A year after making their first public appearance together, the couple sat courtside for a New York Knicks basketball game in Madison Square Garden and appeared to be having a great time together.

December 2019: Sydney Sweeney talks about wanting to settle down in Chicago

During an interview with Elite Daily, Sweeney seemingly referenced Davino when she talked about one day wanting to live in Chicago, where Davino's family owns 14th Round and Finalbell, a device technology and packaging company.

"I have a place there," she told the publication. "It's like my getaway place." When asked whom she knows in Chicago, she coyly replied, "A friend."

November 2020: Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino vacation in Maui

Almost a year after talking about wanting to settle down in Chicago, Sweeney and Davino jetted off to Maui, Hawaii, for a romantic getaway. During their trip, the two were seen hugging and sharing a kiss as they took a dip in the water.

February 2022: Sydney Sweeney talks about not dating people in the spotlight

Sweeney gave a rare glimpse into her personal life during her cover story for Cosmopolitan's Love Issue.

When asked what she looks for in a partner, she replied, "I look for a best friend. I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day."

The newly-revealed engaged couple was seen outside of a Los Angeles spa with Sweeney's dog enjoying a day together.

Sweeney briefly came outside of the spa to take a phone call in a white robe embroidered with the logo of her television series The White Lotus. It was the first time Sweeney and Davino were spotted together since their engagement became public.

July 2022: Sydney Sweeney says she wants to be a young mom

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sweeney opened up about her future plans beyond Hollywood. "I want to have a family, I've always wanted to be a young mom," she told the publication.

The Euphoria star also discussed her worries about the "stigma" the industry puts on young women who have children, and how taking time off to raise a family might impact her career.

"If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don't have income to cover that," she explained. "I don't have someone supporting me, I don't have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help."

Despite speaking about her family aspirations, THR noted that Sweeney "decline[d] to comment on her relationship status and doesn't wear a ring to the interview."

August 9, 2023: Sydney Sweeney says she doesn't care about Glen Powell romance rumors

Sweeney will star with Glen Powell in the upcoming romantic comedy Anyone But You. While filming in Australia, the pair became close and fans began to speculate that a romance was brewing between them. The rumors were then fueled by Powell's split from his then-girlfriend, Gigi Paris.

"It’s really great to work with someone who knows you so well, who fully supports your ideas, your vision and your voice."

"And it’s nice. I mean, who doesn’t want to be with their best friend all the time?” Sweeney continued.

March 2, 2024: Sydney Sweeney calls Jonathan Davino the 'man of my dreams' on Saturday Night Live

While hosting Saturday Night Live in March 2024, Sweeney made a rare comment about Davino during her monologue as she addressed rumors that she had an affair with her costar Glen Powell while filming Anyone But You.

"That's obviously not true," she added, explaining, "Me and my fiancé produced the movie together and he was there the entire shoot, and I just want to let everyone know that he's the man of my dreams and we're still together and stronger than ever."

"He even came here tonight to support me, Can we cut to him?" she asked as the camera cut to none other than Powell himself sitting in the audience, prompting cheers from the crowd.
