Synopsis
A white stallion escapes after being stolen, and young Stephanie Ward rescues him. Stephanie names the horse Lightning and grows to love him. The horse's first owner has been searching for him and finds him, just as Stephanie learns that she will need an expensive operation. Lightning is entered in the Nationals, and all hopes are pinned on his winning first prize which will pay for his best friend's medical procedure.
