Reviews
- Edited 4 months agoOutstanding take on the My Fair Lady book with a swingin' trio and light orchestra (at times). Ray Brown sounds amazing on bass. OP Is masterful no matter the content; he manages to find interesting ways to interpret the music. Highlights are "...Accustomed To Her Face", "Get Me To The Church", and "Show Me".
Beautiful recording, nicely mixed in mono. An older pressing, but still holds up.
4 stars. - Vastly underrated/unknown set by Oscar; beautiful playing, a couple songs are solo or with low-key backing, a couple are full gallop Trio.
