Chris and Stefan invite Victor to join their group where they talk about their experiences with women over a meal of red meat. As the night progresses, Stefan relates his wild encounters with fleeting sex, Chris talks about his need for intellectual stimulation, and Victor recounts his relationship with a dying woman.

Not exactly sure how to rate this one. It's a well-made movie (an obvious low-budget indie that makes the most of its limited means) with some sharp dialogue and a very strong cast. But far too much screen time is devoted to garbage characters who'd have fewer problems in their life if they just stopped being garbage. I get that it's the point, and the story spares us from any sort of pandering, condescending redemptive arc, but this is the most slap-worthy assemblage of people outside of a third-rate slasher sequel.
Most people that were born after 1998 won't enjoy or understand this masterpiece of human introspection by the brilliant writer and director who made it. Watch it if you understand and are interested in philosophy of human nature and/or are soul seeking.
