Born in Flint, MI, and now in Davison, I contribute to my community on the City Council and Planning Commission. My entrepreneurial spirit has thrived—from the film industry to running my business in Genesee County, honing diverse skills. As a licensed Real Estate Agent, I'm also dedicated to education, pursuing Political Science and Business Marketing at Mott Community College.

In 2022, running for Governor of Michigan deepened my commitment to enhancing lives in my community. My vision extends beyond the present, aiming to attract new residents and create a brighter future, including my three children.

Facing divorce and subsequent homelessness, I emerged resilient and driven to succeed. This experience reinforced my determination to build a community supporting families. With a foundation in entrepreneurship, public service, and continual learning, I'm dedicated to a lasting positive impact.

On the City Council and Planning Commission, it's been amazing to see the strength and passion to succeed of all our residents. It's essential to have a representative valuing community input and actively seeking your opinions. Your concerns shape decisions impacting our daily lives, families & future. I commit to being a candidate who listens, consults regularly, and ensures your voice resonates in every decision made. Together, we can forge a path reflecting collective priorities, creating a place where each resident feels heard and empowered.

  • Consultative Decision-Making Unlike the current commissioners, I believe in transparent and inclusive decision-making. I pledge to actively consult with local cities and engage with constituents before making any major decisions. Your opinions and concerns will be the guiding force behind my actions.
  • Preserving Local Courts I am deeply committed to preserving the vital out-county courts that serve our communities. The current plan to centralize courts at the McCree Building raises concerns about accessibility and fairness. As your commissioner, I will advocate for a more balanced and community focused approach to ensure everyone has equal access to justice, as well as keeping your tax dollars in your community rather than downtown Flint.
  • Innovative Solutions and Economic Growth I am dedicated to introducing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to our community. As your commissioner, I'll explore new avenues for economic development, job creation, and community enhancement. Together, let's embrace change and transform our district into a dynamic hub for progress and opportunity.

Financial transparency and government accountability are foundational in effective governance:

Transparency builds public trust by providing easy access to understandable financial information, demonstrating a commitment to openness and accountability in public fund use.

Holding officials accountable for financial decisions ensures efficient allocation of public funds for the greater good.

Critics argue that it may lead to administrative burdens or privacy concerns, emphasizing the need to strike a balance between transparency and privacy. Nevertheless, a commitment to financial transparency and government accountability is essential for a robust and trustworthy democracy, ensuring responsible resource utilization for the community's best interest.

"I'm dedicated to finding sensible solutions. Education is a priority, ensuring policies meet varied student needs. For economic growth, I support fiscal responsibility and reducing regulatory burdens. National security requires both military strength and smart diplomacy. Healthcare needs a mixed approach, combining free-market principles and targeted government intervention. My passion is bridging gaps, seeking pragmatic solutions for citizen well-being and national prosperity, moving forward together for a resilient society."

I vaguely remember Desert Storm, but it was the 2000 Presidential election, Gore vs. Bush, that really grabbed my attention. Turning 18, I was so excited to finally vote, but sadly my birthday was three days after the election on November 7th. So, instead of hitting the polls, I found myself glued to (what I thought would be) the wildest election of my lifetime.

That experience sparked a newfound interest in politics. I wanted to unravel the complexities, understand how the gears turned, and grasp the historical backdrop that led to such a pivotal moment. Fast forward a year, and the event forever to be known as 9/11 hit. I watched in disbelief as our nation and its vibrant people, came under attack. It hit me hard and pushed me to channel that shock into a commitment to be involved and ensure we never faced such a tragedy again.
