm crossing my fingers that Marvel brings back our feathered friend for more adventures. Who knows what they could cook up with him?
