It's a 100-year-old Si-He-Yuan house among the mountain, the east-side-wall of the house is a part of the Great Wall. So our house is located in the countryside, not in DOWNTOWN Beijing.

Very good location to do the Great Wall hike away from the crowded areas. The host prrivided a detailed map of routes to take doing the wall and what was nearby to the hostel.Our host was very nice and was excellent in communication on WeChat. The facilities and rooms were all very clean and the showers were great too. There are cats here but they are well behaved. Overall very welcoming and friendly

Amazing hostel that's also a fantastic gateway to hiking the Great wall. Xiaowei is simply a really sweet host. There's a small language barrier but it's still easily overcome. The facilities are of very high quality and everything's kept very clean. My only regret is not having had more than 2 nights here

Amazing location for walking the remote parts of the Great Wall. Just note, there isnâ€™t really anything near the hostel in terms of restaurants etc. but the hostel do provide very delicious meals but it is your only choice really. The dorm came equipped with a big heater so fine in winter. Not much atmosphere as was just me there! But I imagine in summer it is a great set up with a big lounge/dining area to stay in.
