Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3's Karen Gillan got into trouble for documenting the making of the movie, according to the actress.

She is of course familiar to Marvel Cinematic Universe lovers as the mechanical alien assassin Nebula, having previously played Amy Pond in Doctor Who.

In Gillan's latest YouTube vlog, which is definitely worth a look if you have 25 minutes spare, she recalled the cheeky lengths she went to all in the name of fan service.

"I've decided to make this vlog, because I essentially snuck my iPad onto the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and decided to film all of this behind-the-scenes footage, and I totally got in trouble for doing it," Gillan told the camera.

"I haven't really seen that many behind-the-scenes Marvel things, but I have to assume I have gotten about as close as you can possibly get to showing how you make one of these movies. I took my camera from first thing in the morning, until the last thing at night, over multiple days, of filming.

"It was meant to be a day in the life but I enjoyed it so much it turned into a week. I hope that you enjoy this sneaky peek into what it's like spending the week playing Nebula!"
