Synopsis:
Charn is a clever and ruthless lawyer inclined to accept high-paying and high-profile cases that will bring him renown. On one occasion, he's taken off a case as it's gaining widespread interest. Having lost face and oportunity, he's suspisious of the reason for his removal and wants to get his revenge. He suspects he can find something hidden within the case for his own profit. Charn therefore decides to switch sides to Tinn, the uncle of Tonkhao, a young girl who was struck and killed by a car and failed to recieve justice. The two come together to search for the truth.
Despite holding opposing views, their closeness brings about new feelings. As their work becomes more and more dangerous, the two become certain that this case is not at all ordinary.

This FINALE was honestly one of the most satisfying finales I have ever watched. Usually, we are left with monsters just being left to repent but here THANKFULLY that was not the case, and it FELT SO GOOD. I think I even smiled like Charn does while it was happening.
Then the NEPO BABY AND M-ANNY story just kept getting better and we got a tiny kiss and honestly that was more than I ever expected!! 🥰
Nawin NAILED IT AGAIN!!! Might just be my favorite character 🥰🥰🥰
And the ladies Rose and Maya OMG I LOVED THEM especially in this episode!!!! SO HOT AND SWEET AND BADASSES AND Maya's outfit was so cute!!
Then the entire lovely ending with the MOST PERFECTWEDDING OUTFITS EVER and the girls getting engaged too 🥹🥹🥹

I know that wedding was about the boys, but damn I couldn’t keep my eyes off Maya and Rose. That song was perfect. 😍
The most satisfying thing for me was the Chaos Gremlin kept gremlining right to the very end. And Sexy Uncle just accepted it, being satisfied with him at least doing a couple of decently good things and not being outright evil. Sounds like a solid compromise to me. 😂
That compromise was hilarious right after he had just ordered the murder of that monster 😅
The only thing that would have made it better would be a return of Galaxia.
I just binged everything this weekend and it was a great watch and I agree with everything you said. The finale was very fulfilling and I am glad for the wedding, the second engagement and the KISS BETWEEN TAN AND THEE!!! Tan's father was a disaster to watch. he emotionally damaged his son in so many ways that I only hope Thee can help to recover him over time.
Nawin was fantastic too! Love him and would want to watch him in another show as lead!

I was initially saying why did he tell Tan to turn himself in so easily (if he was a loving and powerful father) then I realized he did not like his son and WANTED HIM TO TURN HIMSELF IN FOR A CRIME HE DID NOT COMMIT!! Then he told him he could never loved him because of the mom and look on how he beat up Thee to spite his son OMG WHAT A HORRIBLE CHARACTER. He is high up on the list with Not from Be my Favorite hahahahahahaha

I wish Tan and Thee had a conversation about how they always loved each other or something before they got together. I was hoping for that even in the final episode but sadly didn’t happen. It kinda felt like they edited out few scenes so hopefully we get some deleted scenes. But overall it was a entertaining show and ending was pretty solid.
I was also hoping for a love confession of some sort... but they skipped all that, I guess.

Yes they did but I would have loved to see them talk more about their feelings and professed how they loved each other for years 🫣😆 I am a sucker for childhood friends turned lovers trope so I was craving for more fleshed out story for Tan and thee. But considering they were the second lead their story was developed pretty well :)
As a second couple I was expecting so much less than what we got so I am honestly so happy we got as much as we did.
I also lately have come to realize that people need words to feel the affection while I find that affection shown doesn't require words.
It's crazy how different we all are and how we need different things from characters to get the most out of them.
Look, everyone get their deserved ending but the son shouldn't be that happy. He's got no income now and frankly no employable skill. The bodyguard has to feed him for life and what did he get? A peck to the lips and a kiss off-camera. He deserves a raise, and we deserve to see the raise.
Wait, what? With the evil Senator's death in jail, without trial or conviction, no legal reason his only son wouldn't inherit the mansion and all the ill-gotten gains. The former political allies and business associates would all distance themselves, of course, but without Senator Thatthep alive to owe compensation, claims against his estate would go nowhere.
Instead, I see Charn stepping in to represent Thaenthai against all comers, having sympathized with him as a scapegoat earlier, and Tin nearly persuading Methee to tell the truth about Tonkhao's murder. Charn was careful to clear Thaenthai of complicity during the streamed confession.
I'm seeing a Happy, and financially comfortable, Ever After for both couples, and probably a social friendship among them as well.
I see this future clearly! I loved it when Charn cleared the son at the warehouse!!
I mean, I didn't think that far. All I know is that the son would probably be dependent on the bodyguard for basically everything, and so he should start calling him master 😋. Or daddy, if it's not traumatising.
Agree that Thaenthai will probably always be emotionally dependent on Methee, as the only one who has ever believed in, and cared for him, but if you recall the flashback to their origin story, as young boys at Thatthep's charity event, it's Thaenthai's status as much as anything that saves street urchin Methee from the bullies stealing his food.
Given the strong class differences in Thai (and most Asian) countries, Methee's lifelong attitude toward Thaenthai will be that of a grateful and loyal servant to his Young Master, whatever the difference in their abilities.
Which isn't to preclude their private relationship being closer to the one we saw in Our Skyy 2 'Never Let Me Go' between 'servant' Palm and 'Young Master' Nuengdiao.
I think we can already assume nepo baby inherited his dad's fortune or else they wouldn't be netflix and chilling in their comfy comfy bed ><
Nepo baby has a fat inheritance coming his way- they are set for life, actually. But yeah, they were quite chaste compared to the main couple.

Hands down, one of the best finale episodes I’ve seen in a long time. This series served the entire way through. I’m glad I spent this portion of my life watching it.
Now, I’ll just sit back and wait for Jam and Film’s next project.

Someone had an idea on a thread a while ago for a series about a flight crew. Each episode (or maybe two episodes) would be a different flight with different passengers and a different story. But the crew would be the same. It’d be focused on character exploration that delves into the lives of different people through this snapshot in time.
Film would be a fantastic flight attendant for that, and Jam could be a reoccurring businessman who flies so often that he’s on most of the flights/episodes. His storyline would be carried through all (or most) of the episodes as an overarching story and Film’s love interest.
Ugh, where does one go to pitch series ideas to the Thai film industry? Do they have a suggestion box somewhere…? 👀

i loved it. it was really original. i mean, in what BL we can find gay sociopathic lawyer that sets buildings on fire? acting was on point, film deserves an award just for that evil smile alone. every character had their own story. my favorite was charn, but there was also one that stole the show in the last two episodes: charn's ex-boyfriend, nawin. he was the tankhun of this series.
the love between charn and tinn was so sweet. i love the enemies to lovers trope, and this was made so amazingly. i really, really loved them. especially in the last episodes, they were protective of each other! and their wedding?? so cute. i need every BL to end with a wedding.
overall every episode was full of fun, great fight scenes, amazing actors, a great story, and much, much more. i can't recommend it enough. yes, it had a small budget, but does it matter if it was a masterpiece? ❤️

Here's hoping that if they do another project together, they will be allowed to, and comfortable enough, to go toward a more satisfying payoff kiss. But honestly, they more than delivered in emotional intimacy and fantastic acting. I'm hoping all the other production companies/directors out there are taking notes.

I feel like the series stumbled in the previous 2-3 episodes taking a too lakorn-ish route, however this final ep they managed to get back to the level of the first ones, the bloody shower scene was very well done, making me picky I don't like when a character appears out of nowhere and people don't notice it, obviously I know they do it to surprise us but they always overlook the fact that the other characters don't have their field of vision limited to a screen.
on other tracks I never thought I'd be as obsessed with a masculine waistline as I was with Nawin's.
Three great finales this week. Laws takes the cake...this is how you end a show. TAKE NOTES MAME. (You're still my favorite writer, but take notes)
It starts off the worst. Like VegasPete sharing ramen bad. I was messaging SCB to bring me sandbags because I was out of tissues...towels...and soft fabric in general.
They covered a tremendous amount of plot. Mr. Unholy Night of the Horny was impeccable, as usual. Nepo Baby was doing the most, Manny manned up, and Charn and Jam looked amazing.
Shout out to NeungDiao's momma and Sylvie...beautiful.
And...there's no choose your own adventure ending ala my other favorite trash thriller of the year in CotH.
The best part for me, was seeing Nepo Baby demon Sperm donor taking a bath. Fulfilling and I was grimacing.

Also, I noticed that Film is a bit taller than Jam and he supposed to be the "cute" character so they filmed it from an angle that covered their height difference.

I like the height difference being the way it is tbh. It's a good visual reminder that despite being the cute character, he's also strong. It'd be interesting for them to switch in their next roles if they work on projects together again. Have Jam be the cute one and Film be the badass. I think their acting skills are versatile enough to pull it off.
I 100% need more of these kinds of stories with seasoned adult actors that know what they're doing. I think the school age ones are ok if you want to see which young actor you might want to keep an eye on later on as they gain experience - but honestly I'm beyond that stage and am thirsty for working adults that are well out of school.

I really wanted a full frontal shot of their wedding outfits. The best we saw was in the photo. I love suits with no shirt underneath, like Charn is wearing. They showed him wearing a white waistcoat earlier which must be the underneath layer here. And the length and wavy hem ... phew!!
So much happened in the last episode, it was a rollercoaster. I loved this show, I'm going to miss all the characters 😭 especially Charn's evil smile

The 2nd half is so cheesy, i died from lactose intolerance. Only the wedding brought me ba k to life.
Oh, and the actor playing nepo baby sperm donor also needs a BL. He’s fine as hell (e.g. the bathing scene in prison). Hungry for some daddy BL shows as it is far too scarce.

It was a shame they didn't capitalise on the chemistry between these two. It felt as though the actors didn't want to go any further? There was such a build-up and then underwhelming kisses. Oh well, they both look damn good, act well, and this storyline was decent too. SO all is forgiven.
I don't know if it had anything to do with the actors. It's a One31 show, they don't get that explicit. I was actually surprised at the amount of kissing there was in the show. I fully expected to only get a kiss on the finale.

I just finished watching the last episode 😭😭😭 urgh what a satisfying and PERFECT ending. The talk with grandma before the wedding is so heartwarming 🥹. I love the way they compromised each other. FilmJam’s chemistry tho (chef’s kiss) I don’t mind more project from them.

Everything has felt like a giant ball of fan service and it's leaving me feel really... meh.
I wish they did more with the plot that wasn't justGirl saw bad guy shoot someone. Bad guy runs girl over . I mean it's a lakorn! Where's the overly convoluted storyline? TSWL had multiple groups of people plotting around each other constantly, with poison mushroom dust and backstabbing and taboo relationships and it was all so delicious. This fell so short in comparison imo.
The moments between the leads also felt so forced and inorganic to me (with the exception of Tinn grabbing Charn by the waist in the club. That was spicy.) Everything was just really corny and on the nose and I rolled my eyes more than I swooned.
This had the potential to be so much more. Not surprised considering how quickly they got this made for JamFilm but I wish they took the time to properly craft and hone the story and characters.

He was wearing a bulletproof vest, which stopped the bullets. Hence no blood, although he probably got a couple broken ribs from it. And I did see a hole in the front of his shirt after he stopped pretending to be dead and sat up. 🤷

I really enjoyed the show and the wrap up was great. It was too short of course. Ep. 7 seem to be missing scenes I mean Tee and Tan just suddenly being in bed together? Where was the build up? I swear I was smiling through most of ep.8 with Chan and Tin being so on love and Chan being such a brat.
I do wonder about Tin. He must realize that Chan probably had something to do with the senator's death.
