Exclusive! Mohan Joshi: I am a workaholic; can’t wait to get back to work

Veteran actor Mohan Joshi was shooting for his Marathi show Aggabai Suunbai in Goa, when he tested positive for COVID-19. The actor, who has now recovered, posted a video on Instagram about the same, and urged his fans to follow all safety protocols and get vaccinated at the earliest.
Speaking to us about battling and beating COVID-19, Joshi shared, “Thankfully, I had no major symptoms and there were no health complications whatsoever.I followed every instruction that was given to me by the doctor. I had quarantined in the hotel that we were shooting in at Goa after testing positive. Eight days after testing negative, I flew back to Mumbai and isolated myself for a few more days at my residence as a precautionary measure.”

In the meantime, his show, Aggabai Suunbai, shifted base to Daman after the Goa government revoked permission for shoots in the state. However, the actor is looking forward to resuming work by the end of this month. “When I was in self-isolation, I would feel very awkward as I had nothing to do. I am a workaholic and I can’t sit idle. But it was my passion for getting back to work that kept me motivated. I used to keep telling myself that I must recover so that I can get back to work soon. It gave me a lot of strength. Now, I can’t wait to reach Daman to resume the shoot of my show,” he said.
